Down by the river Great hotel right in the midst of the Indochina market and thus right up close to the river. We've stayed here a few times, but this time we took a river view deluxe room and were rewarded with a beautiful Mekong sunrise. Lovely wood all over the place. The place was fairly busy but we only heard a few, mainly because the clientele seems to be older and thus quieter. That's good because the terrazzo floor and rendered walls are a bit of an echo chamber. The deluxe room was well equipped and had a balcony with a river view but no chairs. It was very clean nd the linen spotless and fresh. Didn't try the TV but it seems to have a long list of channels with a list in Thai and English. In general the English level is pretty good for Isaan. The wi-fi was good too. 8 out of 10 for breakfast with filter coffee and a mix of Western, Thai and Chinese dishes. The rice porridge was excellent. The dining room is on the 6th floor and thus has a supper view. The hotel has no meals except breakfast but the riverside restaurants like Black Bear Cafe and Nut Pob are not far down the track. Great hotel for shopping at the markets

Not friendly people in reception. I had to prove to them that I had paid and done the booking. They didn't check their records. Breakfast was ok and the restaurant on 6th floor is ok with perfect view of the river. Location is also very good and there are good restaurants in the area with very affordable priced food. Sad that the people in the reception made this stay sour for us

' Magic on the Mekong River ' - is what I found, during my stay at the Magnificent Riverfront Hotel in Mukdahan ! I spent a couple of extra bucks $$ and went for a large river view room, with buffet breakfast upgrade and it was money, correlatively, well (very well) spent. The sunrise and sunset outlook to start and end my day, complimented by the people watching opportunities afforded by being in the centre of the Indochina market, means that location felt virtually unbeatable. In the terms of the room itself, besides being super spacious, the bedding, seating, work station, Wi-Fi, TV and bathroom, were all 100% on point (see my YouTube), too. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, across many cities, countries, and continents and my experience here, was one of the best so far .. @CoffeeChillTV

This is a very nice hotel. I stayed 2 nights in a superior room on the 5th floor. Very nice river view. The room was clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the river, one double bed and one single bed, fridge, kettle, desk, TV with many channels (no English channels), and beautiful wooden furniture. Bathroom was small but functional. The restaurant is on the top floor, and is only open for the buffet breakfast (included in the room price). Breakfast was average, with the usual fried rice, stir fry, fried eggs, porridge, toast, and watermelon. A few tables are outdoors overlooking the river. Parking lot was large and easy to maneuver. Staff were all helpful and a few of them spoke English. Would definitely return.

A good hotel with a location overlooking the Mekong River, where you will be greeted by friendly staff at reception. Fairly large rooms with the equipment you need, and the bed worked well. Breakfast is served on the top floor, with a nice view over the river and the surrounding areas. Parking is done inside under cover.

Loved this hotel because you have a view over the Mekong River towards Laos. Riverfront rooms are about 1200 baht while those without a view range between 500 and 800baht. The hotel is also close to great restaurant's and a night market.

Check in was great, nice friendly smiley services. Free car parking and east to find. Great room, huge and well presented with river view balcony. Super location ... down sides, no table and chairs on the balcony and breakfast was a bit bland.

It's located right at the Indochina Market and Mae Kong River. The room rate was about 800 THB and it worth what we paid, clean and well maintained. Enjoy the river view at breakfast on 6th floor! Highly recommend!

A decent hotel near the river and on the street of the Indochina market. It's a nice hotel and well maintained but a bit dated. There is secure and covered parking. There was also a nice buffet breakfast on the 6th floor, with a nice river view. Basic rooms were 800 baht with the rooms with a river view considerably more.

Great hotel. Nice and clean. Over the top of a mall. But really like it. On main street. Staff were really helpful.

It's OK as my rating suggets. The rooms are a little gloomy and old-fashioned but clean and comfortable. We were not in a riverfront room and there was no view. You can see the river from the top floor restaurant.

Great quiet place to stay A bit difficult to get there - front entrance have to drive through day Market, back entrance through gate with no sign (have to know which one to open). But worth to search for. Daytime busy with day market in front, night time peace and quiet. Rooms spacy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast room top floor with nice view over river. Close to some attractions.
