This is a great and fairly safe 10 km loop around a Reservoir. You can rent bikes or walk or run and some areas are shaded. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants on the other side of the road if you get hungry too. There are a few sketchy bars but they seem quiet in the daytime. There are a couple of dog packs that locals seem to feed which encourages them to stay. Just be careful if running at dawn or dusk as the may chase. Runners carry a stick to be safe. Nice area for exercise.

Decent place for exercise or a just a stroll around the lake. The cycle and running track is well used, can be quite busy early mornings as the Sun comes up and in the evening as the sunsets. Nice play area for kids about half way around and they have been further additions and improvements on the section up Mabprachan Hill adding workout equipment for those who want to put that bit extra in. A few food and drink stalls dotted around the lake for a welcome refreshment when needed. Distance around the lake is between 10 and 11km.

Recently started cycling around Mabprachan Lake on the newly installed cycle and walking track. Apparently it's 10+ kms with a 500m incline/decline at the Pong Park end of the route. Great for the family with park area and fitness areas installed. Great for beginner riders too
