Unbelievably beautiful! You'll find peace and tranquility when reaching the temple and pagoda's at the top of the mountain. One of the most beautiful places I've seen in Thailand. A must visit! Price for foreigners is 200 baht (entrance) + 70 baht (taxi) per person. Well worth it. You have the get to the parking (easy to find on Google maps, ลานจอดรถนักท่องเที่ยว) there you buy the tickets and get into the taxi (pick-up truck). He drops you off at the start of the trail. From there you go by foot, 800m, to the top. The trail is steep and full of stairs. Wear good shoes! Be careful when it rains it gets really slippery. Enjoy!

From the railway station you can arrive there by Yellow van. If group people, you can rent both ways. Rent is around 1000 Baht. For foreigners, the ticket is 200 Baht for round way transportation to reach the 2nd level of the mountain from the basement. Then you need to walk up around 800 meters to touch the top. At the base of the mountain, only 2 restaurants and one coffee shop available. At the second level, you will find out cold water, snacks, coffee also. If you have passion to trek the mountain, you can visit. Usually local people go there.

Local people go there mainly for praying. If you expect a breathtaking mountain scenery you may not get that. The experience was just so so. I found it was even better to take pictures of the temple from faraway locations when we were in the foothill! Not suitable for sb with motion sickness or joint problem bcz it's high and you need to climb up around 800m

Cool place, quite out of the way but worth visiting if you're in the area. Because of this though you'll get a lot of space to yourself. You have to park at the bottom and get a pickup truck up there. I think the total cost for 2 of us was 560 baht including 2 way pickup from the mountain and the tickets. Be prepared for a lot of stairs, we're relatively fit and do a lot of hiking and it still was hard. Worth it for the views though

Temple in the Sky. This Temple sits up on top of the mountain top. The only way to get here is to take a 4 wheel drive vehicle through a one lane road up a steep hill. About 1 km. The fare is 80baht. Once you get up to the landing point, then it's up 350+ steps up to the top. Don't give up. The view is worth it.

I drove from Chiangmai by scooter, drive was unbelievably beautiful with no traffic along the picturesque area! They don’t allow you to go up by yourself. They charged 30 TBH entrance fee for the temple, 55 TBH is up-down truck drive, and 200 for the National park entrance (which nobody checked and felt like a scam to me). They bring you to the beginning of the way up, which is 500 stairs, wasn’t difficult as for me. It’s not touristic, only locals were around. It was super quite when I got there (around 1pm), closer to 3pm more people started coming (again only locals). It’s very beautiful and peaceful up there! Ride is worth it, temples without those 200 TBH would be worth it too

I have never seen anything like this, it is absolutely worth all the efforts. First park your car at the end of the road, as a foreigner you need to pay 690 THB while Thais pay only THB 120 but nothing we can do about. Pick up trucks will take you up the mountain and once in its way you will understand why. When you arrive a sign will show you the way to the top but warns you that you will need to elevate another 530 meters!!! Do it, it is not easy and there are felt like 1000 stairs but it is absolutely worth it. I was so i overwhelmed and am still speechless

It’s a hidden gem that truly stands out! I read some bad reviews about this place and didn’t know if I should go here.. but with its captivating views and spiritual ambience it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression! The 490 baht admission fee for foreigners is absolutely worth it for the remarkable experience you’ll have. This price also includes the sangrei to the top from a parking lot, the road there is so crazy and dangerous! At the top there is some small cafe to eat and get some water, after that you need to go up more 840m but I felt it was a longer way, because it was extremely hot and hard to go up. Still I recommend this place because the road to get there is beautiful and the temple itself with its views are incredible!

Hired a car from Lampang (1090 THB + fuel) drove 1 hour north. 490THB to get in and get pick up truck to start of path. Its a steady walk to the temple up steps. Well worth the effort. Get there as early as possible preferably on a weekday.

Rode scooter to this location, nice ride. I arrived at 8:30. I thought the place was amazing, the views were incredible. Seen monkeys at the start of the walk. There are a lot of stairs so it is a bit of a work out. I seen many people take rest breaks as it is a tough climb, just take your time and you will be rewarded. 3btraveler

Got up early the morning and was rewarded by being the first to the top, presenting perfect photo opps. What an amazing experience and workout! Highly recommend a stop if you're in the area. Definitely worth the 490 Baht price to visit! Seems like it all goes to good causes 😊 Checkout the video below on my YouTube page for a ~1 minute video summary of the hike! https://youtu.be/qZ7pHCXc3L8?si=ki1wiDkfnji2TNtW

Wow! This is really cool to see. We drove up to the “bottom” of the mountain, where rangers can take you the rest of the steep and bumpy way up. Then after climbing about 500m of stairs, you’ll be rewarded with beautiful views. We went in the morning (9.30-ish), it was very calm. When we left a bit after eleven it started to get busier. Only thing that could be better is a slightly better viewing point for the pagodas.

Nice spot. You can drive to the bottom of the mountain, from where pickup cars will bring you half way up. From there it is 500 meter up the stairs. On a non hazy day the view must be breathtaking, otherwise it is the airquality ;)
