We were visiting the floating market and couldn’t find a taxi to go back to Bangkok, the staff was so helpful and arranged us a transportation back, refused to take money, negotiated the price for us and hosted us in their lovely back cafe looking directly to the river. I was really touched and taken aback by their extreme kindness and hospitality although we wernt even staying in the hotel. I can only recommend this place and will make sure to stay there in the future. Thank you infinitely

If you like to take it slow, Amphawa is the place. The best thing is this place is so close to Bangkok with easy access on the highway. The market is bustling on the weekends. If you are not a crowd person but wanted to feel the vibe, I recommend arriving on Sunday mid morning or lunchtime and by the evening you will pretty much have the whole place to yourself. The only drawback is that nothing opens on Monday unless it happens to be a long weekend. Most restaurants along the canal shut down around 9 or 10 pm. And a couple of them have live music. Thanicha Resort is right in the middle of action facing the canal. Great location with friendly faces. Clean room with the right price.

Incredible hotel in amphawa!! Cozy and romantic. Great location, right in amphawa very nice design and atmosphere. Good breakfast. The staffs are all very friendly and informed us well. We stayed in the duplex room and enjoyed the room very much.

This hotel is fabulous! I would love to recommend to everyone. I came on a weekday when the market was closed but found its peaceful and my kids enjoyed seeing all around. The room was a good size considering in the old house market area. Everything feels clean, simple and nice. Khun Jeab, I believe she is the manager, is very kind and helpful. She is one of the people who stands for service with heart. I really appreciate and enjoy the time at this beautiful hotel. I will be back if I have a chance.

A compact and cozy resort. 1. The interiors are clean and elegant 2. Staffs are kind and polite 3. The restaurant is just located at the canal side as you’ll have a fabulous breakfast time there.

Extremely well situated and located. Kind, cheerful staff. Room is basic, but had all the essentials, so it was perfect for our evening stay. Nice little koi fish ponds near reception desk. A no frills hotel, and a clean, pleasant one at that.
