I LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! As a misplaced Texas, I laughed at the sign that said, "Authentic", but turns out it really is! The ribs and okra are to die for. We came back the following morning for brrakfast and were the only ones here. The French toast is incredible. So is the egg sandwich with REAL AMERICAN sausage! The frozen margarita is incredible. Very highly recommend!!

Went to The Jumping Bean this morning to watch the Super Bowl. We had pre-booked a big table for our party. Jumping bean was packed. It was all a little bit chaotic. People were issued with numbered stickers for each bill & yet Bills were still wrong at the end of the match. Drinks were great but the servers got every food order wrong for our table. Breakfast burrito came out as a taco, bacon taco came out as a chicken taco etc. I waited until after the initial rush to order an omelette (which was on the menu & no I am not a vegan). I thought it ambitious that the server didn’t write it down but just repeated it to me & then herself. Half an hour later it still hadn’t appeared. They said sorry no record of it, will make now - what did you order…? At this stage I was 3 Bloody Mary’s in & I’d passed the point of being hungry, so thanks but no thanks. At no point was I rude, did I roll my eyes or cross my arms. I was watching the game & just wasn’t hungry at that point & was firm that I didn’t want anything else. There was then problems with the bills.. one of the bills for our table was sent back 3 times to be corrected!!! It was all pretty chaotic. This is the 3rd time I’ve visited the Jumping Bean & 3/3 times there’s been a problem with the food. How many chances do you give a place? Great atmosphere & I had a great time with my friends. Not once did the owner come to our table to see how we were or to apologise for the mistakes, between us our table spent a lot of money. I have nothing to benefit by writing a less than perfect review for this restaurant. I love supporting local businesses which is why I gave this place a 3rd try. Reading the owners responses to the other less than perfect reviews, shows that she cannot accept a bit of criticism from paying customers & maybe make improvements. I wish her luck with her restaurants on the island.

A lone one star out of 5 for this Texan joint. I made the mistake of eating mid-afternoon so was the sole customer - it should've been easy to satisfy me. Ribs arrived after 20+minutes but were cold(!) so I sent the plate back. Perhaps their bbq was not fired up at that time - or perhaps they were microwaved from frozen... The waitress said she would change them but returned 15 minutes later with the same plate of ribs. The sides of mash and beans were now cold(!) and although the ribs warmer, they were dried out and stringy. I only stayed to eat most of the meat as I was so hungry but barely picked at the mash and awful green beans. I came here after reading rave reviews so really hope this was a one off fail. They knocked 20% off my bill but I still feel ripped off. Sadly, I won't be back. I don't normally leave poor reviews but I think the owners need to know.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic Tex-Mex BBQ on Koh Samui. Every dish was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. The burgers, quesadillas and BBQ ribs were all cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice. The prices were very reasonable, and the drinks were cold and refreshing. The highlight of the evening was the frozen margarita, which was especially delicious. The desserts were also excellent, especially the banana pudding was super delicious. We visited this place three times during our holiday and each time we left with full bellies and happy hearts. Highly recommended!

The Jumping Bean is such a fun place in Samui !! The staff is incredibly sweet and make you feel right at home. They have great frozen blended margs, and the Thai spicy version is fantastic. I am from America, and still appreciate the kitschy magic that is this place. I loved it so much that I bought a shirt (obsessed w this logo 🤣🤣🤣). Def stop by !!

Great atmosphere, food is Really good! If you want a change from all the phad Thais you eat go here. Ribs were amazing!(my wife from Saint Louis and she said these Texas ribs are better) I ordered the chicken fajita which were amazing aswell. And if you got some meat leftover in your plate the owner French bulldog will love to get a piece.

Came here craving some tacos and Tex Mex after 3 weeks in Thailand, tried the brisket taco, pulled pork taco, fried fish taco and the fried chicken taco. The fish was my favorite but all were good, my gfs favorite was the brisket. They have a good taco Tuesday special w frozen margs, going back for $10baht wing Wednesday today. Service was impeccable, Thinza was so sweet and helpful and the owners and their beautiful little puppy (Pico) made our day. Can’t wait to try the wings! Thank You!!! Edit:came back wings are fire, honey siracha were our fav, thai buffalo good too. Thanks again

A slice of Texas in Samui: scrumptious, genuine, quality food at great prices (and best smoked margaritas!) Just had the most fabulous smoked spicy Margarita EVER!! And the fillet steak with this place's own sauce (can't define it but it was absolute perfection) was superb. Same for the mini ribs and in the case of one of us, the big main course ribs. Just scrumptious and everything you ever wanted from a Texan smoke house rib. The place has a relaxed vibe which, just like the food, has a lot to with the owner, Adina, Texas born and bred, and her lovely mother (who does the cookies – part of a dessert our 9-year old daughter said was to die for – so we all ended up tasting the cookies!). What can I say – the place has a soul!

was recommended this place by my hostel manager because I am a Texas native. I have got to say this is one of the best BBQ spots I’ve been to in my life!I had the chicken taco, brisket taco, burger and Mac n cheese and it was so delicious I ate it all. It was so good I came back for dinner later that day and got frozen margaritas, wings & dessert. The hospitality made me feel like I was back at home, we ordered the cookies and ice cream and were given a slice of grandmas cake on the house. It was so lovely! One of my new favorite spots in Koh Samui! Oh there was also live country music when we went for dinner!
