Not bad but not worth the hassle. Finally had the opportunity to dine at Mahasan, renowned for its challenging reservation process. Honestly, the beef menu impressed with its tenderness and perfect preparation. However, pondering whether the experience justified the hassle, I'd recommend it for those eager to showcase a reservation achievement on social media. Yet, if the goal is simply enjoying a good steak without the stress, there are comparable options in BKK at a similar price point. The standard menu offered affordable prices and good quality. On the flip side, the hot plate/ selected cut menu,the prices are the same as normal steak houses. Overall, the flavors were enjoyable, with highlights like the mashed potatoes and beef stew. The beef tongue stood out as one of the best in Bangkok. The clay pot rice with sliced beef received an average rating. Regrettably, the service fell below par, lacking friendliness and attentiveness from the waitstaff. Thank god, no service charge. It's a shop where you have to make a reservation to know what time you'll get it. There is very little parking. It's very difficult to find parking. But the food is very delicious, the meat is very soft, every menu item is delicious.

The restaurant served really good beef dishes. I ordered 4 menus, the price turned out quite reasonable. I liked beer fat clay pot rice but hanger is the real surprise! It’s very delicious. However, the beef tongue is quite soso for me.

Exceptional steaks especially the Chateaubriand. The beef tongue is the best kept secret. Only Thai beef is used. Very popular and difficult to book.

It’s been a while since my last visit. Overall the food is still very good and the service is still need a lot of improvements. Booking can be difficult but always worth it. Honestly it’s not the best steak house but it’s good value and very good steaks. If the steaks has more charcoal would be perfect. Get the egg yolk with the steaks. Skip the desserts, it’s horrible. Owners are very friendly but staffs are a bit confused. I don’t think they charge corkage but they also have good selection of wine available.

Exceptional steak house in BKK. Reservations made 2 months in advance but it’s worth the wait. They have many cuts of beef available and they’re all good. My favorite cuts so far are the bavette and rib eye. Besides the high quality meat, they were perfectly cooked to the temp we ordered. Beef tongue and beef carpaccio is a must order as well. Other dishes like baked rice and mashed potato with beef jus accompany the meat really well. Pricing could get expensive depending on what you order.

A must for beef lover. Top notch seasoning and texture. Worth the long reservation queue and the price. Due to the fact that we had waited for two months to be here, we ordered one too many dishes 😆. The shop kindly packed nicely for us to take home. Staffs here are very knowledgeable and their recommendations are all good. Depends on what you order, you might end up 500 THB per head or 1,500 THB per head. Pick carefully and pace yourself 😋😋
