Turned down the road when we saw the sign, had not planned on going here. Was fun, signs were in Thai and English. A young man appointed himself our tour guide and he only spoke Thai--usually too fast for us to follow. But he was nice. There are two covered pits with skeletal remains. If there was an official info desk or center, I did not see it. The village itself was small, and during our visit, all the locals were spreading out rice to dry. The souvenir had some Thai crafts at low prices.

Excavation site of ancient burial site of an ancient farming community dating back some 3000 years. There is also a small museum, which is unfortunately not well maintained.

Well presented and well looked after - worth an hour or so of your time. Should combine with a visit to Prasart Ban Prasart and Ku Ban Prasart whisk are about 30 km away . . . ... :)

A good side visit after Prasat Phimai. The little guide was good, but only spoke Thai. Ban Prasat help you understand the areas history a little more.

It's quite interesting, but it's not easy to find it and once you are in, it's not easy to understand what to see and where to go to find out the excavation site. Free entrance.

Only worth a stop if you are passing on the way to or from Phimae. It’s only 5 minutes from the main road and you’ll spend no more than 5 minutes in the “museum” then a short walk to the archeological dig for another 5 minutes there.

Although very small in size but is very interesting with details of the excavated buried grounds. Apparently, the area is probably full of more to be discovered.
