We have been here for lunch, excellent food, excellent presentation of the dishes and excellent service, we are an Italian couple and we have been really surprised to find a place like this out of our country. I have to say something about the interior design… excellent too! 😍

Wonderful Italian Restaurant with many Vegan Vegetarian and Gluten-free Options. Very delicious and fresh food. Seating a bit uncomfortable but the nice owners and perfect service makes up for it. Will definitely visit again.

Surprisingly comfortable spot tucked in behind the family mart. Seemed pretty popular with the local crowd. Not surprising considering the quality of food. Staff were nice enough too. Parking was a bit sparse though.

The food are clean and fresh. The pastas are not made properly. We wait to first dish 55 min. And the main 1:30 hours.

This is a local Italian just off the Hin Kong Road. I enjoyed being here and the food was pretty good. I believe it’s pre cooked however it was still tasty. It was quite full on the two occasions I went. It’s moderately priced. I had a main meal, a soda, coffee and dessert for around 13 Uk pounds. Around 15 dollars. It’s worth a visit if your looking for something different. However, there are better Italian food places cooked from fresh. The reason I have it a 3 is because I don’t believe it’s cooked fresh and I expect this for the price in Thailand. The service was good and the staff attentive.

Excellent burrata as a starter. The pasta was good but the lasagna left something to be desired.

Amazing experience every time. This has to be the best Italian restaurant on the island. The quality of ingredients is top notch and consistent with every visit. They have a wide selection of wines as well.

I’m drooling writing this review. This place has the best Italian food in Thailand. Took me back to my days in Italy. If you are like me and need a bit of a spicy kick, ask for the chilly oil on the side! I went 2 days in a row and ordered the same dish, the spaghetti with tomato sauce and ricotta 🤤

Sorry but the food wasn't good tasting, and the owner's reply to my review is surprising... I ordered the vegetarian lasagna and it was served cold inside, which means it is pre-made, not fresh, and is being reheated upon order, but even with that it was served cold inside and wasn'tgood tasting even after being reheated, and I don't think that any resteraunt that respects itself should come up with excuses, in fact, for the prices being charged you should really take this review and try to fix whatever was wrong with the dishes. After the dish was reheated it still didn't taste good and also the pesto spaghetti was missing flavor and I couldn't taste the pesto. All together I think that for the prices this place is asking to charge they should try to do better.

My Italian boyfriend says the vegan lasagna is amazing,personally I think it’s better than the meat one I tried in Sicily

Good Italian food! Where do they get such good burrata in Thailand...?! The pasta ragu and the octopus very good quality as well. And nice wines, better than other restaurants so you recognize the owners want good quality. The food was a bit oily, but very tasteful. They unfortunately only have filter coffee, so no espresso after dinner which we missed to be honest. And don't forget to bring cash because you can't pay with card.

Nice find, very nice staff and solid kitchen. King mackerel carpaccio was very nice and fresh and the mixed platter is enough for 2 medium hungry ones. The lasagne abruzze style is very similar to crespelle (crepes instead of pasta sheets).

We were here the last two times and came back again many times for dinner, as the food is really amazing! I would say the best Italian unusual food on the island. Far from ordinary dishes, very exquisite plates, fresh fish and seafood and even meat. Plus very good Italian wine. A culinary experience to live through! Highly recommend!

Great food, especially Tiramisu, even though it's a bit pricey in comparison to a local cuisine...

We were at Nena twice, because, you know, 7 months we’ve explored all Thailand/ Malaysia/ India and this is the best Italian restaurant on the islands (even + Koh Samui) in our opinion. We’ve ordered salmon and tuna tar-tar / lamb/ vongole/ fish/ tiramisu and panna cotta. Also we tried 2 types of wine. Everything was TOP. Ok, maybe we miss Italian cuisine:), but me and my husband were in Italy 4 times and this restaurant really good quality. And some Italian restaurant on Krabi province/ on the north of Thailand were very simple with pizza and prosciutto only:) Here very delicious menu. We definitely will back to Phangan island.

Really good Italian. The lasagna is my go to here but the vegetarian lasagna and the parmigiana is also excellent. A must try here is the dessert, it’s so good that I sometimes go there just for the panna cotta (❤️) and the tiramisu!

We been to many Italian restaurant in koh phangan and never try Nena so my wife and i decide to have an dinner there. We are Italian food lover . We order some pasta and we notice we have an kid of 2 years old eat with us . But when pasta come there is chili powder on top . We just said to the waiters we don’t ask for chili on our pasta and then one of the owner just interrupt us and told us : WHAT IS THE PROBLEM !!! So we just said all right no problem because we see she was very upset by us !!! We thought when you have an restaurant you know how to treat and welcome any customers but not in this place … We definitely no going there again and recommend Remini restaurant…better quality and warm welcome anytime !!!

Has a great atmosphere in here, especially if you come at night, seems like a more local place to eat because it's a bit out of the way of the town. Had the lamb skewers here which were excellent. Service is great, but the 2nd time we came here for takeout they messed up my wife's order so be careful.

A hidden gem. Great and accomodating staff with huge smiles. The food is delicious and i loved the ambiance!

Restaurant is nice, staff is very polite. Tuna Tartare was really good. Spaghetti ai Ricci di Mare was very disappointing. I was (mis)led to the restaurant by an image here on Google, depicting said meal with at least 10 pieces of Uni ontop of the pasta. Reality was very different. Pasta was ok, white wine sauce overly watery, not clinging at all to the pasta. Ontop, maybe one piece of Uni, scattered in pieces. Uni itself was rather bland.

Simply one of the best meals I've had, inside or outside of Italy! Every single thing we tried was spectacular, We can't wait to go back!

This place makes me feel like I’m in Italy! The food is amazing, high quality, unique and delicate taste, with cosy atmosphere. I had the octopus with potato cream, the roasted cheery tomatoes are to die for.
