3rd visit - 11th March 2023 This time, it was much better than my second visit. Once again, this place is fully crowded, and the queue is SUPER long. Never come during the weekend and the school holidays would be much better on weekdays 2nd visit - 15th December 2022 I was very disappointed, as I could not see the heavy Mist. 1st visit - 27th June 2022 If you happen to be in Betong for more than one (1) night, I highly recommend you to visit this beautiful Sea of Mist Aiyerweng. You might need to leave at 4.30 am (Thailand time) and reach the hill top by 5.10 am. Otherwise, you might be late for the BEST view. Prepare some small notes to pay for Tuk Tuk or motorcycle to go up to the viewpoint. The fees are 50 baht for 2 ways. There is a cafe next to the Skywalk.

Great place. Enjoyed it very much. For those interested to visit: 1. Need to either drive or arrange transportation to bring you to the ascension car park. The journey takes approximately 45 mins from your Betong hotel. Most people will start off between 4 to latest 5 am to reach Aiyerang to eatch the sun rise. Tut-tut cost about Thb 1,500 return. Cars Thb 1,800. Vans Thb 2,500. From the ascension point, the park rangers will arrange your transport up to the building with the overhang bridge. Normally the park tut-tut charges Thb 30 per pax one way. You can arrange for a private 'charter' by informing the park rangers and paying the full sum of Thb 360. This way, you will have not only a more comfortable ride up, but also a express ride without having to queue with everyone else. There are clean toilet facilities up where the building is, along with a cafe serving coffee and cakes. You will need to purchase a pair of wrap-on covers for your shoes. This is to prevent your shoes ftom leabing scratches on the glass floor panels of the overhang bridge. These cost Thb 30 per pair. You need to inform the lady whether it is for guys or ladies as they have 2 or 3 different sizes. A hint - you can go straight to the lady while your partner helps to queue up fir the entryintk the building, to purchase the wrap-on shoe covers first. This will help smoothen the procedure. Once inside the building, you will put on your shoe covers, followed by a short filling up of your particulars - name, nationality and phone contact. You will then need to decide - take the stairs or the lift (normally available to the disabled and elderly). The tower building has 6 levels with each level having a viewing deck. The overhang bridge with the glass floor observation deck is on Level 3.

I have never experience such incredible place with clouds beneath the people. At The Sea of Mist @ I-Yerweng, about 2038 metres above-sea-level, this place is fantastic for sunrise view with cotton like clouds moving just before my eyes while the sun rise above the majestic horizon. Its a must to visit for tourist to Betong town.

This place is the main spot of Betong. It is a must go place in your betong trip. Indeed the view is awesome and the mist can last very long. The queue is long and messy. Cut queue issue did happens. So it gonna take few hours to reach the viewing spot. Be early if wan to get good sunlight for the view. Plan your trip to reach there around 5am.

Visited 03072022 start journey at 4:30am from Yala Thailand. Newly renovated 勿洞云海. Walking distance from lower peak to high peak is around 2km (1/2 hour) . Tourist can direct hire small truck or bike to the peak. Recommended to take bike or truck instead of walking to peak.

Breathtaking view and cool climate !!! Worth waking up at 4am and driving for an hour in the dark to Ayr Veng (Aiyoeweng/I-yerweng). Note : there is no mobile roaming/data for all M'sian telcos in Yala, strongly recommend to download Google offline map before travelling to Betong. Google offline map got me to all the places during my 4 day stay.

RECOMMENDED. best place to visit. go up with 4x4 30 baht per-head. 20 baht by motorbike. 30 baht for the shoes. 100 baht for the ticket to see the mist. level until level 6 but best view for the mist at level 3

Beautiful scenery! Personally I prefer the right & left side view b4 this view tower point.

This place is a haven for healing, complemented by a soothing atmosphere and breathtaking views.

Lovely sea cloud you would not like to miss it, but how pretty it is depends on the weather very much, we are not able to see the first Ray of morning sun because of the sprinkle... Bring sweater n umbrella along will be good

Can you imagine that you feel you are above the cloud but in actual fact you are seeing a sea of mist. On top of that you have a skywalk built for the purpose of having a higher ground of view. You have to travel from Betong,Yala , Thailand by van to the tourist spot for an hour. At the same time you have an opportunity to see the sunrise which is scenic and awesome.Remember that if you want to see the sea of mist you have to wake up at 4.00 am. Another tourist spot is the tunnel near Betong is the tunnel and find out for yourself.

I loved carpet clouds here. You can ride up here to see it. Dont need to hike. You also can try Thai breakfast here

Nothing to say. Go and enjoy. Try to reach early morning, before 6:00 am.

Good place for couple to see sunrise and having a warming breakfast at Cafe beside it.

Greatest place in Betong. Got a free car park near foothill with limited parking slots. Took motorbike to reach the observation tower, which costs only 30 Baht. Get ready with windbreaker as it could be freezing cold motorbiking in the early morning.

Good experience here . I get up early morning before sunrise and drive up from my guesthouse 6 km from there about 15 minutes to parking area, at this area you can walk up to viewpoint or take a motorbike service. The new observatory deck and sky walk not yet complete. Nice and impressive sea of mist here , highly recommend .

Its the same place as Skywalk. Only its the parking lot for visitor before going uphill via 'taxi'.

Good experience. Had to wake up at 4.30 am to drive there. At a certain point, we had to park the car and take the 4wd up. Charges are 30 baht per person one way. Besides paying for the entrance, we also had to buy shoe covers to protect the glass floor. The view was impressive and it was very cooling (December). Worth a visit

Crazy experience…! It is definitely worth waking up really early. There is a long queue of tourists coming from Thailand’s big cities but it goes fast. You can stay as long as you want, i recommend a lot
