First thing first: It's not Fair 4.5 for II barracuda. Chief is also fisherman and fabulous chief. Grilled barracuda, pizza, and mussels soup best ever feast in a cozy restaurant. Come and meet the chef and his masterpieces youself.

Very tasty fish cappacio and pasta. Fish were very fresh and also comes in good portions. prawns pasta also very tasty. One of the best meal I had in phangan.

Wonderful Italian food cooked with love. Fresh fish caught by the owners grandson. Beautifully prepared! We had carpaccio on queen fish which was absolutely delicious, served with real Italian olive oil and focaccia. After that we had fresh fish pasta which was boiled perfectly Al dente and served with a tomato sauce with fresh fish and capers. The staff is professional but casual and the restaurant has a nice ambience. The pizza is also the best on the island! They have European beer and wine as well.

My #1 go to for pizza in KPG!! The pizza here is authentic italian and trastes superb I gave 100/10!! Also ceviche here is excellent. The fish is very fresh and all the ingredients in the dish made it a perfect dish! Highly recommend!!!

Pizza was fantastic. Have to wait long for the dinner. Pasta for my daughter comes after we finished our pizza.

We are Italian and as we stepped in we felt home. Amazing handmade Italian pizza, the real one with Italian ingredients. We love also ethnic and Thai food, and here you can try special food from Thai and Burmese tradition. Francesco is a super chef and fisher and all the fish is super fresh, daily catched by the chef. Highly recommended. We will return again.

Being a vegetarian, I tried only the pizza here and it was very disappointing. There are much better places on the island if you crave real Italian pizza. The pasta and fish dishes on the other tables looked very good; this must be the their speciality! But the pizza needs to be improved a lot. Owners and staff are really lovely and welcoming.

Avoid the pizzas. Oily low quality "mozzarella". The pizzas are soaked and dripping from it. I almost refused my pizza, and couldn't finish it. The dough seemed ok though, but it was clearly overpriced for the quality. On the plus side, the barbecue fish was good and the Italian owner nice and welcoming.

An Italian Man from Tuscany can only serve amazing food ! Wood Fired Pizza, plus plus plus! Even the wine is correct. The Grilled Red Snapper his friends caught today - real and even better. Salads amazing. Fresh Pasta - Wow!

My wife and I are on our honeymoon and had a wonderfully romantic dinner here. Everything was delicious, the seafood was so fresh! (Do yourself a favour and get the fish carpaccio - out of control). Francesco (the owner, who catches the fish himself) and his beautiful nonna made us feel so welcome. After dinner and wine, we had the pleasure of dancing in the twilight on the deck. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We just finished an amazing meal here at Il Barracuda. The pizza was incredible, and we know Pizza! The Chilean red wine was Devine and the salad so fresh and delicious with a beautiful dressing. . We finished with the homemade chocolate ice cream 😍. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere whilst casual is still beautifully styled. Great for dates or large gatherings. 👍👍👍👍👍 We will definitely come back to the seafood on the menu.

Food poisoning!! Epic food poisoning. I got the fish pasta and had the worst experience. I was sick all night long, and into the next few days. I was so sick over the toilet I had an out of body experience. It’s really terrible. The food is overpriced, expensive, and not worth it. It is “Italian” however, the only Italian person is the owner. Perhaps the owner is French, we didn’t really talk. Fine. Pros: • the owner seems nice. Cons: • I talked to many other people about this place, they all said they did not like the food. • I got epic food poisoning, so do you want to ruin your trip with bad food poisoning as well?

Incredible seafood prepared fresh. I personally loved the ceviche and the pizzas they made. Fresh out of an oven. Francesco is an amazing host and chef.

Service was very good. I specially went there to taste their bbq fish… I was a bit disappointed… it was dry and quite expensive for the quality. The fish carpaccio however was EXCELLENT!

We had the carpaccio with an order of the mussel and clam soup, as well as a pizza. All of these dishes were fresh, clean, and most of all, delicious! Definitely recommend.

Nice place, the service was ok. The food was really bad. We had fish bones in the ceviche, the salad was tasteless and the pasta dish was bad… Maybe it wasn’t their night, since we came after we saw good reviews! For us it was just a bad experience..

Authentic Italian food made with extremely fresh ingredients. Fish carpaccio was just amazing and pizza made to perfection! The staff is very nice and friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. We had dinner by the lake. Highly recommended!
