We
had
a
disappointing
experience
staying
at
Villa
4D.
This
began
before
we
had
arrived
when
we
were
informed
that
a
mistake
had
been
made
with
our
booking
and
that
for
the
first
night
of
our
stay
we
would
have
to
stay
next
door
in
villa
4E.
This
turned
out
to
be
a
huge
hassle
and
really
ruined
the
first
day
of
our
holiday.
Communication
about
when
we
would
need
to
vacate
4E
was
poor
and
then
we
felt
very
hassled
to
get
out
as
the
next
set
of
guests
had
arrived.
There
were
a
number
of
staff
there
but
were
offered
minimal
help
carrying
our
bags
down
the
stairs
and
into
the
next
property.
We
were
offered
a
bowl
of
fruit
in
compensation
for
this
hassle.
Unfortunately
villa
4D
was
as
downgrade
on
4E
so
that
was
also
disappointing.
It
is
extremely
poorly
maintained.
Stained
sofas,
pealing
kitchen
cupboards,
various
things
broken
throughout
the
property,
poo
from
a
family
of
bats
who
live
in
the
roof
all
over
the
patio
and
on
the
window
in
the
master
bedroom
which
was
one
of
the
main
features
of
the
property.
It
is
also
the
worst
furnished
self
catering
property
I’ve
ever
stayed
in.
None
of
the
rooms
had
wardrobes.
Instead
there
was
a
cheap
plastic
hanging
rail.
Some
of
the
rooms
didn’t
have
drawers
either,
instead
a
cheap
plastic
shelf.
We’re
talking
worse
than
ikea
quality
here.
So
there
was
essentially
very
little
space
to
store
anything.
No
hooks
anywhere
to
hang
a
towel
even
and
generally,
no
thought
had
been
put
into
making
guests
stay
comfortable.
No
nice
pictures
or
decoration.
Horrible
basic
bowls
and
utensils
in
the
kitchen.
A
couple
of
the
bathrooms
were
also
very
grim
and
many
had
a
horrible
damp
smell.
Broken
mosquito
nets
on
the
window.
Horrible
bedding
on
the
beds.
Thin
scratchy
towels.
Generally
absolutely
nothing
which
made
it
feel
like
a
luxury
stay
despite
which
we
were
expecting
for
the
huge
amount
of
money
spent.
The
property
had
many
shortcomings
but
undoubtedly
the
worst
feature
was
the
horrendously
hard
beds.
There
were
3
adults
in
our
group,
all
used
to
staying
in
Asia,
where
beds
are
normally
harder,
but
none
of
us
have
ever
experienced
anything
as
uncomfortable
as
this
before.
We
raised
this
issue
with
the
lady
managing
the
property
and
received
an
extremely
rude
response
from
the
owner,
asking
us
not
to
bother
her.
Apparently
no
one
else
had
ever
complained
about
the
beds
before
which
I
find
pretty
unlikely.
We
were
all
waking
up
at
6am
each
day
with
horrible
back
ache
from
the
beds
so
they
really
did
impact
upon
what
was
supposed
to
be
a
relaxing
holiday.
What
really
topped
it
all
off
for
us
was
on
check
out
when
they
counted
through
every
single
horrible
bowl
and
plate
in
the
property
to
make
sure
none
was
missing.
We
almost
had
to
pay
100
baht
for
a
cup
before
it
was
uncovered!
On
the
upside
the
location
and
the
view
is
absolutely
stunning
and
we
really
enjoyed
the
resort.
This
however
has
nothing
to
do
with
the
standard
of
the
property
which
was
in
our
view
completely
unacceptable.
Our
friends
were
staying
5
doors
down
from
us
in
an
absolutely
beautiful
house
and
they
were
paying
less
than
we
were.
I
would
thoroughly
recommended
the
resort
but
strongly
suggest
that
anyone
considering
it
does
not
stay
at
any
of
the
sunset
Emily
Villa
properties.
