Located in proximity to Grand Palace, Wat Pho Temple and Museum Siam, Sanam Chai Station shows the most royal architecture master of landmark stations with lotus pillar and floral golden patterns. The most heart of Tourist Metro Station in Bangkok !

Just loved how beautifully it is designed by adding a traditional Thai art and architecture as key elements to this station. Very creative and well thought pools of ideas combined together to shape the new tastes to the latest commuting technology. Appreciated it

This MRT station is located close to wat pho and I took a train to go to Sukhumvit station. The ride is very comfortable and the station is very well designed.

Easily the most impressive MRT station in Bangkok. However, be very mindful of aggressive English-speaking barkers that target unsuspecting tourists hanging out at the exit. These guys run the tried and true "Temple closed/Lucky Buddha/Export Center" scam and will quite literally take you for a ride to waste your time and your money.

The most iconic MRT station in the city. Unlike other stations, this station is well designed with local thai ornaments on its interior design with red as the dominant colors. It is also the only one station that build excavating under the river about 200 metres and become the first underneath river tunnel.

I have to agree with others that this really is Bangkok's most stunning MRT station.
