This market attracts good english speaking crowd but unfortunately the food is not up to the mark. The food stalls require major improvements. There’s a live band that plays every evening and there’s a special event every weekend. Overall a decent place to hangout after shopping in the area.

It’s a cleaner night market for food and beverages than the surrounding ones. Most the food stalls are comparable to typical offerings in a Thai food market. Just leaving this review to warn against the stall selling only coconut beverages – the stall holders were sulky and the “coconut smoothie” (฿50) was such a scam; consisting of 2 spoonfuls of coconut water, syrup, condensed milk & sugar, plus a ton of ice. I had to stop the lady from adding more sugar to my drink and she looked pissed. Just stick to buying the actual real coconut or a beer, from other stalls. The fried chicken stall near the entrance was really good value – got 5 large pieces of chicken tenders for ฿100 only. The atmosphere was quite laid-back but if you’re looking for good food, you’re better off with the many restaurant offerings in the city.

The place was pretty crowded on a Friday with live music. The food was good but the price point was a bit high. There are many other venues around the area within the night market environment. Chinatown up north about 5-8 minutes walk has nice food stalls at a price point very reasonable. Chiang mai overall has many night markets for food. A hidden gem is the maya lifestyle food court on the 4th floor. The price is unbelievable cheap. No music but it has air conditioning and it’s very clean. I’ve attached photos of both places. Enjoy!!! I have !

A great place to try a lot of different foods. There was live music both nights we visited. We tried several options including pad Thai, curry, spring rolls, spicy chicken wings, mango shakes, roti, and seafood tom yum soup. We enjoyed it all. The bathroom is clean, but you have to pay for paper.

Definitely a must try! Very good selection of food, loads of small stalls with different types of food. A multitude of variety and taste. Well worth a visit when you are in Chiang Mai. Great atmosphere with live music, you can find some local food and drinks as well. 100% recommended.

A fun outdoor market with many food and drinks options. And both nights we visited there was live music. We tried several food items and beer and ice cream. A fun place for the whole family.

Saw this market on a you tube channel suggesting it was a good starter market. I would agree but would also say it's the only food market you will ever really need. All the stalls were clean and friendly, plenty of seating, nice lighting, live music and a good bar....I loved this place and was the highlight of my stay. Prices perhaps 10 baht higher but quality worth paying for. Reccomend pork ribs and Thai sausage!!

We were so happy to have come across this night market randomly. It was in an open area, lots of seating, not too crowded and good live music. The food was great we walked around probably 10 times to make sure we didn’t miss anything.

My favourite night market for the amazing variety, great vibe with music and kid friendly. Lovely little Tiny House bakery but massive shout out to the most lovely family at Burger Box, you won’t get a better burger than these guys in Chiang Mai.

Easy to find whatever you want to eat 😋 Western food, Japanese food, Thai food, and also drinks. At night have live music!🤩 The restroom is clean and not wait too long If traveling around the Thapae area must visit here, at the main entrance is easy to find and another entry is not far from the main road too, there can walk

This is aimed at tourists. There's a live band every night. Different ones, all with Western music. Some are very good and they all create a nice atmosphere. Food is OK but really not authentic and much more expensive than other markets. For example, a large Chang beer is 150 THB when it's usually 80-90 from most places. So if you're after a pleasant evening, chilling with live music, this is a great place. If you're looking for an authentic night market, skip it.

We ate there twice, we had a great time, it is especially recommended to eat grilled fish and Thai soups. In general, there are plenty of choices, even though we have been twice, we will try more dishes, a great experience at reasonable prices

Loved loved loved the night market. We went there every night for dinner and really enjoyed it - the food, the drinks and just the overall vibes. Definitely recommend going there if you’re in Chiang Mai. I’m quite confident you’re going to love it too.

Excellent night market offering an enormous variety of restaurants including sushi, thai food, burgers, hot dogs, and more. Decent beer selection. Live music is available.

With a lot of night markets in the area, this is another spot that is worth checking out. Lots of vendors and plenty of seating as well as amazing live music performances. Highly recommend this night market for a wide variety of food options!

Affordable food, drinks and dessert. Plenty of seating. Worth checking out. Full bar in the middle. Homemade gyoza was good with good size, and deep fried. Seared to a nice crispiness.

This market has a variety of stalls selling different kinds of food and beverages. The scale of this market is considered moderate, not a very big food market. There are plenty of seats available. I went there on Thursday, it wasn't that crowded. Hence, it was quite comfortable to enjoy meals and chitchat with friends. There were many stalls located along the way connecting this market to Kalare Night Bazaar. Those stalls were selling all kinds of goods such as clothes, bags, handcrafted items or souvenirs etc.

The space is very large. The market arranges a central area for tables and chairs to eat and drink. While guests eat, there is one or more bands performing on stage to help stir the atmosphere. Diverse food is prepared in both Asian, European and American styles. Free parking outside. You should bring at least one person to reserve your seat as the market fills up very quickly in the evening.

If one day I go again ... I will definitely try for their portrait drawing ! Amazing artwork and talent. Very nice pork ribs at Ploen Ruedee Night market!

A really great night market with probably one of the best food courts in Chiangmai Mai! The food vendors offer all options for traditional Thai food, burgers, pizzas, barbecue, fresh seafood, desserts, and even vegan and vegetarian food options! They also sell beer on tap, by the bottle, or by the pitcher. Prices are reasonable. There is live music every night onstage with some fantastic local musicians. It is only a few steps away from the night market, so plenty of shopping is adjacent. It’s a great place to relax with some music, and some great food that is cheap. It’s become one of our favorite “eat out” places here and I am recommending it to all of my friends.

Open night market far from the old city. To get there, you go through other markets and street stalls. Nice atmosphere, although more crowded than Lana Square, pretty strong rock-like music, varied food and a bar where you can buy drinks (higher than average price) you can enter with drinks from other places.

Great atmosphere with live music and busy food stalls. I came here to visit the vegan food stand! Delicious 😋.

It's a nice little market, nice variety, good prices, good vibes, live music! They even have a corner where they give massages. We went twice and it was great!

Positively surprised by the number of vegan and vegetarian options. Not specifically focused on Thai cuisine, wide variety of Asian and Western joints. Hence also mostly tourists and not the most tasty food. Perhaps just go for a drink.

I went at around 5.30 pm and it was quite empty. It was lively at around 6.30 pm when I was coming back to my hostel. Went in and checked some of the stalls, the items and the prices of the items. It was alright.

Lots of awesome smelling and looking food options! Had khao soi, mango sticky rice, and a strip of pork belly from different stalls, and everything was great! Would definitely recommend the khao soi stall - 60 baht for the vegetarian version. There’s a decent mix of prices across the stalls, so you can find something in budget. Good vibe on a Friday night with live music and plenty of seating.

Nice market, really pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of food choices. Bit more expensive than the night bazaar only 3 minutes down the road but you get what you pay for. Worth checking out

I went to this market every night whilst I was in Chiang Mai. A lot of variety, super nice vibe and food was great. The band made it lively and the location is really easy to find. Fav food was definitely the somtam! Super yummy, had it everyday as supper.

Good vibe to this outdoor eatery, not like the other markets it's more attuned to dining and entertainment. A live band or two most nights which doesn't drown out conversation and contemporary music. A wide variety of Asian and western food options well presented and cooked in hygienic stalls. Well priced good atmosphere we liked it alot. Oh and it's not all youngsters there are a few middle aged folk there as well. Not a good rainy day venue due to the lack of overhead cover.

Great place to grab a bite and a drink. We had live music the time we went there. The lights and the decoration in general makes the market a nice place to stay. It has a more modern vibe than the rest of Chiang Mai’s night markets.
