Ban Oou Mosque is, I think typically for Bangkok mosques, a two floor meshid. The first floor serves daily prayers, the second is in use in Salat-ul-jumaah, the Friday prayer. I had there a nice conversation with the Imam (in the pic) of the mosque, which is typical for Thai culture - people there are very kind and often quite talkative, too - even though the Imam is from India. Unluckily my visit was not at the prayer time but, in any case, a very nice meshid.

This period, the mosque is not yet reopened due to the COVID-19. You should update its status in case you need to perform Salat nearby this area. However, this compacted mosque is so close to Shangri-La Bangkok, and Robinson, and not to far from BTS Sky train and the pier to transfer you to various tourist attractions.

From the Saphan Taskin BTS, walk towards the Bangrak bazar (behind Robinson), you'll find this beautiful and so peaceful mosque in the heart of Bangkok. I've lots of good memories with this iconic and historical prayer place. When I visited Thailand in 2015, found this mosque during Ramadan just before the iftar. They served complimentary food and allowed me to pray there. Again went to visit the mosque during the Eid ul Fitre this year, celebration of the Eid is so happening here. Lots of people gather here to take prayer and then eat together. Such a beautiful example of community gathering and solidarity in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand ❤️

The one and only mosque that we saw in Bangkok. We felt so spiritual can pray in mosque after couple days never listen to adzan. Very nice moment.

Location easy to find, walking distance from Saphan Taksin BTS stn, about 200 meter. Old mosque, small praying hall at ground level with old carpet. Abulation area on opposite road and in bad condition. Fund needed to upgrade the abulation area. Muslim graveyard beside the mosque.

Very close to the Shangri-La Resort Bangkok. Must be very old, beautifully designed and we'll maintained. If you are staying in Shangri-La Resort Bangkok this is very close for all your prayers.

Beautiful mosque mashAllah. First night in Bangkok I was blessed with breaking my fast here, they served you with food and led prayer within a good time after Iftar. Prayed Taraweeh and tahajjud there as well. May the mosque and iman with his family be blessed by Allah (swt)
