Muai was an AMAZING teacher and guide! My husband and I did an afternoon class with Chef Muai and another couple. She welcomed us in Thong Sala and took us to the market to get fresh ingredients, explaining all about what she was getting and why during the process. Then back at her BEAUTIFUL hybrid indoor/outdoor cooking studio, we were welcomed with three beautiful pots of tea, some snacks, and then it was on to cooking. Muai answered so many questions and was an incredibly kind, gentle, and thoughtful instructor and coach. We recommend her 12/10!!

It was an amazing and fun day starting by a local market shopping and learning about the different ingredients. Muai‘s cooking academy is at a beautiful location surrounded by palm trees. The kitchen areas were great with all the coconut wood equipment and different stations. You receive all the recipes and a cute gift in the end! All in all a wonderful day, delicious food and Muai was the sweetest person.

Amazing cooking class! Muai is the best! We went first to the local market to buy fresh ingredients and muai explained about all the vegetables and weird things we saw. She happily answered every question we had. Her cooking place is so pretty and she thought about every detail in beautiful designs. The food we cooked was so good and she thought us so many things! I really recommend this cooking class. Totally worth it!

We had a great time at Muai’s cooking class! My husband and I made the massaman curry, pad thai, cashew nut, Tom yum khun, papaya salad and morning glory. Each dish was absolutely delish! Muai starts the day at the local market to buy the fresh ingredients and then takes you to the cooking school which is in a beautiful location and is indoor/outdoor. We were greeted with 3 different types of tea, made and ate our meals then were served the best sticky rice I have ever had with coconut ice cream! I highly recommend this class!

A fantastic morning! Using the local market to collect the fresh ingredient was an experience in itself! You can select your own menu from a wide range of dishes, working together we prepared 4 dishes, Muai is ever so nice, teaching and chatting, making us feel ever so relaxed, the time flew by! This is a great experience, lovely way to spend the morning learning about Thai culture and food, a must do! We made fresh shrimp spring rolls, Pad Thai shrimp, chicken red Thai curry and a fried rice - then Muai surprised us with the desserts, it was honestly unreal. We also made the coconut milk from scratch too! Brilliant 😀

Thank you so much Muai for a fun afternoon of cooking. We loved you cooking school location, so gorgeous! The markets were fascinating and the meals we learnt to cook were delicious. We enjoyed the opportunity to chat with other travellers and sit at a communal table to dine, Thai style 😊 We also loved the coconut wood bowls, cutlery and serveware you had available, some great souvenirs to walk away with so we can remember when the food is long gone! We had an amazing time with Muai! We met at the market where we bought the ingredients and Muai told us about different Thai food flavors and herbs. At arrival we got to taste some herbal tea (which was delicious!) before we started cooking. The directions were very clear and well explained. She even took pictures of us cooking to send to us later. After the class we got a little gift and she send us al the recipes which was really nice!

so good! I just can recommend this class it’s fun, delicious and you learn a lot about Thai -food! Muai is such a lovely person. She’s taking you to a local market to buy the ingredients for your dishes and explains all about it, then you arrive in her cozy cooking school and start to prepare the dishes you chose before & after that you’ll sit down and enjoy all the delicious dishes!
