We had such a great experience with SafeDive! We were a family of 5: 2 kids did a fun dive, 1 kid did the try dive and 2 adults went snoring. Roman communicated all the info and options and even came and met us to collect the payment. On the day of the trip we were picked up from our hotel and brought to the pier where we met the team who took us to the boat. Everyone had a great time! The kids scuba instructor Cob was super nice and patient with the kids! The gear was good and the food on the boat was great. Highly recommend Roman & his team for a great day on the water scuba diving & snorkling

It was a wonderful experience to complete my Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certification under Dive Safe Phuket team. Since initial contact with Roman till completion of the course and issuance of the certificate, I have been provided with punctual guidance and required hand holding. Very well organized efforts I must say. Niwa Takashi, my dive instructor, is a great trainer, diver and under water photographer, would love to undertake few more advanced courses with him. Thank you for everything!!!

Our experience with Dive Sage Phuket was truly fantastic. Roman exceeded our expectations in ensuring our trip was enjoyable. My husband, who isn't very confident in scuba diving, was appreciative of Roman's patience. This adventure resulted in one of our most memorable scuba diving experiences. We decided to go for the photos and videos package, and it was well worth it.

Would absolutely recommend!! It was my first time diving and can call it an amazing experience. Cannot say a bad about DiveSafe- everything was just as explained on their website, very communicative. My master instructor Takashi Niwa was very friendly and calm with big respect to the underwater life. He explained everything clearly, after the dive gave me some tips for the future! Highly recommend to take classes with him, especially if you like to take things slow without any rush.

It was great experience for me . I did my scuba 🤿 first time while I don’t know how to swim . Thanks to my instructor Takshi (a Japanese marine) helped me to explore under water world . I came in for a diving experience to phuket from Gurgaon (India) with my husband. I was initially quite nervous about the experience. We hired Divesafe as our diving center for the experience. Roman was our instructor for the 3 days of the course and while we expected to be learning in a group, it turned out to be a complete Private training experience for the both of us. Day 1 is always the pool day where before actually entering the ocean you learn and polish skills in a mock dive pool about 3 meters deep. Roman ensured that we were actually learning where he put us to the test twice or thrice over till we actually got it right. He also ensured that the equipment fit us right. For instance- my mask was too big so he got a new smaller one the next day. Day 1 is also the test day. Test is fairly easy if you've read the ssi aap reading material even once over. Day 2 was the shore day when you slowly walk into the ocean with a rope to experience diving. We went to Kata beach for this where we saw alot of beautiful marine life. We only went 9 meters deep and we felt so much more confident thanks to the amazing pool day. Underwater roman was also very communicative at each step to ensure we are okay and comfortable. His personality is a little more like a strict dad who has to ensure everything is perfect underwater. It could be overwhelming initially but it's for your own good right? Day 3 was the real diving experience where we went in 18 m deep in Racha Noi & Marina Bay. We also had a fun dive in the end where we saw a wreck and alot of sea life around it. We spotted a gorgeous pink jellyfish. Roman was super helpful through the experience again. I also must compliment the boat staff that was very polite. We had a food restriction where we are vegan and gluten free and roman ensured we had separate plates with our vegan food in the buffet. We were touched by this gesture. The experience truly makes you and independent Diver. Roman isn't someone who'd give you a certificate at the end of it just because you've paid him. He needs you to earn it. Hes one of the most experienced divers and in the industry and everyone in phuket seemed to know him. He also brought in professional photography equipment on the last day and captured some beautiful pictures for us at an additional charge of 1500 Baht and almost immediately transferred them as well. All in all- I do highly recommend going on with Roman if you can be serious and keep your ego at bay as sometimes it can be tested with his remarks but he means well and truly wants you to know your skill you've come to be certified for.

It's an impressive diving experience. Recommended for those looking for a place to scuba dive. Mr. Roman took very good care of me. Attentive and most importantly, the picture is very beautiful. And I will definitely come back to dive here again. 🙏🏻

We did the Discover Scuba Diving Program. Everything from the booking to the dive was very smooth. Roman made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived at their office. Both our diving instructors, Roman and Beto were very professional. They briefed us in detail which is made is quite easy for us even though we were first time divers. Definitely recommend learning Scuba Diving from them.

After 2 failed attempts in Puerto Rico and Greece, this was my third time trying the discover (non-certified/beginner) scuba dive. Roman, my wonderful instructor at Dive Safe, was possibly the best guide I could have asked for and I cannot express the gratitude I feel for his guidance in helping me complete my first dive. Roman ensured that I had my basics right and made me feel so comfortable and confident. I would recommend to anyone who desires to be able to scuba dive and feels will never be able to do it, to make the effort to travel to Thailand from wherever you may be in the world, just to dive with Roman.

Totally amazing experience from start to finish. A magical day of scuba diving for me and snorkelling for my wife. I hadn’t dived in a while and so took the refresher course with the wonderful Takashi. Takashi is the kindest and most patient instructor who made me feel confident and safe. The boat was great and there was always more food than we could out. Just s great day out and super price with wonderful people.

This was my first scuba experience. Roman was amazing. Very patient and understanding instructor. We went to kata beach phuket for the dive and the marine life was absolutely gorgeous. Was so so glad we had Roman, he is the sweetest and made sure our dive went VERYYY smoothly. The dive left me speechless. All in all, my experience was beautiful

I had a fantastic experience earning my Open Water Diver certification with DiveSafe Phuket. Roman is a strong instructor who won’t take any shortcuts or let you off the hook without ensuring you know what you’re doing! If you want to really learn and come away from the certification experience with confidence, this is the course for you. Communication with Roman before and during the 3 day course was easy using WhatsApp. When it came to things like selecting lunches, using different currencies, etc., Roman was flexible and accommodating. The course is also a great value for 3 days of rental gear, instruction, training dives, and 2 fun dives at the end. (Our fun dives were in the Phi Phi marine park area which was absolutely gorgeous!) I highly recommend using DSP for your certification if you’re looking to do it in Phuket.
