Installation art with regard to beads which are a small piece of glass, stone, or similar material, typically rounded. Very knowledgeable. I just found out that beads have been used as currency, in meditation and prayer and to denote social status or power.  Nice staffs. Free admission. Suitable for all ages. Worth spending time.

This is a complex named Andaman Cultural Centre Krabi. It consists of:- 1. Andaman Beads Museum 2. Andaman Art Museum 3. Beads Production Building 4. Exhibition Hall 5. Learning Centre 6. Sourvenir Shop Entry is free. You need at least 2 hours to explore everything. The Beads Museum has many exhibits of beads. You will be amazed how beads were made in ancient times to depict a face. It is difficult to describe the beauty and delicate presentation here. You need to see it eg the changing colours of a crystal ball. The Art Museum comprises of 3 floors with many art composition. 3D's, abstract, modern, water colour, some have illusive effect etc. This is not my field and I may not describe them well. You can be immersed in the beauty of some paintings. The collections are mainly ASEAN but there are paintings from USA, Italy etc. The Exhibition Hall has further art display, some erotic in nature. Here you can see more abstract, modern and 3D's. There are too many things to see here and its free. In its compound there is a dinasour and some big cats.

We stumbled upon this lovely cultural center and were pleasantly surprised. The exhibits are well kept and great for some photo opportunities. It’s free entry and the staff are very friendly and pleasant. We particularly found joy in the random giant T-Rex sculpture outside.

Great place for a rainy day to visit. No entry fee and quite well made exhibition about the history and making of local art. Also everything available in English. Art museum is directly next to it, which is a good combination.

(Translated by Google) The place is clean, well maintained, there is a supervisor in every building. There are many works of art by artists who leave many works, wanting to keep good art and a museum that is a learning center for the generations to come. Museum of prehistoric beads found in Krabi province which has been traced back to Silk Road. Not enough info for ancient beads though. Beautifully decorated with modern beads. There's also an art gallery with local artists. Plenty of parking spaces. Not so normal in Krabi, it's free entry.

it’s way bigger than other cities cultural center. they have variety of beads artworks and they were all beautiful , worth visiting. however, I do not recommend this as a big part of your Krabi travel itinerary. if you are interested in Andaman culture, and have enough time to visit and look around, you’ll enjoy this place. it took me less than an hour to look around all exhibitions. boat cafe in front of museum didn’t opened.

It was amazing and I am quite sad that there were so little other visitors. I can only recommend this museum! The small exhibition about beads is the most visually beautiful exhibition that I have visited in my life. I went through all the art exhibitions as well. There are local and international artists. Some is paintings are abstract other arent. It is a very nice mixture. The entire museum is for free what is just crazy!

Made an impromptu visit to the Andaman Cultural Study Center after spotting the colossal dinosaur while passing by! Took the opportunity for the kids to enjoy some playtime and captured a few memorable photos.

I would recommend this center to anyone visiting Krabi. Highlight of my days in this town. Spent 3 hours learning about culture and history about beads, and appreciating Thai's fine arts, and I wished to spend more. The arts museum also has a room for kids and interested people to learn about artwork of world-class prominent artists. Such a great effort to keep this place so well-maintained and free for all.

Andaman Cultural Study Center is divided into beads museum and art gallery. After visiting the beads museum, one can enrich the history of beads, variety of beads and the making process. World class museum specialized in beads that hardly can find elsewhere. The exhibition rooms are spacious too. The art gallery displays the art works of many local artists which depicting the uniqueness of Thailand.

Museum is free to enter and Really immersive lots of light shows which makes the experience of beads more like a modern art gallery. They turned beads into art with an extensive selection to see. Lots of the information was written in English too. A wide range of art but the bead museum was the star attraction.

Recently opened, modern, clean (and free). Well presented cultural history, interesting bead display. Local displays by artists. Nation gallery behind is yet to open. Wish we'd had more time or been able to revise, recommended if wet, too hot or exploring Krabi town.

This is a free and fun place to visit. It was informative and had a lot of nice backgrounds set up for cool photo opportunities. There is also an art museum on property. Some rooms didn't have air conditioning on, so it could still be a little hot in there. Overall, it's fun, free, and informative.

Great museums (beads museum and art gallery). It's sad to see it rather abandoned and not visited by too many people, so please do go there, it's really enjoyable and the entrance is free of admission! Krabi is not only boat trips and river walk!
