Incredible museum of art work of a very talented and diligent master wood carver who fell in love for live with elephants. The yard of several Lanna-style wooden houses is filled with elephant carvings of any sizes and styles as well as many drawing, painting and other forms of art making tribute to those magnificent kings of jungle. There are several realistic life-size statues of elephants and one of a mammoth. I highly recommend visiting this place. Also there's a nice café downstairs.

The best wood carving master in all Chiang Mai if not all of Thailand. Matter Pet and his legendary life like elephant carvings are must buys when visiting Chiang Mai.

What a wonderful place to hang out in the shade for a couple of hours. Donation entry museum of elephant carvings. So many hours of work go into every piece, the entire site oozes dedicatipn and commitment! Helpful and informative staff, cute coffee shop with cookies, toast, ice cream and cakes. Lots of seating in cafe and outside. Buy something from their gift shop to help them raise vital funds. Toilet on site Parking out front

Absolut amazing art work with wooden elephants. A big exhibition and museum about elephants. If you are at BoSang go to Sangkampaeng to Baan Jang Nak. Currently you can see the workers doing their art.
