Great place to spend a few hours. In addition to 2 high observation levels with great views there is a historical museum tour around floors 2 and 3. Currently admission is free but may change in the future. Free parking for motorbikes and cars, although cars require a reservation. Location is 8 minutes walk from Pak Nam BTS and 30 minutes BTS from Asoke. Observation level on floor 23 offers 360 degree views with several binoculars (10 baht) for more detailed views of river, coast and city. Floor 25 offers similar views with additional information on Samut Prakan and Pak Nam. There is a guided tour of what is referred to as the museum which is a detailed history of the development of Samut Prakan from 19th century to present day. This takes almost 2 hours and currently is in Thai only, although the many guides do explain the salient points in English. As mentioned by others, the garden has several dinasaurs and a historic steam train. There are not too many places to eat around the building, although there is a local Thai eatery very close to the BTS on the left (east) side approaching Pak Nam. All in all, excellent place to visit.

I highly recommend the Samut Prakan Learning Park & Tower. Suitable for children, students, families, adults, locals or tourists. - Free entry (for now; limited time only) - Very organised and clean - Staff are friendly and ready to help - 23rd Floor: 360 degree view of the city - 25th Floor: Exhibits on Samut Prakan community projects, Buddhist monks, Thai King's contribution to the well-being of locals - 1st to 3rd Floor: Guided Tour and Multimedia Exhibits about the history and development of Samut Prakan (entry every 20 minutes from 10:00am to last entry at 3:00pm). Maximum 25 people per group entry. Depending on the group, the guide for each section will use either Thai or English. Very well-designed. Must visit! - Outside: Replica dinosaurs and old train carriages at the park Travelling on BTS between Bearing station to Kheha station is free for everyone. If coming by BTS, get off at Pak Nam station and walk 10 minutes to the Tower. Open every day (10am to 5pm) except Monday.

But has moved to another location Therefore built a garden and an observation tower with a learning center in the same place The view tower is about 179 m high. The surrounding is a relaxing garden. But still, the fort is a symbol around the garden. All forts have a total of 7 forts, some of them are not yet completed. And during the epidemic, the observation deck is closed and not open to the public. This observatory is amazing place! You can easily get there by BTS, yet I think it's rarely visited by foreign tourists. I was the only one during my visit. The view from the top is very beautiful, there is also exhibition about different things related to Thailand and there are huge statues of dinosaurs around the tower, which makes this place even better, especially for kids 🙂 Idk if this is only temporary, but admission is completely free! We tried to visit the City Observation Tower on Monday Sept. 5. Upon arriving shortly after 9am was told it didn't open until 10am. Annoying, but we decided to go for coffee and come back at 10am. Got back just after 10am and was told the Tower is closed on Mondays! I tried to explain that the information available on Google etc is incorrect and needs to be changed, but was met with lots of smiles and head nods but no apology or further explanation. The Dinosaurs outside were all we were able to see! Very disappointed.

Funny thing. From the rider’s perspective: I didn’t find the entrance or visually appearing the parking lot of this place. Drove around the territory of this tower and entered firstly the temple where the ways went to the dead ends or the police station. The third attempt I dedicated to going back home. Well, there is one more chance in fourth attempt. In future.

It seems it opened in August 2022 and until I saw a Richard Barrow's post about it, I had no clue it even existed. This place definitely deserves more advertising and more tours in English! If I understood well, they do one tour in English every Saturday at 12 PM during 1.5 hour. It doesn't seem possible to visit the main 3 floors of exhibitions alone l as the tours are timed with interactive videos. To be honest, to visit 100% properly those 3 floors would deserve 2-3 hours to be able to watch all videos, play the games and read all the content. I hope they propose longer tours in the future. It covers good historical content, economy, culture, food etc. Very entertaining and full of interesting points. The 360° degree view was amazing and I preferred this view vs. Iconic Mahanakorn because Samut Prakan area is actually more fun to each from up: full view on the river, small houses and so many temples! There's more than skyscrapers view to enjoy! The garden with dinosaurs is a plus and a good spot for snacks and breaks. Don't hesitate and go visit it!!

Free admission. We also joined the free English tour on Saturday 12noon. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The tour was informative and interesting, I can definitely recommend it. The view deck on the 23rd and 25th floor were very scenic too. Lovely view of Samut Prakan and Chao Phraya. This place is just 8 minutes walk from Pak Nam BTS Station. I can recommend for friends, family and children.

Well worth a visit especially with young kids with combination of life sized dinosaurs, steam train and for adults 360 panoramic views from mouth of Chao Phraya back towards city central. Well organised, good staffing. Dinosaurs especially impressive up close. Easy to get to, short walk from BTS Pak Nam. Only 4 stars at this point since seems not fully developed as yet - no food on site and more scope for information etc

I accidentally visited here. Anyway, it is over my expectations, not just only view point on the tower. I would recommend you to choose the Samutpakarn historical trip through the storyteller. It is so impressive and informative. The evolution of Samutpakarn changes is expressed and demonstrated beautifully using graphical and artificial materials. You will see how has been Sumuparkarn changing upon time? Note that foreigner visitors are needed for translator because stories were in Thai language. Anyway, you can enjoy through pictures instead. Lol. You have to book the ticket. Each round trip is opened with limited visitors. For the view point, it is really great and wonderful place. You can see 360 degrees of Samutpakarn. I have more 50 pictures but uploading picture is limited with 50.

"Great 360° views." Are you tired of rooftop bars in Bangkok by now? Then you should go up to this observation deck. It is the best place to see the view of Bangkok and its surroundings during the day. You will learn about the Chao Phraya River and Thailand's amazing scenery and history. I would also recommend this place to families with kids. Not only the great view, but also the dinosaur and reporter monuments on the tower site are a lot of fun. fee: Admission Adults 60 Baht Children 40 Baht *There is a free admission period to celebrate the opening. Parking: Yes, free Other: Open Tuesday through Sunday 10:00AM~5:00PM Last admission 4:30PM Closed on Monday It would be more enjoyable if there is a guide of what is in which direction and landmarks in the east, west, north, south and west!

Cool tower a little off the beaten track. Entrance was free, but a charge may come back in future. Tower provides good views of Samut Prakan and Chao Phraya. There is a Dinosaur park at the bottom and also a Skywalk from the BTS which will be perfect once %100 completed.
