I’ve heard people compare this place to the infamous Nobu, but I disagree. In my experience, the food is good, but it lacks a ‘wow’ factor for the price. I tried over 10 menu items, and the only ones I would order again are the tuna pizza, crispy pork belly signature roll, and the lava soufflé. Apart from the food, the service and atmosphere were great.

At 37th floor in Sukhumvit 22 , u can enjoy the delicious Japanese fusion foods with the complex taste. Good choice to celebrate your special events with friends or families. Note: the number of staffs is not enough comparing with customers so the service is quite slow. Please be patient when visiting this place.

Love this modern fusion Korean restaurant. The ambience is very nice. The food is fantastic. We came here twice and pretty sure we tried at least 70% of what on the menu and they were all very good. They were well made with fresh ingredients The service is good. The view is very nice and romantic.

Located on the top floor of the Marriott Marquis, Akira Back offer a fantastic view over Bangkok. Korean - American - Japanese flavors are mixed together to create an unique dining experience. Try their tuna pizza! It’s amazing! Explosion of flavors in your mouth. Nice ambiance. Staff is very attentive. The Manager is very well detail oriented and friendly. Highly recommended for a nice dinner with friends or anniversary occasions.

Phenomenal Japanese food, service and restaurant. One of my favorite places to dine in Bangkok. Such a stunning gastronomic experience with Japanese Fusion cuisine @ Akira Back ! Superb flavours. The private room dining was truly a unique experience. Will surely be back here again.

We were able to squeeze in a last minute reservation at the bar and Akira did not disappoint! Lovely staff who checked on us throughout the meal and very high quality food. Well worth the price for quantity, quality, and service.

This is a Dated Hotel and the restaurant has been used and abused. Food quality is good, service is nice... But.... This is not a Akira Back... It needs to shut, be re done and open with a fresh look.... I gave it 4 stars for the food... On other fronts, its a 2 star.... The Manager is a nice person, Constantine... The ladies that serve are attentive and follow instructions well... Its a recommended restaurant... Bhagwan..

amazing dining experience in Bangkok! delicious Japanese cuisine, friendly staff, quick service, excellent quality of every dish. we had several appetizers, sushi rolls, and main dishes- everything was truly exceptional. the ambience is great- very classy but still family-friendly. everything about this dining experience was incredible, i’ll definitely be coming back every time i’m in Bangkok! thank you to the entire staff for this experience!

Quite an experience here. The food was nice though a bit salty. We ordered a few dishes and didn't forget their signature pizzas. Vegetarian options are shitake mushroom pizza, which was nice and their eggplant in miso sauce topped with mozzarella cheese, house salad and some grilled asparagus. We ordered panna cotta and coconut mochi with sorbet. The panna cotta was definitely fancy and worth trying but the coconut mochi has more textured.... at least for me

Really great all of angers; Bangkok city views, cozy and fantastic interiors. The food ie really good with the best of presentation. There is a tons of menus for you to choose. Drink is also good. This place is suitable for celebrating with friends or couple. Over cost is quite expensive but affordable with what they present.

I was dreaming of such an experience.. the food has not one mistake.. there is passion in preparing the food and every bite makes you melt Truly bravo I have been in thiland for a week and this restaurant is the first one that wowed me! We ordered crispy rice with tuna, wagyu tacos, wagyu slow cooked, corn cub, mashed potatoes, and the sushi was hot mess.. for the dessert it was the chocolate fondant .. but what i ordered twice was the lychee mocktail.. wow wow great experience and definitly coming again

I had a fantastic experience here tonight. The food was delicious with a fresh modern twist, and the service and atmosphere was great. We were even surprised with a birthday cake! Thanks for the great experience, I will be coming back again for sure.

Excellent food, great view of the city, and great service. You get used to very good service in Bangkok, but Akira is a step above. We had Christmas Eve dinner there and along with a great meal we were entertained by a very cute choir of children. The cocktails are well made with prime ingredients, and they have a good selection of wines to go with dinner choices.

A friend and I went for BK Restaurant Week and it really highlighted some of the delicious things on offer at Chef Akita’s restaurant! ✨ I will just say that when I put the payment on my credit card, they only used THB (usually there’s an option to use another currency), so be aware of this. Definitely would recommend the food for sure 😊

An excellent restaurant for dining with both family and friends. Foods were great but the main courses are in the smaller portion side. I personally like their AB Taco and Una-Q. Service was excellent and a major shoutout to Peach for taking care and making everything in a almost perfect dining experience.

Amazing restaurant in Bangkok Located on the 38th floor of the Marriott Hotel The staff is very professional and polite. The food was amazing!!! Tapas style modern Japanese cuisine. Top floor of the hotel. Staffs were excellent. Food is party food with small portion. Good taste. Great place for hangout with friends before go clubbing.

Good introduction and services :) STARTER Hokkaido Scallop Tiradito Red bell pepper coulis, shiso salsa, and micro coriander. ADDITIONAL Akira Spicy Tuna Tacos COURSE 2 Black Cod Lettuce Wrap Mango salsa, crispy potato, and gochujang miso. COURSE 3 Braised Beef Cheek Australian Wagyu beef cheek, spring vegetables, and truffle braising jus. DESSERT Korean Rice Pudding Rice chip, rice ball, and makgeolli ice cream.

Cozy ambiance, delicious fusion food including various Japanese sushi, tuna pizza, creative food menu with great staff However the Tiger Prawn menu was disappointing .. they came with soft and non-fresh taste but other dishes were fantastic

We had a very good dinner. It was a nice experience, we plan to go back in a couple of weeks with some friends to celebrate a birthday. Only one small problem which has nothing to see with the food, is that I had a problem with my bonvoy membership card. And they only gave me 10% discount in stead of 15%.
