Good and reliable scooter rental place. Scooters are new and well maintained. Helmets are also plentiful and well maintained. Shop will take a copy of passport and cash deposit, no need to leave actual passport here. Shop also easily contactable via email or WhatsApp. Very happy with my rental, will definitely come back again for scooter rental if I visit Chiang Mai again.

I am always very cautious when it comes to vehicle rental companies, as providers with very cheap offers often cut corners on quality or add hidden costs later on. That's why I was immediately impressed with Mango Scooter Rental's clear, simple, and fair pricing and rental policy as listed on their website. We recently rented a scooter from Mango Scooter Rental for a thrilling adventure through the Mae Hong Son loop, and it was a pure joy from start to finish. The bike was brand new and in excellent condition. During our ride, we encountered a minor issue with the scooter and Mark and his team went above and beyond to make it right, even reimbursing us for any expenses we incurred. If you're considering renting a scooter for your travels, I highly recommend giving Mango Scooter Rental a try. Mark and his team have a wide selection of top-quality scooters and are dedicated to ensuring that your rental experience is smooth and enjoyable. Their prices and rental conditions are more than fair. Overall, Mango Scooter Rental is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to explore a new destination on two wheels. Mark and his team are top-notch and I would happily give them five stars all the way! PS: Just be sure to follow a few safety precautions to ensure a fun and safe ride: 1) Always wear a helmet. 2) Make sure you have a valid international driver's license. 4) Test your brakes and brake lights, turn signals, and lights before hitting the road. 5) Check that your tires have enough tread. 6) Have a copy of your rental contract and the basic government insurance with you. 7) If possible, wear protective clothing. 8) And remember to drive like the locals - pay attention to other drivers and stay alert at all times.

Amazing rental center! Highly recommend to everyone! The owner is Irish man, super friendly and open-minded. I rented 155 Yamaha, got a discount, so it was only 4 000 per month ( other centers offer you 5 500-6000 bat for this bike). I had a small accident, had few scratches on bike, but they didn't overcharge me for that. Next time I will definitely rent scooter here again. Amazing!

I rented my bike for 30 days (and then added another 8). The price is really good, better than most bike rentals in chiang mai. The crew are really friendly and fair. They have a waiting list for their bike rentals. The bike was in great condition when i got it. I drove a lot with it, did the entire mae hong son loop and more, and it had no problems at all. It was perfect. Thank you!

$1000 baht deposit, 2000 baht per month. Honda scooter that moves my 6'1" 230 American butt around like lightning. Quick easy pickup. Cute girl took my money, funny how that seems pretty constant in my life LOL! So far so good. 👍

I rented from Mango bikes years ago, just when Mark was building his inventory. I haven't seen him in the shop after that occasion but he really has established an amazing business. The standard is way above any bike place I rented from in Thailand & the quality of the bikes is top notch. I was having some issues with my bank & the staff there were honestly amazing in helping me resolve it. They are super accommodating & very friendly. I rented a 125cc & then changed my mind to the 150cc as I was driving to Pai, none of this was an issue & the bike worked perfectly & was great on gas.

Easiest bike renting experience. Not keeping your passport is a huge plus point! The staffs can speak well English and the process was straightforward. They took a photocopy of your passport, you sign a contract, deposit 1000baht then the bike is ready. There is another staff to prepare the bike for you while the other doing paperwork. You may want to call or book ahead instead of walk in. We walked in at 9.30am and most of the bikes are booked, only 2 left.

I was introduced to Mango team by Tony who I knew from airbnb, the owner of the apartment I stayed in during my trip to Chiangmai. It couldn't be more wonderful because of the enthusiasm at Mango. I had stupid action that i would never forget: leave the key under the seat, and close it :) I called the host at Mango to ask for help. Just 15 minutes later, a mechanic guy came to help me at JingJai market. I don't know what else to say other than thank you. A enthusiastic, friendly team. You have contributed to making my trip truly more meaningful than ever. Big recommendation for this place :)

I have lived in Chiangmai for a couple of years. This is definitely the best motorbike rental place in town! Good service, good quality of the bikes!

I rented a scooter from them for 3 months from May at a very reasonable rate. Ran very well, and they were very and quickly helpful with any problems via WhatsApp. Took the scooter back a couple of times for maintenance. Was very quick and out of there in minutes. When I took the scooter back with a few days left before my rental period was over, they refunded me for the days I didn't use! Completely took me by surprise. They checked the bike over, but tried absolutely no funny business to extort my deposit, which is always a worry of mine. Just cash in hand, thank you very much, pleasure doing business with you. Very decent, honourable and professional business. Thank you so much!

I used Mango Scooter Rental in Chiang Mai because it was close to where I live. However, on doing a general search around the city, it looks like Mango wins hands down. The prices and range are the best and there’s the confidence in the upkeep and care of the bikes. Mr Mango has his own mechanic to come and service the fleet and he has a number of Thai staff who’s English speaking abilities are excellent. The helmets are washed regularly (have photo to prove it) and Mango is flexible with timings and offers. Thoroughly recommend to rent a scooter or motorbike from Mango Scooter Rental. Bring on the 6th star!

I've been renting bikes from Mark and his excellent staff for almost a year. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Knowledgeable and someone always on hand to answer queries or deal with mechanical issues if ever they arise. If you're in Chiang Mai and you need your own transport, make this your first stop.

The thing is when you try to get a specific bike that is currently unavailable (like a 150-155cc) they give you an estimate when one should come back in. You can leave your number and they will get back to you. But in the last month I’ve requested a bike 3 times that should have come in that day or the next day. They didn’t get to me once within that timespan and when I contacted they told me the renter extended the lease. The responds time is simply too long or none at all. From a customer perspective this is not great and should improved. And yes I’ve also rented a bike from them, a 125 for one day. They have plenty 125’ available at all times.

The best bike rental company in Chiang Mai. Well maintained bikes. Very reasonable prices. No fuss no muss and they don't keep your passport. Just a small deposit. Walked in and left the place with a bike in less than 20 minutes. 👍

Brilliant service. Bike was spot on and gave me some good ideas where to explore for a day. Ended up going to Mae Wang National Park on the little 115cc bike and being a 15st bloke, it was more than capable. Great value for money. Best scooter rental in town. Cheap prices, and they give you the opportunity to exchange with another scooter. People working there are very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this place 👌

An excellent service. We have been rented a click 160 for 3 month already. The bike is new, every time when we extend our rent stuff checks tires and ask if we have any problem with it. I am really glad that I rented my bike here

Very trustworthy Scooter rental. Good value, massive range of bikes. The bike we used seemed brand new - to be honest most of the bikes on offer looked very new. Medical insurance included, they will take a photocopy of passport but not take actual passport - they do a cash deposit instead. We returned our bike earlier than expected so they gave us a discount! No extra charge for additional helmet either 😊 Great all round - thank you!

We decided to try the Mae Hong Son Loop and chose this place to rent two bikes. They gave us good advice about which bikes to use. Furthermore, the bikes had good quality and new tires. We can totally recommend this place if you want to rent good quality bikes for long distance trips for a decent price.

Bike pickup and drop off very straight forward and simple, very welcoming. 2000baht deposit. Yamaha Aerox served us well on 750km loop. However engine blew a gearbox seal, and we had to find where to fix it. We were reimbursed for the cost but that’s it. So if renting Aerox ask if seal was recently maintained. You’ll save yourself a half day trouble. Also beware rental has very limited helmet options, all of them look like they been through a lot. And international drivers license, got fined 500baht on the last day of rental in Chiangmai for not having it, EU license didn’t cut. Beware don’t go near police station 🤷‍♂️🫣 and good luck!

I rented a scooter (nmax) from Mango rental for several days and I am very happy with my choice. The bike was in excellent condition (it had 27000km but it felt like new - they really take care of their bikes), customer service & communication was on great level and they even provide good helmets (mostly in Thailand I get such a bad helmet that I don’t even bother to wear it, but Mango’s helmets are great).

Rented a Honda CBR150R for a few weeks and was very impressed with the bike and the staff. Had a key issue and they resolved it immediately. Will be coming back again ! Highly recommend them for motorbike rentals in Chiang Mai.
