Thoroughly enjoyed the matcha experience from being greeted and shown the various varieties available, watching the relaxing crafting process, and of course drinking it! The balcony seat was very chill, had outlets and good wifi, and a cute mini fan. Great place to unwind, work a little, or do nothing.

One of the best matcha places I’ve been to and loads of different matcha to choose from. The barista was patient to explain their various offerings. The place is small but not too crowded. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Love this tea shop. Simple but cool design. Good tea and nice aroma Hojicha. Strawberry Daifuku was not good, the red bean paste was too sweet and the mochi dough was thick and not soft.

Excellent Matcha tea experience!! There are great varieties of matcha and other tea alternatives, and their brewing strength levels available in the shop that you can be advised by the staff. As for my friend and I, we selected matcha with the creamy texture and oat milk to be added. Our matcha lattes came out to be the perfect blend!! The perfect cup of matcha latte that I’ve ever had was at Ryn cafe. 🍵 Of course, you don’t take the price a serious matter when you get such a high quality product 🥲 Recommend to all the tea lovers 🥰 PS Parking is not easy in the area.

Definitely one of the best matcha places I’ve been! Very posh and serene! the matcha was smooth (no clumps) and was very nice! Good to have a peaceful rest amidst the old town’s chaos 😅🌷🍵

Current review: After getting the reply below and going back and talking to the staff, I can appreciate their apology and understand the situation was also difficult for them to handle from their end. The staff have been super courteous and apologetic about the situation and I appreciate that they were put in a tricky situation as well. I’ve updated the review to reflect not only the great tea but the great service and experience overall! Previous review: The tea I received was fantastic. The ambience and atmosphere of the place was lovely. And the service was great until the last part. I went to the bathroom and came back to find that my tea set had been cleared because two ‘foreign influencers’ (who did not purchase anything and left after taking photos) wanted to take pictures at my seat. I was offered to have my tea set put back but it ruined my experience, having things cleared because other people wanted to take photos. A shame as it was perfect besides this unpleasant note. I don’t normally like to write unfavorable reviews but it was not something that can be overlooked. Do come here for the excellent tea. But be warned you might get moved aside for unfortunate reasons.

Superb Matcha, we ordered Hobi matcha latte and Hoshin matcha latte, both taste nice 👌 if you prefer stronger matcha taste, Hoshi matcha suits you best ❤️ their hoshi matcha gelato is good as well, the staff are very polite, you can ask them for the recommended flavour 💚

If looking for a tearoom in Phuket, here is your choice. They have several kinds of Japanese tea especially matcha and sencha which they import the tea directly from Japanese farmers . Not to mention the coffee , they have many choices of beans selection on both cold brew and pour over ( hot/ice) and Tea Gelato that they use their own tea to make the main gelato line. Really nice place to visit.

Wide selection of tea options! Unique beverage selections, lots of tea, especially under the matcha section. Nice, ambient cafe, we had an elegant time out sipping on tea and coffee. Prices are toward the high-end but reasonable. Good for those less casual, more formal meetups.

I would recommend this place for Matcha lovers and Tea-based ice-cream lovers! I personally enjoy variety of teas and desserts, so I think I’m a bit qualify to leave a review here. My icecream was 160 baht, hot light matcha 140 baht, matcha latte that I chose was about 160+ don’t remember. I’d recommend latte over no milk variety because matcha itself is very intense, thick body with texture and somewhat bitter, I prefer clear green tea if i won’t be adding milk. Don’t worry the latte was only lightly sweet. The good: - Their matcha taste profile is rather detailed, which helps a lot when some is not familiar with the matcha type (still could be improved, by making the chart type between Original and Blended the same so that it’s easier to compare) - You can see how they prepare the tea very clearly - Also sell packaged tea and tea related products that you can try at home. - The icecream is heavenly! I ordered the Oku something matcha icecream and it came with 2 small scoops. The taste is intense but not bitter which I love. - Matcha latte is nice. It’s smooth and the milk and sugar doesn’t overwhelm the matcha, it only leaves enough presence to complement the matcha. - The staffs are skillful. The tea was prepared well and served at the right temperature. - They served you with free water The bad: (I’m just being a little picky here) - The staffs is very calm/serene like in their own world which fit the vibe. But I wish that they’re more enthusiastic about recommending the matcha, like be a bit more happy when talking about tea with twinkly eyes? If you want minimum contact and just want to enjoy your time non-disturb then this is perfect though.

The tea is exceptional, very authentic matcha, they have all sorts of different matcha, and I am not an expert in this as there were so many options to pick from, so I got the staff to recommend me something and it turned out great. Absolutely a must for matcha and green tea lovers, will come back for sure. Parking can be hard to find, as the spots on that road often gets filled up, I went in the morning at 9am.

The best matcha latte that I’ve ever had (that’s a big statement for a high expecting matcha loving person.) Samidori matcha iced latte is expensive for $11 yes. But its the best I’ve ever had. Pure quality! The yugana was also not bad but nit as good as the samidori for sure. Purest level of quality and taste. Their matcha cheese cake is alright. Nothing I would order again

Nice little escape from the heat and get some drinks. The inside is quite relaxing and the servers are extremely friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed my tea as it tasted more fresh with a stronger flavor, but that's how I usually like it. Glad I stopped here and I would recommend it to others as well. Drinks: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Vibes: 8/10

Great variety of matcha and the baristas are also very knowledgeable. Coffee is equally good but matcha seems to be the crowd favourite here. Parallel parking available along the street so you can try your luck.

I’m from Australia and had a lot of great matcha back home but this is hands down the best matcha I have tasted. Both the latte and the ice version are great. This is a must for matcha lovers. They also have great genmaicha and hojicha. They are also so so nice !

Many green tea options just like a specialty coffee place. Matcha latte was good for tea beginners like us. Portion is not too big. Really nice atmosphere just to sit down and get some work done.

Being a huge matcha lover, I was so excited to see there was a matcha specialty house right across from our hotel. My partner isn’t a fan, but loves coffee! I read they also served drip coffee so we went. I had plans on trying multiple different kinds and getting rid of all my baht before our flight tonight. Our experience. The moment we walked in no one said hi or greeted us. We were the only people inside at the time and they just stared at us. From reading reviews I didn’t expect this. I read that the hospitality was great here and that they were really helpful. I did not get that experience. The menu was hard to follow which is ok, I love to learn ! There were so many different types of matcha which was exciting. My partner wanted a mocha, but I seen that it was in the iced section. She wanted it hot. I asked the server is she could have it hot. She replied “no, it’s only cold. There’s a coffee house next door. This is tea.” That put a bad taste on my mouth. How rude! I know this is a tea house, which is why we came! I ignored that, and asked her what she recommended for matcha. She replied, “matcha latte”. Like? I know that. Which type of matcha ? I was looking for recommendations on what was popular. I just picked something random and drank it and left. It was very good, quality was 100% there! I just felt like they really didn’t want us in there and we’re pushing us to leave and go next door. Extremely disappointed. I’m not sure why we received that treatment when I read how helpful they were to other people. Edit: Thank you for your response. I did change it from 2 to 3 stars because I truly believe this place is awesome and I love all the types of matcha and options you have. Atmosphere is also super cool.

Offers wide variety of matcha and sencha directly sourced from Japan. Price is reasonable given the quality ingredients. They also sell drip coffee. Located at the famous phuket old town, very nice place to relax and find some cool places to chill during the hot sun of phuket.

Stop by this authentic green tea house whenever I come to Phuket. The cafe is tiny and is tugged in between 2 building next to Campus cafe (another hip coffee place). Ryn has a good variety of high quality green tea to choose from and now also serve some coffee to service those who do not drink tea just to balance out the customers who come in group. The desserts are also good and their new added menu is gelato: green tea, hojicha and genmaicha. The ice cream is so rich and creamy, I can’t stop with one.

It has different types of Chinese teas that most tea houses in Thailand do not have, like Orange Pu’er. Small, cool, and as others have mentioned cozy.

Samidori Matcha Review: Smooth Creamy Nutty very satisfying to the palette, hints of bitter that goes great with the pastries.
