We did the elephant and white water rafting tour in the same day and would thoroughly recommend. We were actually the only two people who signed up so got a private tour for the same price! The elephant sanctuary was lovely and the elephants seemed very happy, they were mostly left to their own devices rather than being coerced. We were given a delicious lunch and some relaxation time before starting the rafting. Safety was a clear priority and we felt very safe with our guides. The rafting was so much fun. A range of very exciting rapids and more relaxed sections joking with the guides - we even made a brief stop to grab a fresh papaya from a tree. 10/10 would recommend

Superb, safety-oriented operator. Had a great day, even though the water was very low. We saw elephants in the river!!! The food was also lovely and the driver was extremely safe too.

We had a wonderful white water rafting trip. It was the first rafting trip for my daughters and we all loved the thrill and adventure. Safety was top notch, both on the boat and from a team of highly-experienced kayakers on the water. There was also a lot of joking on the raft which made it a really fun day. We’re hoping to return in the future.

Absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. We're a family of 4 and took iur kids (14 and 12) white water rafting with Siam River Adventures. We felt completely safe the whole time - the guides are so experienced you just get to completely enjoy the experience. We really loved learning how to steer the boat properly and trying out the techniques before the really big rapids kick in at around 5km in. Everything is centred around fun - with lots of time to jump out of the boat and swim or swing from the ropes on the banks to jump in. The traditional thai lunch and refreshments afterwards were delicious too! They have a photographer at various points along the route so while you don't take your camera with you, you still get some epic shots of the day! These are all sent via email at the end of the day with no extra charge. Loved it so much - we're already planning our next trip!

We did 4 days of kayaking and spent the nights at the jungle camp. I highly recommend staying in their rooms directly on the river. We had a fantastic experience! The kayak/raft guides are fun and set great safety on the river. Water levels were low and there are lots of rocks and the paddling is a bit more technical/creeky. I felt safe and well taken care of. My boyfriend did not feel comfortable in a kayak for the middle section (class 3+/4) and instead used the inflatable kayak, which was also super fun. Lunches and dinners were delicious home-cookes Thai food especially prepared for us. We also did a waterfall hike with a lovely guide and had the best day in the forest. The transport to and fro the camp was also super smooth. We want to go back at higher water levels.

We got the treat of our lives with the 3-day (2 nights) Mae Taeng special. The service and guiding was fantastic. I can’t recommend this company enough. Authentic, with integrity, caring, employing local guides, professional and friendly.

Great day out led by a group of very kind, professional guys who ensured our safety from the get go. Was about an hour and a half drive out of Chiang Mai city centre with hotel pickup and drop off included. Once our group of 4 got there we were welcomed by all the guys and given a huge lunch before we started - meat and vegetarian options. After that it was helmets and life jackets on and in the boats. We went during dry season so the water was at its lowest but it still gave our group a great kicking. Plenty of rapids and drops so I couldn’t really imagine how extreme it must be during the rainy season so bear that in mind! Saw about a dozen elephants, lots of locals swimming in the river and such beautiful views of all the surrounding nature. Wish I’d brought my phone on with me but couldn’t risk it being damaged. I accidentally fell in at one point after a steep drop and my instructor immediately jumped in after me to make sure I was safe so it was clear to all of us that they didn’t mess around when it came to keeping us all safe even when the water was at its weakest. After about 2-3 hours of cruising down stream it was over , snacks and drinks waiting for us and a quick shower off before being driven back to our hostel. Such a fun day and totally worth the money especially considering other companies are offering the exact same activity but for nearly double the price.

we had THE MOST BEAUTIFUL experience one could ask from the jungle in thailand. we chose to do the elephant experience (literally super ethical but at the same time engaging), and the one day trekking across the jungle and crossing the mountains tribe villages (definitely challenging but 100% worth it) all coupled with one night in the jungle (best stay on the river surrounded by the wild but super comfy). Bigger plus all the staff members (all locals) are incredibly nice and welcoming and the food delicious and fresh (trust me i am italian). Hopefully we will come back soon to try the other activities!

We spent 2 incredible days in the jungle : one with elephants, then we spend the night in the jungle, and the other day rafting. I recommend to take at least one entire day with elephants, in order to spend time with them and listen to our guide (Pit) who is really explaining you all you need to know about them ! (Thank you very much !!!) Also sleeping in the jungle is an amazing experience. All the team is very nice and doing everything to make you enjoy your stay. Unforgettable experience.

We had a great day out with Jack, Don & the Siam River Adventures crew. Family of 4 with a 15 & 12 year old and everyone came away with a smile and excited stories about the day. We started with the elephant sanctuary in the morning, then a delicious Thai lunch at the launch camp. White water rafting down the Mae Taeng river with the family and river guide, Don, was a mix of excitement as we navigated the rapids, relaxation as we coasted down quiet sections and fun as we swam and purposely tipped - ask for your guide to do the ‘helicopter’! All done with good safety briefings and safety support crew for our novice rafters. Siam organised all connections. We had a blast

👍👍 Small location. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here there is a larger Decathlon store not too far away near Central Festival.
