With the mining site is an interesting folk museum. The museum tells a story ( in English too) how past time Thai people mined iron ore from the site soil, smelted the iron rich ore and forged weapons, swords and other similar tools from the iron. From a souvenir shop can be bought a sword to be taken home. For those who are interested in Thai history and culture the place is recommended to visit.

This place is a historical place of iron retrieving place in the old times. Anyone who are historical fans worth to pay a visit, there are steel fishing activity where you can retrieve the steels with magnets with fishing rods.

An one of a kind place where this special steel (lek nam phi) can be found. According to Thai history, people are believe that this type of steel is a good luck charm.

Conveniently road off the No.11 highway leading to the site. Souvenir prices vary according to size and materials used. Check design and prices from different nearby shops before buying. Only one eatery with simple menu of drinks and meals.

Garden was beautiful, the storytelling was interesting, but there isn't much more to it then a ten minute stroll .

ในสมัยโบราณเหล็กน้ำพี้นิยมนำไปตีเป็นพระแสงราชศัสตราของพระเจ้าแผ่นดิน จึงมีความเชื่อว่าเป็นเหล็กศักดิ์สิทธิ์ที่สามารถแก้อาถรรพณ์ อยู่ยงคงกรพันและป้องกันภูตผีปีศาจได้เป็นอย่างดี จึงเหมาะสำหรับ ผู้ที่ต้องเดินทางไปในถิ่นแปลกที่อยู่เป็นประจำ และผู้ที่ต้องพักค้างอ้างแรมในสถานที่ต่างๆอยู่เสมอ 12 สิงหาคม พ.ศ. 2542 มีการบูรณะปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์โดยรอบบริเวณบ่อเหล็กน้ำพี้ และสร้างพิพิธภัณฑ์พื้นบ้านบ่อเหล็กน้ำพี้ สำหรับนักท่องเที่ยวและผู้สนใจได้เข้าศึกษาถึงภูมิปัญญาพื้นบ้านแบบโบราณ มีการจัดแสดงเครื่องมือเครื่องใช้โบราณและจัดแสดงหุ่นการถลุงเหล็กแบบโบราณ เป็นโบราณสถานซึ่งมีความสำคัญ เนื่องจากเป็นแหล่งเหล็กกล้า ที่นำมาทำพระแสงดาบตั้งแต่สมัยโบราณ เดิมมีอยู่ด้วยกันหลายบ่อ มีบ่อหนึ่งเรียกว่า บ่อพระแสง ห้ามมิให้ผู้ใดขุดเหล็กจากบ่อนี้ โดยสงวนไว้ใช้ทำพระแสงดาบสำหรับพระมหากษัตริย์เท่านั้น และ บ่อพระขรรค์ เป็นบ่อที่ในสมัยโบราณมีช่างทำพระขรรค์ถวายพระมหากษัตริย์ ได้นำแร่เหล็กน้ำพี้จากบ่อพระขรรค์ไปถลุงทำพระขรรค์ ภายในบริเวณมี พิพิธภัณฑ์บ่อเหล็กน้ำพี้ รวบรวมหลักฐานต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับประวัติเหล็กน้ำพี้ โดยจัดแสดงและจำลองให้เห็นถึงกระบวนการ ขั้นตอนการตีเหล็กน้ำพี้ ตั้งแต่การขุดแร่เหล็กน้ำพี้จนตีเป็นดาบ ที่มีความแกร่งและความคมเป็นเลิศ ดาบน้ำพี้จึงเป็นอาวุธคู่กายของขุนศึกและนักรบไทยในสมัยโบราณตลอดมา พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้ เปิดให้เข้าชมฟรีทุกวัน เวลา 08.00 – 17.00 น.
