Okay, it's time I share the secret. The best restaurant in Khlong Nin! I have been lucky enough to live in the area now for a long time and try most of the restaurants around and this is my favorite by far. I have had various dishes here and everything is fantastic. The quality, size of the portions and value of the food is amazing. When I bring my friends to try it, they also rave about it. It's definitely an unassuming and underrated gem of a restaurant. The food is so fresh that often the staff go to buy the ingredients from the local market after you order! Everything can be made just how you like - spicy or not! Leila is the best chef and nicest person ever! Some of my favorites include the massaman and green currys, side of broccoli and morning glory, chicken satay, duck fried rice, yellow noodles with seafood, honestly it's so hard to choose! Amazing place to eat breakfast or lunch. Great food, good prices (according to other places - around 50% of the other's prices) and very nice service! Not mentioning cute kittens walking around the place :)

Extraordinary Thai Food and wholesome people. We went there a couple of times, in particular in the evening, since the restaurant was closely located to our resort. It was definitely among the most delicious Thai food places! They also serve pieces of fruit for free as dessert :)

Good and tasty food but very very slow service. I went there with my family of 11 adults and 5 children. It took 3 hours altogether for us to get our food and the cook forget my dish after waiting for three hours. Then waited again 20 minutes for my food.

It's definitely the best food in the Klong Nin area and perhaps the best in Koh Lanta. The Thai dishes are amazing, rich, just perfect. If you try the papaya salad, you'll know what I mean. The service is also excellent with nice and honest people.

Fantastic place! In my opinion the best thai food at Koh Lanta. It taste like real thai cuisine, the only one in this area. Massaman curry soup, Pad thai, Pineaple salad and Morning glory - I’m in love with this dishes at this place. Moreover, the owners are really nice and hospitable. I highly recommend!!

we saw this nice restaurant first from the street on our first evening. today we finally managed to eat dinner here. the owner is reall nice and spoke good english. the food was very amazing and with many vegetarian options !! we had the pad thai, deep fried tofu, yellow curry, fried rice chicken, morning glory and vegetable spring rolls. everything was fresh and delicious! the atmosphere was relaxed and there was old western music in the background. the owners were really friendly and helpful! we also got some free fresh pineapple after our meal :) we really recommend eating here !!

My girlfriend and I had a nice lunch here today. We were greeted by a really nice family, they were very attentive and cooked the food fresh for us. The two thai noodle dishes were presented neatly with pride and style and tasted great. Would definitely recommend!

Probably the Best restaurant in the area. Thai dishes are perfect and „medium spice” is adequately hot :), all served very nicely by lovely people

Very lovely decorated and tidy place with great food, big portions and low price. They even brought us water with the meal, which I haven't seen elsewhere. They make the best shakes. Both banana and mango were amazing! Love their lovely cuddly cats ;) We have been to a lot of restaurants on Lanta, but we keep coming back here. I would not suggest using their toilet unless you are ready to live with that image for the rest of your life :P

Nice and calm restaurant but the food was a little tasteless. You can look at the kitchen from the restaurant and its very unpleasent to look at the chef make a big achuuuu in the mittle of the kitchen... The waitress was sitting down to relax and not a big service for the guests. First and last time at AEC - sorry Kennet

Update 230224 Back again. Tried some spring roll, garlic fried white snapper with garlic fried rice and morning glory. "Top notch food" as last time a couple of days ago. Served with ice cold beer. VERY friendly staff ❤️ Wonderful little family restaurant just ca 300m north of Lotus Klong nin. Wide range menue. Outstanding food and lovely staff Recomend ❤️❤️❤️

The food here is really yummy, the owner is really lovely as well. We are vegetarian and they have a whole menu with lots of options and also Vegan. I would recommend coming here and also the mango sticky rice is delicious. We stayed in Koh Lanta 5 nights and came here three times

We absolutely love this place! We went 4 times and would have gone more if we had stayed on the island longer. The prices are cheap, around 80 baht to 100 for a dish. Our favourite dish was tofu stir fried red curry. And they also do some unique tofu spring rolls. All very yummy. Definitely go and check out this restaurant.

We had Tom Kha Gai, Panang & Massaman Curry. While the soup was ok, the curries tasted of rancid peanuts. Of course this can happen. One bad peanut is enough to spoil the whole dish. But the overall taste was just not good. We had way better for less money. The ice for the drinks seems to be homemade (unusual nowadays, danger of diarrhea!) Place is really(!) dirty. Prices are steep for the given quality. Feels like a ripoff! We had lots of street food in Thailand over the last 3 weeks. As long as the food tastes good, we’re not picky. One of our worse experiences in Thailand…

We had a delicious dinner with perfect spicyness 🌶️ Before cooking our chili preferences were asked. Unfortenately we forgot to take photos. We ate: Red Curry with tofu ❤️ Fried tofu with garlic and pepper and little bit of chili ❤️ Mixed fruit lassi 💛 Everything was so good. You should definetly visit this lovely little 🇹🇭 restaurant.

Very pleased with my visit. Ordered a curry that was tasty and they kindly gave me some slices of watermelon free of charge. Affordable prices. Quiet and friendly spot. Nice music being played in the background. They have the sweetest cat and it was so heartwarming to see how much they love and care about him 🥰

Service was a bit slow but the value for money was excellent. You won't have the same experience as a Kindee but I would come back to this place in a heartbeat.

Wow the food in this place was amazing! The place is very humble so if you want a fancy place to eat at this is not the place to be but if you want great thai food, try it out. The Spring rolls, Pad Thai, Massamang and Yellow curry was the best I have ever tried. You won't be disappointed@
