There's no need to splash out on a speed boat trip to Koh Lan. The ferry service is top-notch, punctual, and easy on the wallet, costing only 30 Baht each way. Whether you're docking at Naban Pier or Tawaen Pier on the flip side of the island, the fare remains pleasantly affordable. The ferry experience itself is a delightful journey. As the coastline of the island comes into view, the sea breeze hits you, and there's something about the rhythmic motion of the boat that adds to the excitement of approaching Koh Lan. The ferry offers a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty, so take a moment to appreciate the stunning seascapes. All in all, the ferry service provides not just a cost-effective but also a picturesque and enjoyable ride to Koh Lan. Highly recommended for a truly memorable trip!

I don't see the need to fork out lots of money on a speed boat trip to Koh Lan. The ferry service is excellent, regular, and only costs 30 Baht each way. The ferries run to Naban Pier or Tawaen Pier on the other side of the island, but the cost is the same. To Naban takes 40 minutes and Tawaen 50 minutes. I went one way to Naban and came back from Tawaen. The two places are connected by Songtaew, or you can walk to the other side of the island if you have the energy to get over the hill.

You can experience both ferry & speed boat here. You can reach Koh Larn in 30 minutes with ferry….. speed boats are faster, of course. For ferries, they usually depart on certain times but seems like it departs earlier when there are many passengers. You can refer to time schedule for ferries.

It is the most economical way of transport to go to Koh larn..30 baht per person is the ticket fare.every 1 hour there is a ferry .Took almost 40 minutes to reach koh larn .. They provide safety jackets. I prefer to recommend this if you are travelling with small kids.

Excellent value 30thb per person to travel to Koh Larn. Roughly 40 minute travel time. Staff help you get on and off boat but no walking ramp.Check which beach you want to travel too to get correct ferry. Life jackets on board.
