Great secluded place to relax by the pool. The covered outdoor seating areas were nice and our kids loved the clean pool. Almost everything was great here but our room must have had a septic tank problem because the bathroom stunk up the room, even with the door closed, so bad it made it hard to sleep. This was the room by itself away from the others next to the eating area. The cleaning crew came in each day and did something to make it smell better but a couple hours later the stench was back.

This place is far from the main town, night bazaar and bus terminal. There's not much amenities around the place so you have to book a taxi or tut tut to go to town which costs about 150 - 200 baht depending on your bargaining skills. There's not much choice of food and we ordered chicken curry and tom yam. We were disappointed that chicken was so hard as though it was taken directly out from the freezer and as a result we didn't eat much. We booked a "deluxe bungalow" but we don't feel as though we were living in one, because when we were about to take a bath, there was no shower gel provided. When I approached the management, the reply given to me was "this is not a 5-star hotel" ... such a discouraging and unwelcoming answer. I feel these are basic necessities regardless of the star of the hotel. Be prepared to carry thousands of Thai bahts as this place does not accept credit cards. Massage services are pricey and only so-so in terms of quality. This place is only good if you need a quiet sanctuary to recuperate, to read a book or to surf the net though wifi is rather slow.

Lovely place out of town by about 10 minutes tuktuk ride which cost us 150baht. Owner's Tony & Patty were very helpful, even providing us a couple of maps on different days to show places of interest which we walked to. They also hire motorbikes, bicycles & do tours, but we did not do this. I loved the well cared for garden & pool. My husband & I really enjoyed our stay here & would recommend, especially if you want a quiet, relaxing stay, where you can do many interesting hikes & tours not too far away. Chiang Rai night bazaar, day market & the Elephant Valley Sanctuary were the highlights.

Had a wonderful stay. A warm welcome by Patty. We stayed in the family suite and the bed has to be the most conformable in SE Asia. Nice breakfast, beautiful cared for gardens and pool area in lovely surroundings. Room and all areas very clean and well maintained to a high standard. We could not recommend enough.

This is a lovely place. Small with nice garden and pool. They have a limited but tasty menu. Breakfast is different types of eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, toast, ham. The Beds ultra comfortable and shower strong. About 2.5 miles into Chiang Rai. We walked around the area for a couple of hours which was interesting. They offer a lift into CR 3 times a day for 30bht but you have to get a taxi or tuc tuc back. Would definitely recommend and would come again.

We had a great time staying with Toony and Phet. Coming with a 2- and 4-year old we certainly had some specific needs which were totally catered for. The children loved the place and so did we. The room was clean, spacious and very convenient. The grounds are very beautiful, it is a little piece a paradise. Toony was so helpful planning our day trips. Phet was very sweet and providing a very nice breakfast. Having our own transport was really nice, allowing us to easily explore the area. The bike tour was great, we would totally recommend it. We felt the price was great for what you get. Feeling sad that we left, we hope that also others can enjoy this precious spot in what might be the most beautiful part of Thailand.

Nice place if you have children or are Dutch, otherwise very awkward, not relaxing with children swimming and yelling and throwing stones. Lovely Thai lady and her daughter. Horrible, threatening man who owns it. Overpriced food. Warning not to rent the motor scooters.

It's a really nice place to stay. Lots of nice places you can visit are nearby. Like the white temple, blue temple, white buddha. The staff is fantastic very kindly. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are also very clean and nice. Great experiance!

Charming location very near to Chiang Rai, next to the highways. Beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, good cuisine, cheerful lady of the house. Very fair price.
