Honestly the worst fries I've ever eaten, they are so insanely fat. I'm from The Netherlands where we eat loads of fries and this was way below the standard. For a Belgian place it's quite a shame since fries should be their speciality. The burger bread was super big and tasted great. However, the burger itself was very small and wasn't that great. How can the burger be so small compared to the bread? The beef stew was great and made the experience at least half decent.

I really enjoyed the Belgian beer bistro. It’s got a mix of differing foods. From mains and desserts. The lamb dish I had I really enjoyed and have a taste of home. There was plenty of lamb, roast potatoes. I have tried two deserts here and enjoyed the both. Belgium waffles and chocolate lava cake. They also have a bar with a selection of beers for those wanting pump beer. Staff were friendly helpful and efficient. The price reasonable but not Thai prices but I have been back and would pay the same again. There is indoor and outdoor seating looking out with a beach view.

Oh man this place is quite honestly one of the most delicious restaurants I have eaten at on the island - and in Thailand. The steak was ABSOLUTELY amazing, and for such a reasonable price. The burger was delicious & came with 5 different delicious sauces to try. If you wondering whether to try this place here’s your sign DO IT. I can’t wait to come back.

If you order meat be sure that it’s fresh. We ordered the Australian Sirloin 500gr and it was tasteless. The Chef try to convince us that it was fresh by bringing a raw piece…turns out that the raw piece was grey! I am 100% convinced that the meat was not fresh. The waitress are very nice and helpful.

My favourite beef stew on Koh Phangan. Glad it’s on the regular menu now. Great burgers, great steaks and good wine. Staff are always friendly and welcome me by name on arrival.

Highly recommend the moules frites.👌 Biggest mussels I’ve ever eaten! We had the Thai style and French style mussels, and they were phenomenal and the broth was so flavorful. They also come with a decent portion of fries. The homemade Belgian chocolate mousse was great for sharing, rich and creamy. There is a large selection of Belgian beers on the menu. I did order a mocktail which turned out to just be a smoothie, but it was good.

Last night we had nice dinner with amazing foods on my husband birthday - Bone Marrow always order this one -Tagliatelle carbonara Rich and creamy 😋 -LAMB shank ❤️❤️ with truffle mashed potatoes it’s so wonderful my fav plate Also I love to drink beer here Kasteel red

I love this restaurant and it have nice atmosphere. But when you order Argentinian tenderloin for a premium price you don’t expect that they serve you the end point of the tenderloin with the silver skin still attached to it. Everything else was very good

I went twice, I tasted the duck first time I went, good but a bit dry imo. Second time I took the Argentinian steak. Very good, pepper sauce very good as well. French fries a bit disappointed, small portion and nothing to do with Belgian fries… still tasty but not what I expected. Ice cream was not as I expected neither. There was pieces of ice which indicate bad refrigeration usually… I’ll keep visiting and trying as I do think overall it’s a good place, and will update review as well. Thx

I heard a lot about this place. As Belgian, all my expectations were fulfilled. A great location on the beach, with fresh mussels. It was an amazing night ! I definitely recommend stopping by if you are on koh Phangan, this is a little piece of Belgium in Thailand. The Belgian fries are amazing and homemade, the mussels were perfect, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I will come back !

Arrived quite late and the kitchen was still open, food came quickly and was the best burger I’ve had on the island, the Belgian fries are to die for too! A great range of beers available too. I would highly recommend going here, it also has an amazing beach just metres away.

We have the half duck with 5 spice, the muscles with truffle sauce, and the lamb. The lam was by far the best thing, melt in your mouth tender. The duck was very good but I prefer it to be a bit crispy this was more oily, the usual duck breast off the regular menu is better imo. The muscles are always a tasty choice, the creamy truffle sauce is the perfect compliment to the muscles. The waist staff had a hard time understanding I think maybe he was new but he did his best to make up for any mistakes which is much appreciated. I would recommend this place.

The Belgian beef stew just tasted like the one in Belgium so cheers to that. Good selection of beers. The steak was good in flavor too but a bit too chewy to our liking.

I have never had a bad meal here. Have had the fish, mussels, steak, scallops, burgers. They are all very good portions, crispy chips and complimentary sauces. It is a great vibe and if you are going to be a big group would recommend booking. Nice setting for celebrations. The service team is attentive and friendly. Win win.

I used to love BBB and hadn’t gone there in many months since I was in northern Thailand. I just returned and it seems their chef might have changed. The food quality and size is not like it used to be. They used to serve the best French fries and hamburger and now they are very average and small. It’s a shame cause their food was amazing.
