I would rate 10 start is I could. Dinner stars at 7 pm and you pay around 520 b per person for a buffet type dinning which includes vegetables, northern style dishes with meat, rice, fruits, water and tea, all of it refillable. Around 8 pm starts a performance, they have around 15 small dance shows from all around region accomplished with real life music. All of them enjoyable and in the end dancers encourage visitors to join them and learn some Thai dance moves. How nice it is! They would also take a picture of you and your mates, print it in a nice frame of Chiang Mai Cultural Centre and suggest to buy it for 100 b, picture is nice tho. I really love that place, here is some tips for your visit: 1. You should book your table earlier, to get best place on the floor by the stage. 2. Come earlier so stuff would take picture of you with no people on background. Recommend that place to everyone who would be interested in local culture and spend their time at its best.

A night with food and cultural show, very nice place to go to experience Thai culture. Show would start indoors while we enjoy the food. Once dinner is over, the show was moved outdoors. Food was very delicious, a mixture of curries and authentic cuisines. However, most seats are on the floor, caution for people with back and knee issues. Only a few tables and chairs are available.

Save your money. Completely made for tourists. Food was average and the show was actually bland, no talent at all. For tourists is ok if you wanna say you did something "traditional", if you are interested in real tradition and stuff you can skip it.

A restaurant that serves traditional chiang mai food. The food menu is delicious and traditionally served. Interestingly, after eating, tourists will be treated to a traditional dance performance that makes tourists relax and add insight into Thai culture.

This place is apparently opened on Friday nights in Chiang Mai and you normally need to book in advance but we were lucky due to a last minute cancellation. It was 690 Baht per person for a buffet meal which was traditional Chiang Mai culture food and it was amazing and delicious food. And the cultural dances were beautiful and interesting to watch and I like that they told the story and history behind each dance in English and thai. If your in Chiang Mai for a short time and you want a cultural experience and some delicious food and your here a Friday night then book a night here 😁

A very nice evening. We had good food and was refilled often with the food and drinks. The performance was phenomenal, told following the history of Chiangmai. The show was both indoor and outdoor. Highly recommend for a nice evening out.

Our Thai friend took us here for a late lunch at around 3pm so there were no other customers. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food is delicious. I especially like the sausages! A must try :)

Lonely planet highly recommended this place, however after reading the reviews I decided not to order the food which turned out to be the right decision. (Btw there’s a street market nearby where you can grab something before or after the event) The performance was interesting, a great way to learn about dances from different ethnic groups. A bit simple and repetitive in the end, but overall entertaining for family and tourists as you get the chance to go on stage to participate in the end.

Having dinner with traditional dance. Food is just ok, taste not Thai enough but they keep fulfilling your food so service is good. Performance is a bit slow, it’s worth to experience it but only once.

Really enjoyed the dinner/dance night. It was fascinating to watch young people carrying on the traditional dances. My husband even enjoyed it! Dinner was yummy, good value for money! Great for kids too. I was a little distracted at times by people talking at the tabled area but tuned it out.

One of few 'khantoke' dinner & dance venues. Catch traditional dance and Northern food fare here. You will not be disappointed here as its awesome value! Can seat on traditional mats up front stage if book early, air-con indoors now but outdoors for larger group. Live instruments, costumes, lively atmosphere & chance to participate too. Sticky rice, two types of salad dips fried chicken can be refilled with lemongrass drink / paid beer. A must to-do visit on one of Friday 'night market off days', or short walk from Central airport mall/dinner market next door. Great cultural experience not available anywhere.

We were there for the kantoke dinner / show. We had a very pleasant evening, good food (all you can eat), very attentive staff. The show was nice as well. We paid around 500 bahts, as we bought the ticket online through an agency.

This was a really great experience. You check your shoes as you arrive, which I personally loved. It starts with a Northern Thai dinner, and they bring you more food if you eat it all in the first go-round. Around 8 pm the dances begin. It's a full hour of dances while seated, then they kindly usher you out to watch the last few dances. There are vendors to sell you northern Thai goods on the ways in and out. The whole experience was expensive by Thai standards, but totally worth it.

I took the opportunity to experience the Khantoke dinner here. What a wonderful evening it was. The food was plentiful and delicious. Given we selected the basic set menu I was impressed. A khantoke is a low table, the diners sit on the floor around it. I however am physically unable to sit as such for a long period. Thankfully they offer 'western style' dining at a table with chairs too. I think we enjoyed around three and a half hours of music, dance, and displays. These included traditional Lana, and Lep dances, along with a Thai martial sword dance, and a war drum exhibition. All accompanied by a condensed historical explanation of the city, and its peoples history. Great value and a 'not to be missed' event.

We had a lovely evening at the khantoke dinner. Booked last minute online on their website for a Thursday performance and there were still spots available. In addition to the regular meal, they also brought a separate kids meal with fried egg over fried rice, fried chicken, and a clear soup with pork and quail eggs. As others have mentioned, the performances all have a gentle pace but we found them all interesting and beautiful. The performance and meal were both outside and the atmosphere was really pleasant and relaxing.

Unique experience, a rather interesting tourist experience. The performance was good, although I find it a little slow. Food was ok. The fried banana was amazing! Worth a visit if you want both dinner and something cultural. It will be a pleasant evening.

What a great evening! Easy to book online. Food was yummy and you get free refills! My favourite was the curry. The show was very nice. Good to see some traditional Thai dances. Great dinner entertainment Highly recommended and would go again!

I got food poisoning and lost a whole day of my trip from the food at the khantoke dinner here. The show started much later than the listed starting time. The floor seating was very uncomfortable. The food smelled and tasted unsafe to eat (as we later found out it was by going to the hospital). The performers didn’t even look like they wanted to be there. Overall the worst experience that we had in this otherwise wonderful city.

Good place to enjoy Chiangmai Thai culture but food is just so so, if You’re Interested in culture can visit 1 time. In order to enjoy food or beer, no recommend

The food was tasty and plentiful. Service was great too always offering more and more food! Price good too. We had a group of 30+ Chinese tourists sat on the tables behind us making constant noise the entire time which ruined the experience for us, it is a shame the staff did not ask them to be quiet. The music and dancing was entertaining to watch. Nice introduction to Chiang Mai whilst not being mind blowing.

One of the shows that you should join to know more about thai's traditional. The food is so so, not too special since we are in the same agricultural area. And again its undeniable that Thai people is so friendly.

Called... Chiangmai culture centre =CCC. And it's absolutely more than see here. One of the best place to arrange special Gathering, group dinner, special occasion and or celebration and even wedding party or anniversary. Both private or public session can be book and arranged accordingly. Menu up to your request... Applicable for big group only. And most importantly the culture show during dinner... And this is amazing Thailand. Their khantoke dinner served special food that definitely give you sense of Thailand thru your palate. Traditionally cooked and served in beautiful arrangement that made you feel special about this place and been celebrate here as important person. This is how they sell their concept by not changing any of the local traditions and elements to make sure we tourist have enough of Thailand here. Highly recommended and I will definitely come here for more soon... Since my last events are not enough for me.

Unlimited food refills. I love Hang-lé so much. Best performance and beautiful dancers i have ever seen in Thailand.

Touristy and a little kitschy - you definitely won’t be learning much in-depth about the Lanna people or hilltribe cultures of northern Thailand - but an entertaining evening nonetheless. You’ll see several dance and music performances, including a sword dance and some cool costumes. You’ll even be invited to join the dance on stage in a big group at the end. The food was decent, not super amazing or flavorful, but portions are big and seem to offer unlimited refills. Worth a visit but don’t expect to necessarily learn much

This was such a wonderful place for a meal and to get some old Chiang Mai culture with music and dance. The food is wonderful and never seems to end! Be aware that this is a shows off place and if you are squeamish about walking barefooted into places like a restroom bring some socks. There is limited table seating and most customers sit on cushions on the floor. I don’t say this to scare you off because you really should visit this event. I say this to propane you for the evening. The chili sauce is wonderful but spicy! Nothin bad to say about the food, event ir their staff.

I expected a wonderful show as this is the cultural center but show was underwhelming and it became boring after some time. Food was just ok. Nothing that I have not tasted before other than it was served on khantoke.

Interesting dinner and cultural show. We were served our food while comfortably sitting on cushions. The show was okay with colorful costumes and simple dances.

Worth seeing while you are there. Unique exprience. All you can eat, watch some shows, albeit a bit similar to each other and boring at times. But the experience as a whole made it worth it

Nice folklore program and all you can eat selection of meals ( chicken, beef, some veggies) ,was kind of below my expectation for the taste, program starts 2000 for 45 min inside and about 15 min outside ,can park inside the venue area.

Great place to have traditional Khantok dinner with a great performance line up of the various tribes in northern Thailand region. One point reduction as there is room for improvement would be the waiter staff should be more attentive to guest request and provide speedy feedback. I believe it must have been lack of training to the staff. Hope the management team will take this positively and improve. Nonetheless I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
