Room for price was great, staff absolutely lovely, restaurant, pool, yoga, everything. Lovely calm atmosphere, the pool area is nice with shaded area when it gets a bit too hot. The restaurant is vegan mostly, (well it is but offers an option to add chicken or fish) I am not and I still enjoyed a beautiful vegan green curry. Very helpful and welcoming owner, the cleaning lady is kind and there is a man that does a bit of everything (I think his name is Boh) who brightens every day with his smile. If I return to Samui I will be back here.

I attended the retreat for a two week period as a first timer, just two weeks before Christmas 2023 and LOVED IT!. While researching a fitness health retreat i could do i my own i stumbled on this and from all the photo's, video's and reviews i read my experience was amazing and am so happy and proud i did it!. The balance of outdoor fitness activities, yoga styles, weight training sessions, the amazing food and ambiance and community there made me feel 100% safe, free, independent and strong. What a great formula with time to socialise, be on your own, venture off, be active and explore and of course be challenged physically. The staff at the cafe and resort and all the fitness team and trainers were so friendly and accommodating. Really knowledgeable. Probably my own suggestion is that rooms are in need of some updating but i went knowing what to expect. I loved it, came home so happy and in peace. I am now thinking of when i can come back! Thank you for being part of my experience there...xox

I spent 2 weeks at VNDR and didn’t want to leave. The staff are wonderful and helpful, central location with a 2 min walk to the beach. The activities were fun and my body feels so much better for having spent the 2 weeks there. The Wild Tribe cafe was fabulous. Everything I ate was vegan and lovely. I met some lovely people on my stay and I would recommend Visit Natural to anyone looking for a reset or a detox from normal life.

If there's any part of you thinking to visit this place- do it!! I could not have asked for a better time. I stayed for 2 weeks and my goals were to loose a bit of weight but really to get fitter overall. In the end i can say I feel fantastic - balanced, at peace, fitter and happy. Every day we worked out 3 times (except Saturday which is 2 times), and had a break on Sundays. The balance of activities couldn't have been better with workshops, strength classes and outside activities like hikes and waterfall adventures. Here you are always busy and happy; sun or rain this place is amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat, I really felt at home here.

Nice place with friendly staff. The pictures are a bit outdated, so expect to find a slightly different place now. The garden/pool area is less maintained and getting a bit overgrown. The balcony's at the bungalows are now completely behind palmtrees. The wooden lounge chairs by the pool have been replaced by plastic ones and there are no books to be found in the room. However everything is comfortable and I am sure you will have a pleasurable stay. I understood there to be Yoga daily but this is only on offer if there are people joining their fitness programs, hence now only on Saturday. The Muaythai gym is producing a lot of sound all day long, so less relaxing as I hoped. (for doing a midday nap between training sessions)

This experience was amazing! I can't say enough about all the wonderful people that work there as well as the amazing friends that I made while I was there. Leo the general manager made me feel so welcome and he led us on a lot of our excursions (talk about hands on). Netta kicked my butt during the strength training workouts, but I felt like I could conquer the world afterwards. All of the Yoga instructors were so attentive. The staff at The Wild Tribe Cafe was top notch. Eric was so personable & sweet. He really made sure I had a great experience. The food there is some of the best vegan food I've ever had! Pom & Joe at the reception were also very helpful. They helped me get transfers to & from the airport. I really felt like family there. I can't wait to come back. Miss it already.

I and my girlfriend were there for one night in this resort, We are disappointed about out stay, at the arrival we supposed to get a bungalow but they told us its too small for both of us and upgraded us for the standard room. Both of us requested to see both the rooms before the upgrade but they refused it. Then once after the room inspection we realized the floor is so slippery even its dry. if someone really wanna stay here specially pay more attention for this, the worst part of our stay are WIFI and POWER CUTS. It was so gutted about the power cuts, I don’t know it is our bad luck or it might be normal for them. Also WIFI was really slow after so much buffering we decided to switch to Mobile data. Except these things from the room was okay, To be honest I won’t recommend this resort :) Cheers.

Excellent food and good program for the retreats offered. Variations and never a dull moment. Suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Diffrent styles of yoga. The team/Staff are very helpful and will provide guidance if needed. Very positive vibe all around. I love to spend some more time there. 2 weeks went by to fast.

I spent my Christmas and New Year holidays in Visit Natural Detox Resort and had the best time ever. Location: The resort is a few minutes away from Lamai Beach, but it’s away from the touristy and bustling area. It’s in a quiet location but still connected to the village. So, we are not being isolated and can still go to places easily. There are laundry, café, and restaurants close by as well. Room: The bungalow by the pool is spacious and very well thought out. It’s simple yet has everything you need. The bed is big and comfortable. There are suitable spaces in the room for me to hang clothes. The water in the shower is always hot, and the water pressure is excellent. The AC could be a little strong, but I managed to adjust it. I had a very nice stay in this room for 7 nights. Pool: It’s a small pool, but it’s good enough for leisure swimming and lounging. I also love that I could step out of the room, and the pool is already there. It’s also a great place for the yoga retreat group to socialize and hang out. Café: I love the food in the Wild Tribe Café. There are a lot of options for vegan or healthy food. Perfect for a detox. The staff in the café are all very friendly and smiley, and they remember everyone’s name. Yoga retreat program: This retreat program is “action-packed,” and I am surprised that I did it all! The variety of activities keeps my curiosity going, and I love every bit of it. I also had the chance to do things I had never done before, such as Muay Thai, breathwork, meditation, and ice bath. Leo and Netta were always cheerful and encouraging and explained the event well, which made the program successful. The yoga teachers are all very knowledgeable, and the flow is quite good. Love it. The retreat program also made it easy to make friends and bond. I definitely will stay in touch with the people I am friends with during the program!

Stop thinking about it and just DO IT! I can safely say that booking this resort was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I needed a body restart and wanted to clear my mind and get healthier mentally and physically and I was able to do this with ease at VNDR. In the 4 weeks I was there I managed to lose around 10KG which exceeded my expectations, I had never been comfortable in group environments and would always prefer to train alone and that’s where I had been going wrong all these years, it’s the people that make the difference, everyone is here for their own reasons and are always willing to give you encouragement and a helping hand. I loved the activities which usually consisted of a hike in the morning, yoga before lunch and strength and conditioning on the evening, this gave you enough time to relax and recover between the exercises and have some much needed downtime. The facilities in the bedroom are simple but clean and practical and the rooms are a great size with brand new air con units which work perfectly and the resort is ideally located next to everything you will need. The laundry service and massages were such a luxury and were so affordable and were literally just across the road, there is really no need to venture far as you have everything you need at the resort including the best food on the island.. Wild Tribe Cafe, just wow. I am not a Vegan/Vegetarian but for the past 4 weeks, I have enjoyed the most beautifully prepared foods, always fresh, consistent and the service was outstanding. The staff all knew your name on the first day and it made it feel personal, goes to show the small things make all the difference. Last but not least, The staff. All of the staff were fantastic. As mentioned previously, they took the effort to remember everyone’s name and were so helpful throughout and played a huge part in me achieving my goals. It really felt like home and it just felt right, I felt part of something. They were always so approachable and nothing was ever too much and they always helped with a smile. This has been a trip of a lifetime and I strongly recommend you book this place if you want to change your life. 🙏

I stayed here in Dec 2020 for two weeks and also completed the fitness program. I enjoyed the variety of activities available. There was also lots of time to explore the local beach (which is only a 5 min walk over the hill) and check out the local restaurants. The food at the restaurant on site was very fresh and met various dietary needs. The staff were incredibly hospitable and you felt like you were part of the community. I would certainly recommend to anyone who is looking for an active holiday, with the flexibility to also explore local sites and enjoy the island vibes.

First visit to any country in the world and this place offered a lot variety and positive energy. I am so glad I decided to stay here. The staff is kind and funny. The food was amazing - I couldn't wait to try each thing on the menu from my 14 day stay. There's enough time to explore and get recommendations of where to go on the island. Overall I am very happy to have a pleasant adventure with good people. Thank you Lander and Jam for this extraordinary experience :)

Best week ever!!! I can't recommend this place enough. It's the perfect blend of physically challenging, mindfully reconnecting, truly amazing food, friendly staff and central location. It's a balanced schedule of hikes, yoga, strength training, breathwork, meditation, massages and ice baths. You can pick and choose what you want to attend and when you'd prefer to rest, there's no pressure on you. Please come from all over the world, all ages and levels of fitness, everyone works to their own ability. It's run so smoothly, the team work great together and you can really feel their connection and that they love what they do. The general manager goes over and above to make everyone feel comfortable. I'm committed to gifting myself a week at this place 1-2 times per year.

I just spent two amazing weeks here! There is really something special about this place, from the ease of being part of a community to the care you receive from staff. The food is great with so many healthy options on the menu. My advice is to not do the all-inclusive food option because you may want to eat outside the resort, pick up a smoothie, etc. There are a ton of food options close. I loved the variety of fitness options- group hikes, different yoga classes breathwork etc. And Netta is the best group trainer I have ever seen. 💜 this place!

What a time to be alive! I’m hesitant to say just how wonderful Visit Natural Detox resort is, in case it gets too popular and when I want to return there will be no vacancies. Because return I will. Truly an amazing 2 weeks. Everything about the resort is exceptional. The days were structured perfectly to be a mix of activities and chill time. I’m not a ‘do nothing on holidays’ kind of person so it suited me perfectly. Everyday begins with a hike or bike ride or aqua aerobics, followed by breakfast, yoga then lunch. Free time in the afternoon can be spent around the pool, at the beach, having a massage or shopping. Then a strength session at the gym to work up an appetite for the amazing food at the Wild Tribe on site cafe. Of course all the activities are optional so if you are not feeling it, don’t do it. The staff are wonderful - Dloris our trainer, all the yogis, GM Leo, and all the other friendly staff. You could not have asked for a better bunch of people to look out for us. The location is perfect, the amenities great, the rooms are large and cool, and did I mention the food??? Thank you so much to the staff and my fellow tribe members. I found my people, my happy place and my perfect holiday. I can’t wait to return and rejoin the Wild Tribe.

I have just finished a 15 day retreat and feel fantastic. Although I didn't go on many of the hikes due to knee issues I found the rest of the program great. I feel so much stronger and fitter after the strength training, and Netta was great at giving me alternative exercises if there were any I couldn't do. The food at the Wild Tribe is sensational and the staff were lovely. The daily massages give you that lovely pampered feeling. Age is no barrier, at 70 I left feeling fantastic.

I stayed for 3 weeks and loved everyday! I was travelling on my own and wanted a place to feel safe and be active. I was exposed to many new experiences such as mediation, breathing exercises and boxing. I was encouraged to go biking after having a fear lasting 30 years! The staff were amazing (Joe, Pao, Mod Pum - and soooo many others:) Leo was an incredible presence - Neeta was super encouraging. If you are interested in boxing work with Chit an accomplished boxer who comes to the resort - which is very clean. The rooms are very basic, clean and have the essentials. The food at the cafe is amazing super healthy - awesome smoothies and my favorite protein pancakes:) looking forward to seeing you all next year!!

Spent a wonderful month at the resort. Staff are amazing, location is convenient, but away from the madness of the bars and such, and activities are varied and fun. The rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable, and the rest of the resort is welcoming. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and a bit lighter. 😁

Amazing place of which the greatest treasure is the atmosphere and professionalism and mindfulness of people who are running it. Never been to the detox retreat in my life. I booked it all inclusive spontaneously, not knowing what I really need, stayed only one week, got sick, struggled, done only half of activities. At the end of the week, I didn’t want to leave. I completed my own personal journey that I couldn’t even define before I came, recharged my batteries, got closure on several important things in my life, finally understood what is yoga and how much it can do for me, and met such a great people! After eating amazingly tasty healthy vegetarian and vegan food I am considering becoming vegetarian myself. I recommend Vital Detox to everyone who looks for a place to do something good for themselves.

Amazing retreat with the perfect combination of exercise, healthy delicious food, massages and options for beach time and excursions. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the instructors skillful and excellent at accommodating anyone regardless of age and level of fitness. I stayed for two weeks on the all-inclusive programme and came home feeling stronger, revitalized and energized. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an active retreat in a lovely atmosphere.

My time at Natual Detox has been exceptional. The programme itself offers way more than I was anticipating and I am walking away feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The food is so fantastic that even when you are on the actual detox (should you choose to go for this) it does not feel difficult. The menu is clean, vast and delicious. The staff are simply wonderful and I felt nurtured and cared for throughout. I have done a few retreats and this far surpasses them all mainly due to the activities on offer as well as the delicious food. I could not recommend this place enough and my only warning is that you will want to stay longer.

I absolutely loved my time at Natural Detox Resort. The food was incredible but even better were the positive people working at the Tribe Cafe. I wanted a fitness retreat that would jumpstart my focus on personal well being. I exercise a lot at home but I appreciated the variety of activities and Netta and Leo for leading them in such a positive way. The staff really created a welcoming and inclusive environment and that resonated through to all staying there and some great friendships were made. The massages were great too and helped after full days of exercise. That being said, you are free to do the activities you want and go at your own pace. If you want to get a more positive mindset, eat better, and be active, this is the place to go. Thank you to all.

Room cleaning staff managed to miss cleaning my room during the hours I left the please clean my room sign out. Initially I thought it might be because the signs were getting blown around. So I set up the signs so the couldn't get blown around, but that didn't change it. I'd get back after a long, hot activity ready for a shower and rest and the cleaners would suddenly appear. I'd get a clean towel and some water and tell them to do the room tomorrow. Even when the room was cleaned there wasn't great attention to detail. A significant network of spider webs survived in the bathroom for the whole month I was there as well as some sticky substance on the floor. The resort facility is priced as a strong 3 star facility so have scored it appropriately. The price of the accommodation including all the activities is less than A$100 per day for the 29 day deal. You can get all your meals and drinks from the wild tribe cafe either as a package or buy each meal as required. But they are all good value. Food quality was excellent but I'd vegetarian except for eggs and milk. I had the complete package which involved the weight loss food plan, and a daily massage, accommodation, meals and classes for 29 days at around A$5000. There were some weekend places in Australia that cost close to that much. The resort isn't luxury. There no TV in the rooms but the wifi is good. It's not on the beach. But the beach is a short walk away. I don't think you'll find a better value for money proposition. I looked in Australia, Europe, and throughout Asia.

Amazing group of people with only one thing on their mind, how can they make your retreat better. Accommodations are basic and they state that up front. The location is a very short walk to the beach, shopping, and centralized to many attractions on the island yet not in the middle of a concrete jungle. Perfect place to detox, lose weight, get in shape, or just get away from 1st world chaos.

First the resort and then our own personal experience: The resort looks quite nice and the staff is extremely helpful. Definitely extra points for this. The room is very basic but "ok" for the price. The drainage in the bathroom/shower is unfortunately not very good, which is why the bathroom is under water for some time after a shower. Not that bad. The water pressure is unfortunately not very high, which is a pity. The fridge (at least in our room) is relatively loud, the bed is very hard (which some people don't mind) and makes noises with every movement and the rooms are not really soundproof (more on this later). Every morning at 7 am. you will most likely be awakened by the Muay Thai school next door but because of the thin courtains you will be awake with the sun. Despite these drawbacks, we had a relatively nice stay and 3 out of 5 stars seems fair. Now to our very own personal experience: In our penultimate night we were woken up at 02:30 am. by loud noises from the room next door. When the noisees did not subside after some time and loud music was also turned on, I went out to ask the neighbor (who also took 2 additional visitors to his room) to reduce the volume, since it was now 03:00 am. After the neighbor has clearly threatened me on my request to reduce the volume, I went back into our room, locked the door and no longer felt safe. The person was clearly drunk, possibly also under the influence of other drugs and very agressive. We were afraid because the only exit is past the neighbors door and each room has a window to the hallway, which could be broken very easily. We just didn't know, what to do and had no information from the resort what to do in an emergency after the staff is gone. After another hour and a half of holding out, we were sure that the neighbor is now in his room and we "fled". (During this time, the music got louder, didn't stop and even louder "noises" were produced in the next room). When we came back at 9:30 am. and told everything to the staff, we were met with great understanding for our situation and we were offered to change the room. However, since we no longer felt safe there, we checked out a day earlier, for which they were also understanding and even paid us the cab to the new accommodation (which was the same ammount as for the one night we already paid, but still very nice). We don't know what the hotel did with our neighbor afterwards, since we checked out before he had slept off his drunkenness. To sum up this story, the next morning the staff was very professional and understanding towards us. Of course, it would have been better if this situation had not occurred in the first place (e.g. by a night guard) or if we at least had any phone number/information in the room for emergencies in the night. But maybe they have already implemented/changed this because of this night.

Fantastic retreat with everything you need. Staff and trainers are super friendly, helpful, professional and ready to make you work hard. Different activities every morning for hiking, cycling etc so good way to see the island too. Food in the wild tribe cafe is just delicious.

Everything was perfect! If you're prepared to put some work in you will not only get great results but will see some beautiful parts of Koh Samui. The Wild tribe food was an eye opener and delicious, all the trainers were of the highest quality and Lander and his staff were all professional and friendly (a great environment!) The rooms (I didn't see the standard rooms but as the prices are so reasonable the deluxe and studio rooms are the better options anyway) were clean, large and had everything you could need. Fridge with bottles water, safe, air con, all bathroom needs , cleaners and for Thailand....pretty comfortable beds. Loved my stay and the group of people I met.....highly recommend and I'll be going back!

Stayed there for 10 days to do the full weight-loss detox program. The facilities set up and the detox-fitness schedule are really very well though of. The resort is just few minutes walking from a beautiful big beach, while the facilities provide you have what you need to rest and recover in body and spirit. The garden and the pool are are really nice, just being there is already like a therapy, it is normally quite calm, very far away from touristic vibe. The food in the Cafe is healthy, delicious and interesting, the ladies can prepare you extra healthy options according to what you wish even if not in the menu. People there genuinely nice and approachable, naturally creating this ‘’homey” feeling while also providing a space to be with yourself and just relax. Overall, a great experience and excellent place to stay in Koh Samui!

Rosa, Lander, Caroline, Thank you all so much for a fantastic month! I can’t believe how quick it flew by. The morning walks are such a great way to see parts of the island you probably wouldn’t otherwise. Caroline is a brilliant trainer and I enjoyed all her sessions. The food at Wild Tribe is all really tasty and beautifully presented. This place is ideal for solo travellers as most people were on their own and it was nice to make so many new friends. Looking forward to seeing you guys again in the future. All the best. Katrina.

After looking online for many weeks, I decided to book the 29 day / 28 night retreat. This was luckily a good choice as I had an amazing time and the time flew past so fast. The location is very good: near the beach but also near the center of the village. The activities were super fun and changed every day. The staff is lovely and I especially enjoyed the vegan food of the Wild Tribe Cafe. Very recommended!

I went for a 2-week all inclusive retreat at Visit. Everything from morning cardio sessions with Lander to strength sessions with Caroline were amazing. Sweating together in a nice company is the best 😜 the food in wild tribe cafe us delicious and super healthy, so you can get healthier and fitter without starving yourself. As a person who gets easily bored on vacation, this retreat was a perfect solution for me. I had a schedule that I needed to follow without having to come up with things to do by myself. I advise this retreat to anyone who wants to get fit in a nice atmosphere, enjoy beautiful places and eat clean. All staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms simple and clean. The resort is very conveniently located, you’re close to everything you need (nicest beach on the island, shops, restaurants) but away from all the hustle and bustle I will highly recommend this retreat to all my friends

Bathrooms are a little outdated but very clean and everything works well. No screens on windows so must use ac most of time. Doors have gaps at bottom in budget rooms can feel ac escaping. I would stay here again great location by Lamai Beach. No TV and wifi wasn't the best at times but most times I could stream Netflix no problem. Good budget resort with good vegan Cafe and lots of yoga classes and weight loss and nutrition programs.

I had an amazing time at Visit Natural Resort with a 7 day fitness and yoga retreat. The early morning hikes were energizing, and the smoothie bowls were my absolute favorite. I still miss them! The staff was really attentive and went above and beyond to help whenever I needed. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone looking for a refreshing getaway packed with activities, stunning nature, delicious vegetarian food, and excellent service.

I just spent 2 weeks here and am so thankful for the fantastic experience. As a 60 year old woman recovering from a serious illness, I was a little hesitant about embarking on this retreat on my own. However, from the moment I arrived till the moment I left, I was so impressed by how well everyone was treated and the care that was taken to make sure everything went well for each person. The staff, the trainers, the food, the massages, the companionship and the location were all top notch. I opted for the all inclusive package and found this a brilliant choice. The food is so good at Wild Tribe I really did not want to eat anywhere else - it's a great menu with lots of healthy and delicious choices. I feel fitter, healthier and revitalized after this retreat. I would recommend this to anyone needing a chance to re-focus and improve their overall health and well being. Thank you Lander and team for making this such a positive and memorable experience. Ann Frew.

Mum and I just completed an eight night stay here and we had the most wonderful time and wished we had booked for longer. Lander, Netta and the whole team worked so hard and seemingly so effortlessly to deliver a great programme of activities with hikes, daily yoga and strength/ conditioning training as well as the treatments available. There was also plenty of time to relax and enjoy swimming at the beautiful Lamai beach. The food/ drinks at the Wild Tribe cafe on site are absolutely delicious, healthy and really beautifully presented. We are not surprised to hear that some of the people we met were repeat visitors. We hope to be too one day! We met some wonderful people during our stay, each with their own reason for coming here and we miss it all so much already! Thank you very much to the whole Visit team. You are doing a great job. What a wonderful way to bring in the new year.

I really liked the combination/variety of exercises. The food looked amazing and tasted even better. The staff, the teachers, everyone was incredibly friendly, kind and helpful. I didn’t really know what to expect when I booked my stay at Visit. However, whatever expectations I may have had, they were more than fulfilled. This is not a five star resort - but it provided something truly unique: A setting and an environment able to create a community feeling that leads to change. It’s the people there who creates this culture. You made me feel at home from day 1. I truly hope I will be back again soon. Thanks to you all!

I stayed at the retreat for a month and was overall a very nice experience. The pros are: the restaurant is amazing, great teachers, the location is great if you like being close to the beach and I enjoyed the activities planned. The cons are: the bathroom in the room is very old and not very functional, classes are not divided by fitness groups and the housekeeping dont clean the room everyday. I would return in the future but hopefully the accommodation part is renovated for more comfort!

I stayed here for 8 days and it was everything and more from what I expected. The location was great. There is life around but your also immediately at the beach. The resort is lovely, not to big and everything you need. The restaurant has a great menu, full of tasty, healthy, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and detox dishes. The smoothie bowls in the morning were a bliss. The staff members are super friendly and helpful. The classes where very good and you have the freedom to do all are just choose the ones you feel good about. I have nothing bad to say and would definitely recommend going here!

What an absolutely wonderful experience! I only spent one week at Visit Natural Detox Resort, but left truly feeling like part of the tribe. The daily schedule is a perfect balance of fitness and relaxation, with some site seeing and culture sprinkled in amongst the activities. Super handy location about 2 minutes from the beach, with plenty of restaurants and facilities near by. If you decide to just stay put at the resort, there’s a lovely pool, massages, and the delicious wild tribe cafe right at your doorstep as well. Big shoutout to all the staff, from those working at the cafe and reception who know your name almost instantly, to the amazing coaches, especially Leo and Netta who really facilitate your fitness journey throughout! Thank you, I will definitely be back (and for longer next time) ❤️

Had a great time on my trip, will come back 100% , its great for what you pay for and i did the none inclusive options as i can be a picky eater but i loved the food at the cafe and i have actually not eaten meat since! With all the classes being optional i did have to nap a couple of times because of the heat ahahah, the staff were so lovely and just knew all the guests name and always greeted me with a cute smile ;') , I made new friends with the same mindset as me which was very enjoyable! Thank you!
