Very good family restaurant, although it doesn’t look like it from the front , just go through the building to the back and they have a great sea view. Excellent food at a good price. They are happy to edit most recipes to your dietary restrictions/tastes as everything is make fresh for you. Was so good we went back multiple times.

We ate here several years ago, and every time we get Thai food in NYC or fish anywhere in the world, we compare our meal to here. The three flavored fish was one of the best dishes we’ve had anywhere in the world. Atmosphere and service can’t be beat either.

Great place for coffee and Thai food. When you walk in the front, keep going through the kitchen and on to the back deck. The lady who runs the restaurant is a home style cook and the food has authentic flavours from the south. I would definitely recommend the snapper with 3 flavours (sweet, sour and spicy) and the morning glory with fermented beans. It was delicious! The coffee is fresh and satisfying.

Had brunch here on a nice, sunny morning. Reaching here was a bit difficult as the exterior of the restaurant is non-descript yet somehow after a few detours we finally reached here. On entering it was dark and we could see the kitchen and various foods with their tempting aroma was wafting from there. All members of the family were busy preparing the meal. We were greeted by the host and taken to the dinning area. On entering the dinning area we were mesmerized by its beauty, dining deck homely decorated with surrounding view of the seagreen water. We were spellbound. Perfect Instagramable area. We ordered pork ribs, whiskey sour and cold coffee. Food and drinks were a perfect accompaniment to the area, succulent pieces of pork and the cold beverages what's not to love. We wanted to try other dishes but weren't able to do so due to lack of time. Leaving this place was pretty difficult. Location, food, prices, staff behaviour makes this place a must visit one. Prices are affordable ones. The host and few members of the family were friendly and welcoming, we talked for a while about our journey and their restaurant, in general about life in Thailand, very enriching experience. We really enjoyed our time here and will surely want to come here again.

Usually I do not write reviews but the three flavours fish was the best fish I have EVER had. Life long experience.

Really good food, restaurant located by the ocean. You pass through the kitchen to get to the waterfront places, which is funny. We had morning glory, fried while fish and curry and all of it was splendid. Would clearly recommend!

Started off our meal with wonderful cocktails. Lunch consisted of garlic and pepper seafood plus the deep fried spicy fish. Best seafood eaten here! Really delicious. Very friendly staff, and a walk through the kitchen to the outdoor terrace on the water which is lovely to see.

We have ordered three flavours fish and fried fish and both of them were super delicious. Also the staff was friendly and welcoming. Menu is hand written and looking very nice. Definitely recommended!

We ate the fried Snapper with three flavours and were amazed how good the fish was. Fresh and very tasty. Margaritha Cocktail also very good. Nice table with sea view. Friendly staff.

We had a tasteful dinner in a nice location with a very cozy environment. The food was good. We went for what it was recommended on the menu and we were not disappointed. We had fried fish, mix vegetables and a papaya salad and they were all delicious. The cherry on the cake the nice company we had from the house cat (see pictures 😀). If you are in the area stop by here and enjoy some good food, I highly recommend it 😉

This was the best restaurant we visited on Ko Lanta. As other people have mentioned, the three flavour fish is excellent and the Panaeng curry. Incredible value as well. The terrace is beautiful and there's a friendly cat too.

Fresh fish, kidney friendly food. The best things here is fish, order as deep fried, stir fried, steam, with any kind of sauces will always be comfort you. They don't do heavy flavor for food so it safe for everyone to test it. I like the seating arrangement here, compact but comfort, calm but amused, nice contrast. 🦀

Lovely spot, we highly recommend. Walking through the kitchen to the seating area overlooking the ocean, we were greeted with warm smiles and lovely welcomes. An adorable cat joined us. We thought our cashew chicken stirfry was 10/10, and the deep fried garlic fish was a 12/10.

We had steamed seabass with lime and chilli, deep fried prawn in tamarind sauce with a few cocktails. Food were good with a view. The price is ok, not too expensive compare to another restaurants. :)

THE PLACE TO EAT! If you visit Lanta Old Town seriously this is the place you should stop by to eat. They’re so friendly and speak English very well. The food was so good. And I do recommend the 3 flavours fish like the other reviews 😍

The 3 flavours snapper was recommended by the waiter and we really enjoyed it. Also spicy noodle salad was super flavourful, though not so spicy. Super kind staff

Great view, and almost a little hidden - yes, you have to walk through the kitchen to get to the seating by the water, but do it!! It's beautiful and quiet because the other tourists can't find it 🤣 coffee is solid, smoothies are all fresh so they're great, food is very tasty. It's super cute and well kept out in the dining area despite the initial impression when you walk through.

The best food in Koh Lanta. I think it is a family business, you can feel warm home atmosphere there :) service is excellent! I recommend to try fried fish - „3 flavours” and „thai herbs”. It was soooo delicious.

Best food and service in the old town. Not a big fancy restaurant but the vibe is the best! They cater for vegetarians and vegans and even have a separate menu! The owner is fluent in english and very friendly! We had the best table to watch the moon rise last night :) super recommend if you are looking for simple Thai culture experience.

Great food and service. Not a fancy restaurant, but the vibe was the best. The waiter helped us to pick the dishes based on our taste and the food was great. We ordered the fish in garlic sauce for the people who don't like spicy food and the 3 flavored fish for the spicy lovers. The cheese garlic bread was amazing!

Great place for lunch to go with your Old Town Visit, do note that the google map is inaccurate and will point you to a souvenir shop instead. Check out the pictures on other reviews indicating how the store front looks (they usually place a sign telling you that you can get a whole snapper for XXX Bhat) Had the 3 Flavour Fish (what else?!), Morning Glory and Phad Thai, which were all on their recommended list on their menu. For their Phad Thai they use a different noodle compared to the usual flat noodles (possibly sweet potato noodles) and tended to clump together - was not a fan of that. Since food is made to order, we did not have to wait long as the only patrons in the restaurant (low season) so do be prepared to wait when you are visiting during peak!

We dined here two nights in a row because it was so good. The squid was the freshest I've had, and cooked so well. The back of the restaurant with its tables over the sea is beautiful too.

Amazing food and experience - we came here based upon the great reviews online and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The staff were very attentive, the sea views were great and the food was to die for. We had the “fish three ways”, a Panang curry & a side of morning glory. All 3 were 10/10 dishes that were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavours - the only problem was that we wanted more once we’d finished!! We couldn’t recommend eating at Aspara any more - an all round great experience and we’ll 100% be back!!
