It’s extremely interesting to me to learn that this bar in this 5-star hotel allows people to smoke here. It’s frustrating because I understand that it’s against the law in Thailand that you cannot smoke in restaurants or in any building. Regardless of an effort to put a nice setup of the restaurant’s atmosphere, this is extremely disappointing and disgusting when you don’t care and respect the law that implemented for over 20 years for people’s health and right. I will never come back to this bar and this hotel again.

A nice bar in the open space within Anantara Siam Bangkok hotel. Drinks quality is great. A lovely cheese board and bar snacks to go with the cocktail.

Suite for smoker, Cigar shop is right there. Recommend for winter season (Dec-Jan) so it will not too hot. Drinks and food so good.

A happening and lively cheerful vibe of atmosphere surrounded by a tropical setting of trees and water in the hotel. A nice place for hanging out, having a good time and some nice drinks with an absolutely perfect live music singing. What i like about this place is that it’s surrounded by 3 restaurants of the hotel which means you can get food from these restaurants such as Japanese, steak, or Italian food! One bad point is that people who dont like cigar smell will have a problem as they allow smoking cigar here! Too noisy for people looking for a more formal place. If you hold Citibank ultima, you get 30% on food!

Great place to chill with your friends. The location of Aqua is in the middle of of a covered courtyard surrounded by numerous restaurants with Anantara Siam. So just start asking for menus from the various restaurants and order whatever sounds yummy. We ended up with a nice sashimi platter and wood fire pizza. The sashimi was great, the fatty tuna was like butter. There wine list isnt huge but a great selection spanning all kinds of budgets. They also supply you with complimentary banana chips, caramel popcorn, and mixed nuts with dried fruits. If you want a sofa seat I'd highly recommend you book ahead. We were lucky to book in the morning and get one. Also do valet. Then you dont have to worry about stamping your car park ticket after you've had a great evening.

Vibe and seating area is really nice, like a little tropical oasis. Service is good. Good and drinks are not impressive. Can get way better food and drinks at other places near by. Good place if you are sticking to traditional drinks and not eating.

Top shelf bar. Quality service and settings. Looks very popular with Thai elite who seem to drink more wine than cocktails. Really lush surrounds with prices to match. Recommend.

The atmosphere leaves much to be desired in comparison to other 5 start hotels in Bangkok. It’s old and the acoustics aren’t what they should be. Service is a snail race. Took us 15 minutes to get a check and 15 to be able to pay…

Upscale gastropub near Rachadamdri... Awesome forest'ish atmosphere, complimentary snacks, brass band, good selection of cigars, many signature cocktails and a lovely staff. Snack menu available, but authentic asian, Italian, Indian and Steak restaurants are just a step away Definitely worth a visit - if not hungry, then go for a cocktail and the calming atmosphere.

Great experience! Stellar view! Superb value for money. I absolutely loved all dishes! The only thing that I didn’t like the most was the Truffle fries. Everything else was delectable. Another thing to note about this place is there’s people smoking cigars and cigarettes.

disappointing meal and rude receptionist, despite this a great atmosphere enjoyed with live music we had booked a reservation for 8pm and was shown a confirmation, we arrived at 7:40 in hopes to have a few drinks before our meal. when we arrived we were told that they hadn’t received our booking on their system which was fine but we were confused as we showed them our confirmation. we were abruptly and rudely told by one member of staff (receptionist who was a white female) that ‘no tables, we are fully booked for the whole night’ and then she walked away. her attitude was terrible and the other two thai lady staff smiled at us apologetically after she sauntered off. they told us to wait a bit after being dismissed from the first lady and a bar table was made readily available in about 20 seconds. after this interaction our moods were very dampened by her rudeness which seemed to be unprovoked as they did have a table. once we ordered and received our food all i can say was that it was very average and lacking in flavour (we had the snails, mussels, some sushi and pizza) nothing stood out that we would call tasty. despite this, the atmosphere and service once we sat down was amazing, ashame that first lady had ruined our service experience from the beginning which is why all i can give is 3 stars, especially with the somewhat high price points. I would also like to point out that from 9:45 onwards there were plenty of empty tables and they were clearly not fully booked. we were also all dressed up in a group of 5 and ready to splurge on our last dinner of our bangkok trip so we are confused as to why we were abruptly turned away at first.

Went to Aqua today for the third time in 6 months. The dining experience was most disappointing. All our food arrived late and cold. The ice cream I ordered for dessert had melted when it was brought to the table. We left most of the food on the plates. We shared our disappointment with the staff. Most restaurants of such stature would provide gestures of goodwill under the circumstances. No action whatever was taken by the staff/management.

Good vibe for hang out. They did a live brass band when I was there, very lively.

Superb experience at this classy bar. The natural setting inside is relaxing. Tables are separated, not packed. The band is great. On some nights, they have Latin music, super lively. Excellent attentive service. The wine and cocktails are great The downside is that the area is considered outdoor, therefore, smoking and cigars are allowed.

Beautiful bar inside the Anantara hotel. The scenery inside the hotel is unexpected! They have a court with a garden that is well furnished. The bar is right next to all these green trees and plants in the open air. It is cosy and chic at the same time. They had a jazz band playing. The drink are good quality and they have some original recipes on their menu. We didn’t try the food.
