Lovely, quite and fresh. Its a large park, so you need to have a vehicle to get around. We used a local guide to show us around. They spoke good English, were informative, helpful and polite. Guides can be arranged through the park's website.

Arrived here and was told to install a stupid app to pay. Even the staff don't like the app because they have to explain to each person how to use it. It is that complicated. Also, if 50 people arrive on a bus then each person needs to register, which takes too long. The app is not updated to the fees at the park, so it says 200 baht on the app but the park charges 400 baht for foreigner. That being said, why should foreigners be charged who are married, retired or work here. Lastly, the park facilities were not even open such as the souvenir shop, information office near the waterfall was close. So why pay 200 or 400 baht when inside it is not available. Never go here again!

Khao Yai National Park is a great place to visit, the place was worth to drive 2hr. from Bangkok. The time I suggest to visit is in the morning during December, because there will be fog while you are driving. The climate and the view during the drive was fantastic, but when I visit the Haew Narok Waterfall was closed. If I have a chance I would like to visit again. I suggest that if you has a bike riding up on the morning will feel so good.

What an excellent park. A number of attractions to see along the way. A couple of the waterfalls were restricted for safety reasons bug still a great day out. All the monkeys were the highlight for me.

Was an amazing experience. It is not like African Safari, and you need to be patient in terms of animals. I highly recommend getting there at dawn if you want to see animals. We were lucky enough to see Gibbons, porcupines, monkeys and more! Most of this in the morning/evening. We hired bikes and explored. Was so fun. The trails are a real adventure as well. Leeches can be an annoying problem, but there are many trails which do not have them. Trails are a great way to avoid crowds, but they can be long and difficult, you need to be somewhat fit to enjoy it imo. There are also good facilities at the visitors centre if you want some civilization.

Dual pricing for foreigners!!! 850bt for what? TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!! We came in at 8 am only saw a few deer, a couple caterpillars and some ants. Not even any birds. Should have gone to have a nice lunch instead with that money.

I had the chance to come to this park in May 2023 for work related matter and it was one of my best trip ever. The park is very clean, very pristine and very accessible. I think they kept as much of the flora and fauna untouched as possible while providing easy access by vehicles. We can drive into deeper part of the park and saw wild animals roaming freely. We saw deers grazing and resting, hornbills flying and resting, python crossing the road at night, golden neon bug, porcupine, and others. The cafeteria serves some good food too, with views that are speechless. i also saw a family of deers drinking by the river. All in all, wonderful place.

Beautiful place for a few short hikes. We spent an afternoon and evening there and had time to complete two waterfall trails, one cliff trail and their night safari tour.

We had an amazing day here with a guide. The national park is beautiful. Huge, spacious and filled with amazing wildlife to see in their natural habitat. Very well maintained and you can see local elephants, deers, antelopes, scorpions, owls, etc. I would recommend to visit with an experienced guide that can help you spot the wild animals. I would definitely come again to visit the other spots as 1 day is simply insufficient.

Khao Yai is supposed to be Thailands number one National Park. When you put the 2 words next to each other. Thailand and National Park. It doesn't make any sense. Thailand has a terrible history of cruelty towards animals and destruction of rain forest. This has to be one of the most overrated and overpriced tourist attractions in Thailand. There is still some rain forest and jungle left in the National Park. Its just been divided by sealed roads running throughout the National Park. Not what you really want to see in nature. Especially when Thai people are the worst drivers in the world. On average there are around 20,000 road deaths per year. You can understand why its nearly impossible to see any wildlife inside the National Park. You can understand how scared the elephants must be with out of control Thai drivers speeding up and down the roads in there pick up trucks. That is why you dont see any elephant in the National Park. Probably early and late afternoon when the park is close. Thats when elephants can freely cross the road without being hit by an out of control driver. The National Park is the usual Thai scam to trap naive foreign travelers. Always charge the tourists 10 times what the locals pay at the gates. Tell them that there is plenty of wildlife freely walking around the park. Thailand is going to lose on a lot of overseas business in the future.

Definitely a to-go-place for someone who enjoy viewing & embracing nature 🍃 Recommended to go only if you’re driving. Drove up to a field with tall grass. Great vibe, only con is the weather, hot! 🔥 A lot of things to visit, if you’re lucky, you will get to see animals along the roadside.

Clean, friendly area. Good place to spend a day at least or two if you have time enough ⏳ and 💸. Park closes everyday at 6.00. Plan the hikes accordingly given the wet trail and leeches (get adequate spray/socks). Souvenirs are too costly inside as usual. Night Safrai was just okay because there were hundreds of jeep all going one after another - I don't think so anyone would get to see any big animals during safari.

It is very fresh in rainy season. In the early morning .You can park a car at the main gate and make a leisure stroll on the side way of the road toward the hill.
