👍👍 Delicious evening roti by Pa Day who has been making roti for 39 years. I loved how she used pure coconut oil, so the roti tastes really clean and pure. People often mention roti, order, wait, Roti, Michelin, paper, good, banana, milk, rotee,

Very tasty various kinds of rotee. You can have a rotee with banana, egg, chocolate, sweet condensed milk etc. It is climatic to wait when two older women are preparing your food during their husband is watching Muslim prayers on an ancient and tiny portable TV, and their grandson is sleeping on a camp-bed nearby. 25 THB for a rotee with an egg and a piece of banana is a well spent money!

Fresh and cheap, definitely worth their Michelin Bib Gourmand. The ladies here work fast and constantly, deserving of their accolades. To order, grab a piece of paper which has a number and write your order down to turn in. The wait is worth it! Do be careful since the food is hot off the grill

Excellent and delicious roti served by super friendly cook together with her service minded staff. This street vendor has earned a recognition by the Guide Michelin so there is always a line of people waiting to be served. I can warmly recommend you to try this roti out, it's well worth the wait.

I am not roti-fan but boy , wasn't that good? They have lots of customers and we understand why

I normally don’t eat street food but with so many people recommending this little cart we made a exception. We ordered 3 different Roti and thoroughly enjoyed each one. The butter Roti was my favorite but the banana egg and cheese is definitely not to be missed! 👌🏻👏😋 Great value with price averaging around 30 baht (1USD) each

It was a good roti. Although I can’t say that it’s the best I have ever tried, but it is still a good roti.

There are lot of roti stalls in Chiang Mai, but this is probably one of the best if not the best. The roti is freshly prepared and perfectly fried (not to crispy) when you order while other places nowadays pre-fry the roti and warm it on the pan. Be warned though, this place is very popular and if you arrive late you might have long wait.

Not quite a fan of Roti but was so curious so I decided to try one. Lots of people are waiting but they have a good queuing system with number. It was quite interesting to stand and watch them preparing them. The egg Roti with banana was very good ( when I didn’t think about all the calories 😂).

This place is packed! I placed my order and then waited 1 and half hours. I only ordered one thing. I am not sure if it was worth the wait, but the roti I got was fantastic.

Busy roti stall with Michelin guide recommendation. The roti is crispy outside and quite fluffy inside. We had the egg cheese flavor which is well complemented with the sweet condensed milk. It's fried with coconut oil so it tasted not as deep fried but still really crispy. There are variety of filling options and it's pretty affordable so you can try different options. Order is by writing on a piece of paper and you need to wait for collection when your number is called.

The famous one with Michelin guide. Long order but fast service. Taste is good but not too awesome. Can parking along the road. One bad thing is the boy who assist auntie, seems not to clean. He touch everything including the food.

I’m a sucker for dessert prata so this definitely hits the spot. May need to wait ~20-30mins but it’s so worth it. It’s less than $2 for 2 pratas and so delicious. I got the chocolate banana and milk sugar pratas.

Worth the wait! 1 hour at the line and you get an amazing Roti! Recommend Butter Roit and Banana cheese no eggs

You write your order on the little booklet, remove it and put it on the metal stick. It’s weird but that’s how it works :) My only regret is having shared my roti with Nutella and not having taken one entirely for myself!

Gave me an allergen I didn't order without even telling me. As the photos show, ordered a Roti+Banana+Chocolate. Get given one covered in condensed milk. Michelin my ... Don't quite yet the hype either. Once I got what I ordered, it wasn't different from any other Roti street vendor

(November 2023) Might have been good if there wasn’t such a high demand but honestly, it was just below average. We’ve had better roti in every other random roti stand across the SE Asia 😔 When you arrive, take a pen and paper (located on the right side next to the Michelin 2023 sign), write down your order and stab it on that blue “needle”. Make sure to remember your number. Calling out names was very chaotic when we visited, as most of the customers spoke Thai, so we had no clue which number it was currently on unless we got closer to the guy calling out numbers and finally caught a glimpse at the current paper order. He does speak English but only rarely. After 30 minutes of waiting, the roti we received was quite small, had almost no crispiness and very little filling to it (especially bananas) 😔 We paid 80 THB (which was a fair price).

Best roti ever, but it takes a long while to wait for your roti. And you need to check if it’s your turn. The clerk won’t tell you whether your order is ready.

This one we found by chance although we had previously heard about it so we decided to cancel our plans and try it out. It was an interesting experience, watching the ladies prepare the rotee so peacefully even though it was full of people was beautiful. Beware you’ll have to wait if you order here, we had 10/15 people ahead and we waited for about an hour. I ordered the rotee with egg, Nutella and banana (with sweet milk on top - 45 Baht), the flavour was different but if you are not one to try out exotic stuff just order a simpler one, the dough was heaven, so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Consider this a snack after dinner and enjoy with a beer from the seven eleven close by while you wait.

waited 40 minutes. The roti is just so so, I would say any roti in Thailand tastes just like this without this long lines. Save your time and go somewhere else.

15mins with a short queue was not worth it for me. Not sure what makes this so different from any other rotee in Thailand. It's just ok. Reasonably priced but small portions. And extremely unsanitary. Lady caught and handled a rat around the food. No joke.

Super nice granny and super delicious roti. Most things on the menu are sweet but they also have savoury options like cheese, egg, and corn. I tried banana and chocolate, and cheese.

This is michelin guide 2023, found a lot of ppl are queuing so i just dropped by to order 2 original roti, price is superb cheap! Just 10 THB for original one. The taste is just ok for me, nothing special, like a normal roti. For those who would like to order, you will need to note it down in the small paper, cannot just order verbally as they do have order from food delivery as well.

It’s on the Michelin guide for a reason, did not disappoint. Best roti I’ve had. You write down your order on a piece of paper and pass it over so it can be put in the queue Gets very busy so expect quite a wait

Great crispy Michelin Bib Gourmand Prata. They do a brisk business and are very friendly as well. write your orders on a sheet of paper and hand it to the cashier to pay and wait at the side for your order to be prepared.

Best roti place!! Highly recommended!! If you enjoy dry and crispy roti (like me) , I’d highly recommended the regular roti (with milk) and the milo Roti (with out without milk). Other kinds of roti would be a bit more wet.

Waiting time was pretty long but the Roti was clean and good! If you're getting the Butter Roti make sure to get more than one!

Definitely a great roti but as others wrote - I had similar ones. We came on Sunday around 9pm and waited about 10-15min. When you arrive, you need to write down your order on a piece of paper. There is no queue.

The famous Roti in Chiangmai but I think the taste is not different from the others Roti.
