Outstanding! Burritos are moist but not too wet, skillfully and generously wrapped, and just the best I've had in years! By far the best on the island! We've been there two days in a row with my girlfriend because it was just a blast! I was considering giving fives stars despite the music that is way too loud, but the loaded chilli fries could really be fresh potatoes and not defrosted as it is actually the case; it was a bit a bummer to have such balanced and well made chilli con carne with japalenos topping fries that were not matching the quality of the rest... I'll for sure tell them and I'll review my review if they changes that detail because it's just a great place that would deserve to become one of the island's iconic western restaurant! Staff is super friendly and devoted, food (if I didn't say it enough) is beautiful, and it's very pleasant to eat whilst watching people on the market downstairs... Beef burrito is our favourite of all... Go for it! NB: I see that other reviews from the place are referring to the former version of the restaurant and the former management, they don't do seafood anymore, and the poorly wrapped burritos I saw on other pictures are definitely from another time. This version of the restaurant is a newer thing, and the place has had quite a few unsuccessful former managements before. Just for info... I wish them to be more successful than their predecessors, and it seems to start well

Great Mexican food! We ate here yesterday and enjoyed it so much we came here again today, the street tacos and burritos are very good! We loved the pulled pork filling the most. Also great mangaritas!

Very attentive staff. The nachos lacked loads of cheese for the description „loaded with cheese“. Reminded me of a mexican interpretation of Bruschetta. The quesadillas on the other hand - very tasty.

The tacos here are close to authentic Mexican. I’ve been to Mexico 10 times. I highly recommend the beef tacos here. The service is incredible here. The staff are kind and the food came out quickly. This is a hidden gem on koh phangan.

My wife wanted to dine here, i had 2nd thoughts because i couldn't imagine that a mexican restaurant in thailand would be good. but boy o boy what was i wrong. This is the best food i've eaten in a while!! in my opinion they serve better food here than in most (tourist)restaurants in mexico where we've been! We decided to comeback and have our last diner at the island here as well. the first time was not a lucky moment, it was delicious again!! i recommend everyone to eat here!! dont miss this place out & try the homemade margaritas!

A vibrant place in the heart of the food market! The Mexican Steakhouse is a perfect place for a round of great steaks with friends. As it is located in the center of Thongsala, it is very easy to reach from everywhere and quite easy to find upstairs the food market plaza. Perfect service with amazing knowledge about their products as well as delicious food can be very much expected while a visit in this restaurant! Try it out!

Amazing tacos and burritos! I eat here all the time and the quality and taste never disappoints. The service is fast and personnel nice, also the atmosphere and decoration inside is very pleasant. Totally recommend!

Great View over the little market, Mexican beach shack decor done tastefully, and delicious food. Chicken wings and prawn taco were both so good. Highly recommend
