Came here without any expectation, as I read from the previous Google reviews that this place is old and nothing to see. The reviews were outdated and boy I was totally blown away. The museum is very modern with Muji vibe to it, not to mention the floor is sparkling clean. It is air-conditioned and very well maintained. - Take a look at the pictures taken. On the content part, it has very nice displays of the historical items and information about Kanchanaburi. We just spend around one hour at this museum, and most of the time we are just busying pictures, because it's so well designed. The entrance ticket is only THB50, which is very affordable. Do visit here if you happen to passby! (Follow me on Instagram @kehhung)

Similar to the silk road, Ban Kao captured the trade and people movement from late stone age to date. Fantastic place to visit.

(Translated by Google) Is a place to show the existence of the oldest ancestors With a thousand-year-old wooden coffin Development of tools since the Stone Age In ancient times, this place used to be a seaside before. Therefore is a place of trading with foreigners Officials say In this area, there has not been any serious archaeological excavations. There should be something new to be discovered. Give a lot more hilarity But because of lack of budget from the state and local Advancements in excavations are not going anywhere. Which is a classic problem of our home Despite being serious in this way It can boom the tourism industry to make a lot of money for the community. Story is already there. Only seriousness.

New style of prehistoric museum that was just opened in March 2022. I could not find timeline to explain the evolution of civilization in the same area in KanjanaBuri. Highly recommended to go within 1-2 years from now.
