Pretty nice place, I really enjoyed their Georgian menu which is pretty hard to find in Bangkok. Really reccomend this meat bread pie with pomegranate, the bread is soft and not at all soggy and the meat is totally delicious. The others like bean stew and the mix dips is also pretty good. Particularly, the hammus. The portion is fairly small though and they are on the high side price wise. You also don't have a lot of beverages options other than canned drinks and alchohol. Would be nice if they have Geeek coffee. The place is also really dark... especially on one of the side. It's so dark that reading a menu become difficult even in broad day light.

This place has genuinely good quality food, good service and laid back decor, but food portions are very small, prices are high, there is no bang for the the buck. On top of it, my draft beer had no gas, like it was left open and all bubbles went out. What annoyed me most was coffee, it was this kind of Turkish/greek type with coffee residuals on the bottom, pretty much tasteless for a price, which is charged similarly to fine dining Michelin star establishments around the town (Elements at Okura for example).

Simply amazing - from affordable food and drinks to joyful atmosphere! I’ve had one of the most satisfying meals in a long while πŸ˜‹! Granted, my friend and I did go absolute ham on the menu, but we couldn’t resistπŸ˜… Also, big wine list and selection of craft beer was a pleasant surprise! 10/10 - would recommend checking out with different diet preferences!

This is a great greek and Georgian restaurant. We came here for lunch and loved the food. It is a bit pricy, but to be expected for foreign food. We will definitely come back and try more dishes.

Avra is an experience! The decor inside is gorgeous to say the least. Really sets up a perfect aura for you to feel like you're in Greek restaurant. We ordered loads of dishes (4 of us) and each one of the dishes were insanely good (I wanted to order more dishes tbh). Other than Greek dishes, they have quite a few Georgian, Russian, and even Uzbek dishes. We tried a mix of food and our stomachs were happy! When we entered, the place was bustling with people: kids, families, groups of friends, and even folks in their lonesome just enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Definitely a must visit if you're in Bangkok and want to experience something other than Thai food! I'm definitely coming back here again!

Nice atmosphere with Mediterranean decorations. Exciting to try since it is rare to find Greek/Georgia dish. The reason I gave 4 stars because the beverage is so pricey. 90 Baht for a can of coke (remind me of Scandinavia) We ordered 3 plates 1. Lamb kebab with yogurt sauce. Tasty dish, recommended. (350 Baht) 2. Giant colorful dumplings This dish is similar to Chinese Xiao long bao, only the dough of this dish is thicker. You can order dumpling for lamb, meat, salmon, cheese and potatoes. (80-90 Baht per dumpling) Better eat when it is hot. 3. Flaming cheese (480 Baht) The most pricey one, they really lit flame on the cheese ! Better eat when it is hot.

We were craving Georgian food, which is so hard to find around the world, and Avra definitely didn't disappoint. High quality ingredients and delicious food, friendly service (the Filipina waitress working here is so lovely) and the restaurant itself is very clean and beautiful. Great place for good food, for a date, or catch up with friends. Will come back!!

everything we ordered was super good. we especially liked the octopus which was cooked to perfection. we ordered the dips for the appetizers, the pizza was very interesting, something i’ve never tried before and the beef stew tasted very homemade. we’ll definitely be coming back to taste more of their extensive menu

Great Greek food in a beautiful restaurant. The pastes are delicious and the meat platter great for sharing. Good wine selection as well. I went here a few times and the quality was always top notch. My friends also tried the baklava. And judging by how fast they finished it I think it was good as well. Itβ€˜s a great place to spend a whole evening. Very European flair. And a very international crowd.

Excellent dinner! We had a group of 9 and they did an amazing job serving us. Octopus was fabulous. Desserts were all delicious and not too sweet - my favorites were the honey cake and russian cookies. Great restaurant to get a bunch of things to try!

Absolutely amazing food, and excellent service by Anna and her team. The menu has a broad selection of dishes from several different cuisines, not just Greek - there is a huge selection of Georgian, Uzbek, Russian and Ukrainian dishes. For us these were the highlight as it is a taste of our culture and the quality is fantastic.

Excellent Greek Food that foe our first time celebrating there. Service: Excellent and like the good hotel. Atmosphere: The restaurant decorated were amazing πŸ‘ and look really interesting for someone who like to have a good moment foe pictures. Food: Quite similar like Lebanese for BBQ plates. As per we used to visit other shop before. But the food quality were outstanding and really good for cheese πŸ§€ lovers like us. I was asked the staff there what is the recommend menus here as per our first visit. They knew that were ordered some plate already. Therefore we were ordered more as they said. Fortunately the recommend were really great πŸ‘. Drink; Big list of beers and house wine were excellent choices for us too. Hope to be back there again.

Nice restaurant, delicious food, good service and excellent atmosphere. Parking is in the hotel, almost next to main road, very convenient. A little pricy compare to portion size in my opinion. But worth for experience.

Delicious! My favorite part was that they have a HUGE variety of vegetarian dishes. However, some of the dishes felt a bit under-seasoned and had less flavor. Also quite pricey. But overall, good food and good experience.

I am reluctant to share how much I love this place because, at least for now, it is a little bit of an insider tip. From outside, this restaurant, which is on the side of the Lotus hotel, is hardly noticeable, but when you enter, the lovely atmosphere strikes you immediately. Greek is my, go to, comfort food and in AVRA it is the best I have tasted in Bangkok. One suggestion, however - please offer a small mixed grill plate for one person so that if you are alone, you can still taste the various dishes. Lastly, the service is charming and very attentive - even when the place is full, which is most of the time. So, now I have given away my secret - enjoy!

The restaurant is located in Sukhumvit 33 and it's not too far from Phrom Phong BTS staion. The place is decorated nicely and it gives a good vibe. It's our first time to try Georgian food and we find it amazing. The staff are also so attentive and give us good recommendations about the food. We'll definitely come back again.

The menu has quite variety of dishes to choose from. Seems Acharuli is a must. Very nice atmosphere too.

Authentic Georgian food in the middle of Bangkok? Why not! Go for Georgian dishes here rather than the Greek, so nigvziani badrijani (eggplant rolls), khachapuri (cheesy bread) and khinkali (mega dumplings). The adjarian khachapuri is proper and top notch. Home made cheese is the right sulguni texture, and packs a good punch. khinkali, especially the meat ones are great soup dumplings. Vego khinkali were great, cheese one if we had to pick. Salads and eggplant rolls were authentically full of garlicky walnuts.

Very cosy restaurant with very welcoming and homey feel. Good to book a table as they are busy. Coming from the Balkans, I’m familiar with the food they offer so was very excited to try. Some of the dishes we didn’t like but some were great. Special mentioning of the tarama starter (which was lovely), the octopus with truffle puree (it was absolutely delicious and sooo tender) and the fish of the day, which was lavraki in the their menu. Their Shopska salad, which is actually Bulgarian not Macedonian, is definitely overpriced for what it is and for the size. Good wine too. Everything is on the heavier side, as it is the food from this part of the world, but totally worth the visit and super yummy. They also have pizzas, which we didn’t try. Will go back for sure.

Greek, Georgian, Russian, and (I'm probably missing a few) foods. Tastes great and gives you the adventure of trying new dishes.

The food was ok. The meat we ordered are good but the sauce and veggies are a bit limited. I was expecting grilled tomatoes and pickled onion on the side. I've tried Mediterranean food in Thailand but this is not my fave.
