When I was told about Kraken bar/restaurant and these burgers I didn’t know what to expect and once I had tried them I was hooked. The secret sauce, the buns and the beef are truly tasty. The owner is a genuine decent chap, there are many varieties on the menu, the place is always busy and everyone eating says how nice the burgers are. The staff are helpful and welcoming, the burgers are big and they fill you up and the next day you want another one. The chips are good too, good value and nice vibes in this tucked away bar/restaurant. Everyone is welcome, visit alone or with friends, family and you will be glad of the experience. The owner is also there and really wants you to have the best experience possible. We loved the atmosphere of the shop, as it is a combination of an American 60s diner and a tiki hut. If you go there in the evening bring some time to wait. The place is really small (around 20 seats, 3 tables). And it takes some time to get your burger. Because everything is done freshly and it is perfectly arranged. But that's totally fine and totally worth it. Additional warning: be hungry! Even the normal portions are huge. One patty is 200g. If you are more hungry, there are double portions :)

It’s their good right to set them up, but still it made me feel a bit uncomfortable like - eat or die. Which is - for me personally - not the way I would treat customers. But still, solid burger 👍🏻.

The burgers were delicious - one of the best we’ve ever had. Serving size was generous. Owner was very attentive and came to check on us while we dined. Bonus - great beer selection and music.

There are some gourmet recipes and fun house rules. I'm a Chicago native with 30 years of continuous burger eating around the world. I can say that finding good burgers in Asia is a challenge but they do exist in special places like Kraken. The best craft beer selection around is also to be found here. Burgers , beer, and nifty tunes including some american 50s 60s music. Many things to do in this north of Lanta so it should not be a difficult decision to plan a meal here and enjoy the area. Excellent attentive friendly service and great owner hosting.

Had a great time at this spot. It's got a cool vibe and the food is solid. They're doing their own thing with the recipes and it shows. I went for the OCD burger with fries, and trust me, it doesn't disappoint. The 200g patty is a good size, even had me struggling towards the end. The burger was packed with flavor and the fries were just the right kind of crispy. If you're into good grub and a laid-back atmosphere, you've gotta check this place out

Delicious juicy burgers with HUGE meat patties (almost put us in a coma). The owner himself was in the kitchen grilling the burgers, and his teenage son was servicing and keeping the customers spirits high. But do keep in mind the 1+ hour waiting time during the evening rush hour. Was totally worth it though - both the kitchen staff and the father-son duo had such a good energy. They were blasting old school country music and small talking with everyone. They also ferment their own pickles for the burgers without any vinegar - 10/10. We got to try them on the side after finishing the burgers. Yum!

Glad I found this place as I needed a quick snack and probably found the best tuna panini I’ve ever had! It’s really next level, everything from the bread to the sauce, this has been absolutely delicious. All is made from fresh, quality ingredients. The salads are huge and looked great as well, will definitely be back to try the polish homemade sausage.

This place have spoiled burgers for me, I am not sure how to enjoy burgers back home after having tasted this. The patty was crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Absolutely gorgeous burgers. You can see with your own eyes how much care and attention the kitchen staff give to each burger. Huge portions, lots of flavour, delicious buns. They do seem to sell out before closing time relatively often (we visited twice and were lucky), so I'd suggest heading there by 8 or earlier.

I've been there multiple times and can't express enough that its best burger place in Thailand 🇹🇭🍔. Owner created unique atmosphere that makes food even better. Never felt a need to change something in recipe and I always go with his judgment, that is rare in any restaurant. You just go with ideas of chef and enjoy best combinations of taste that you would not get anywhere else. If you are in Lanta and don't come there at least one just consider what you are doing with your time on this earth and rethink your life choices 😁
