I don't really write reviews but I have to give one here. I completed my Open Water Diver course at this wonderful diving school. The training lasted a total of 3 days. I was able to learn from my instructor Kevin for the first two days. His way of teaching things is admirable. The enthusiasm he feels for this sport is contagious. I got a lot from Kevin! A very big THANK YOU at this point. 🙏🏼 On the third and final day of my training, I was able to do two dives with Anna. Both dives were wonderful. Anna is a warm and nice person. She is also a good trainer. In general I can say that choosing this diving school was one of the best decisions of my life. You definitely feel in good hands and very welcome here. You are also very well informed in advance and all questions are answered professionally.

Our first diving experience and I’m not a good swimmer. I was anxious but Anna was so brilliant. We took our time and went as fast as we wanted. Safety is there first priority and they are such a professional team. All the staff are friendly can’t recommend them any higher. We will come back in the future to try more

Best diving school on Koh Lipe! Friendly, fun and professional. Also: great values for money. My partner was a beginner. She did her Open Water certificate an Ocean Republic and was very satisfied with the learning experience. Together we booked several fun dives and some of the best coral reefs in Thailand. Thank you to the wonderful international team Kevin, Niels, Clélia, Anna, Pili and Agus.

Overall, awesome center and super friendly staff, would definitely recommend. I went for the discover scuba experience and I liked it so much that decided to take the open water certification. My schedule was a bit tight but Pili was super helpful organizing it and fitting it in. My diving instructor Kevin was awesome. He was super enthusiastic and made the theory lessons engaging and entertaining, I quite enjoyed them. The dive itself was great!!!! thanks to his guidance I felt always secure and confident. Thanks for everything :)

Great experience diving with ocean republic. I've done 4 fun dives with them. Anna and Neils are excellent professionals that take care of everything, from explaining the dive and setting up the gear for everyone to spotting marine life and helping fill your logbook. They're both very attentive and helpful at all time. In addition, in one dive she called the attention to a diver that was stepping onto the seafloor, which made me think that they care about marine life and its preservation (something really valuable from my point of view). I just wish I'd have dove more with them. Thank you mates!

Went on 4 dives with our knowledgable, witty and caring guide, Pelly (Pelore). Kevin joined us, too. Both were friendly and excited to share the underwater world with us. Pelly was my dive buddy. I'm only about 10 dives in, she was very gentle with scolding me 😄 when I would get distracted and begin to wander. She was very aware of our surroundings and me, and made an effort to find cool things and share them with me. My fave spots we dove were Koh Yang. Loved the long black n white sea snake, the little shrimp and the filefish and triggerfish. Thank you for the fun tour. Sad to leave Lipe. Xoxo

Great experience. We came with 3 qualified divers and 1 aspiring diver and the team (Pili, Clelia, Aidi) were very happy to accommodate. Enjoyable experience throughout and plenty of sealife seen. Good quality equipment provided with lots of support assembling them. Would highly recommend!
