Being near a shopping mall or a city center is not enough. Before any other criteria it is the interest and the respect of the customer and what is really scandalous in a grand hotel that is ultra modern or not it is not to take into account the interest of the customer. To warn that there is no hot shower during 2 days that after paying the stay during the reservation without leaving the choice to accept or not and without showing the smallest commercial gesture it gives an idea of the Spirit of this house. But to each one to make his own opinion by reading me. I returned in January 2018 because I saw that he did a lot of work. although the lunch is correct the reception is even worse than the last time. Staff too young and without any experience of hospitality and apparently makes fun of any interest to the customer. I would put 0 if it was possible. I formally advise against customers who expect a quality service. Although it seems not very expensive the price / quality ratio remains deplorable. For my never again.

One of the worst experiences. The bed is tough, the AC doesn't work, the toilet is clogged, and the staff isn't service minded. Recommend to go to other places with similar prices for better rooms and service quality at the same prices.

THIS HOTEL IS OLD AND IN NEED OF AN OVERHAUL. IT'S RATED AS A 31/2 STAR BUT I ONLY GIVE IT 1 STAR. THE REASON FOR THIS ARE MANY. AMONG THE TOP REASONS ARE: THE BED WAS LIKE LAYING ON A ROCK WITH A VERY THIN MAT OVER IT. NEVER DID FIND AN ENGLISH SPEAKING CHANNEL ON THE TV. THE FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST HAD THE PERSONALITY OF A BURNED OUT LIGHTBULB. WHEN HAVING THE "FREE" BREAKFAST I WAS GIVEN WHAT THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME. I DON'T LIKE SUNNY SIDE UP, I LIKE OVER EASY. I ALSO DON'T LIKE HOT DOGS FOR BREAKFAST. THE COFFEE WAS NOT TO MY TASTE. ALL IN ALL, IT WOULD BETTER TO GIVE PEOPLE A MENU AND LET THEM ORDER WHAT THEY WANT. I REALIZE THAT IS NOT HOW IT'S DONE IN THAILAND BUT MAYBE THEY NEED TO CONSIDER IT.

Facilities are basic. You get what you pay for. The WIFI didn’t work for us sadly during our one night stay. Unfortunately the fitness centre and pool was not open because of “covid”. Every single hotel I’ve been in, in Thailand has their facilities open apart from here. Breakfast is standard, eggs, juice, bread. better than nothing, so can’t complain. Great location as next to the Mall.

Not the best but clean, tidy, nice staff, cheap and a swimming pool. Not easy to find the pool but it's on the rooftop of the building next door.

You have to login to the WiFi, which barely works. Asked for a taxi to the nearest bar. We were taken very far away, to a place it was very hard to get back from. We later learned there were bars around the corner. I calmly explained this to the receptionist. He laughed and said he didn't care

I always stay in this hotel when I visit Korat and that's been happening almost annually since 2005. Inexpensive and clean and close to The Mall. Ideal for me

Oh the S.K. Pavilion is a gem in Khorat town With its pool so refreshing as I lay my towel down After a day of walking around the shops and sights Nothing feels as healing as the hot bath at night The rooms are all so comfy with their smart TVs Close to the malls and 7-Eleven, it's so easy The food they serve up daily hits the spot just right Washing it down with drinks in the light But the evening is the best part, let me tell ya now When the music's playing in the grand ballroom The staff here are all smiles, they treat you like family Any request I had was handled graciously So next time I'm in Korat, you know where I will stay At the beautiful Pavilion, to end the day The hospitality shines through each and every door At this lovely hotel, I’ll be back for more!

800b walk-in rate. Place is old and tired. Newer and cheaper hotels nearby. Agoda won’t allow online payment (credit card or Paypal) and won’t let you cancel even though payment is at the property (odd) 120b small beer in room!

Handy hotel, nothing special. Some bedside sockets would be nice as I like to charge my phone beside my bed :/ and there wasnt any. Not many options for breakfast but the pool is decent. Directly across from a big mall which is handy to go and kill a few hours. Not much happening around the hotel in the evening if your looking for a bit of craic!

K.S. Pavilion is very clean and centrally located but we canceled our booking because there was no swimming pool as advertised. Sad as it was in a really great area close to everything.

👍 My favourite Japanese buffet in Korat. You order from the menu so everything is fresh. They have menus from 350 to 999 Baht, all offering good value. It's very popular so come early or late, or expect to wait. Pictures from 500 Baht menu with focus on sushi and similar, but the menu also includes ot...
