This
review
is
for
the
Bebe
wok
n
roll
cooking
class.
It
was
my
first
time
ever
taking
a
cooking
course
and
I
imagined
it
to
be
a
carefree
tourist
activity
with
friends
but
I
left
feeling
like
I’d
completed
a
long
day
of
intensive
chef
training.
I
came
along
with
two
fellow
Muay
Thai
mates
and
we
visited
off
season
so
it
felt
like
we
had
a
private
with
Thom.
It
was
a
joy
to
experience
her
humor
and
animated
personality.
The
program
is
very
thorough
and
requires
you
to
pay
attention
because
you
will
be
lightly
quizzed
and
no
mercy
will
be
taken
when
it’s
time
to
perform
haha
Our
day
went
like
this:
1.
Pre-chat,
cookbook
review,
dish
selection
Coffee
and
breakfast
snack
was
offered
2.
Visit
to
the
market
and
ingredient
explanation
including
how
to
find
it
in
your
home
markets.
3.
Back
to
the
school
for
a
review
&
product
tasting.
(We
also
picked
up
these
delicious
street
snacks
in
town.
We
did
NOT
go
hungry).
4.
Individual
ingredient
prep
5.
Time
to
cook!
We
first
watched
Thom
then
cooked
at
our
stations.
There
was
even
a
little
contest
of
“hottest
chef”
judged
by
Thom.
I
won!
:)
We
ate
together
sharing
plates
as
a
group.
The
cooking
part
got
a
little
intimidating,
but
there
was
support
throughout.
The
dishes
we
made
were
yum
woon
sen,
red
curry,
and
tom
yum
soup.
Our
class
ran
a
bit
long,
but
Thom
accommodated
as
needed.
Overall,
it's
a
worthwhile
class
that
left
me
with
a
genuine
sense
of
achievement.
