We stopped here for a drink and wow… the guy built the whole place himself and is very chatty and friendly! He said feel free to walk round his gardens and eat any fruit… plants… leaves etc and it was amazing! We never got the chance to try the masaman curry but apparently it’s the best on the island! He also rents of bungalows which look very rustic!

We arrived at the facility, warmly welcomed the host, showed us around the garden, told us about the plants, it was nice, but unfortunately that's where the pluses of the facility end. We booked the cheapest option from booking, the cottage was tragic, full of bugs. On the sheets were full of ants, mosquitoes flew at night, we hung a mosquito net, but the ants did not bother. Seemingly proximity to nature but the road is close and scooters passing by very noisy at night. After the first night we moved to a cottage twice as expensive, there it was better even though the kettle and towels were missing and in the ad they were. Before arriving we asked about bicycles, the host claimed to have a bike rental, but it turned out that he has only one bike and without brakes. We had the impression that at every step he wants to rip us off, for example, he tried to push us a trip to the waterfalls for 350baht claiming that you can only go there with a guide, while we got there on our own without any problems. The beaches are on the other side of the island, you have to cross the mountains so every time you have to rent a vehicle. Despite these circumstances, we will remember our stay well, another adventure

Lovely host (Man), very welcoming and helpful in booking us a boat trip. Food was excellent and vibe was super relaxed. The grounds are amazing, Man grows his own fruit, veg and herbs. There are ducks, chickens and cats everywhere. The hut was comfortable with an amazingly refreshing cold shower. It is a 15min walk into old town which you must do if you are staying on that side of Lanta. Only negative is the hard bed but you should be prepared for that as the the whole point of the resort is back to basics.

Amazing place. He is not lying with the best massaman curry on koh Lanta and I highly recommend the passion fruit shake as well. Everything fresh from the garden!!! Go there

Great Massaman Curry and perfect Roti. Man the owner is very friendly and we liked him from the first moment.

The staff are lovely!! You get free taxis in and out of old town which makes the hotel feel extremely convenient! The rooms are surrounded by palm trees and streams, very peaceful. Taxi driver is lovely! Ohh and the food at the restaurant is surprisingly good!

Possibly some of the best food in Thailand! And that’s not an overstatement. Hosted by a wonderful family this place is a must if you’re in Ko Lanta. We didn’t stay overnight just stopped for lunch and had some really really amazing food. Spent time taking to the owner who showed us around and explained the many herbs growing in the garden. Will be back to spend a few days here next year.

If you want a slice of truely wholesome jungle living GO HERE. We saw scorpions, lizards, snakes it’s perfect for animal lovers and those looking to escape the tourist buzz. This is a space for travellers and not tourists, it was the best accommodation find we made on our whole trip!

Quiet little bungalows away from any louder parts of town. Basic amenities perfect for those looking to stay in nature. But what really makes this place so special are the people who run the place. Man and his wife Fa were so friendly, so accommodating, and provided a family atmosphere where anyone staying was welcome to relax and talk with Man or any other people staying there, mostly about how beautiful life was there and about all the fruits and vegetables he grows on the land. A special stay with wonderful human connections and it’ll be somewhere I come back to whenever I return to Lanta.

What a lovely place, the massaman curry was indeed delicious and made from veg they grow on site. I only had a curry here but promise to be back. Gorgeous location and friendly staff.

I was literally driving past in the dark and decided to try the best massaman curry and it was indeed very tasty and good value. I have a bad hip so the sitting on the floor part did not really help but it was dark and I wasn't sure if they had actually seating available. That said, I would certainly pop in again for the curry as it is original and tasty.

Nice place, cosy and confortable (for those standard of course), close to nature. Restaurant is also very good, with product coming from their own area. Not for everyone, it's in the wood, you have animals and insects flying around. People with high standard, please avoid coming there and giving bad review. It's very valuable for the price.

This is a group of bungalows with a small restaurant. We stopped as there was a sign advertising their Massaman Curry. We had lunch here. Most of the ingredients are grown in their garden. I had the Tamarind Chicken and my wife had the Massaman Curry. Definitely worth a stop.

After 6 months in Thailand I finally ate the perfect massaman curry! It was so good, highly recommend this place and its friendly people :)

What an absolutely wonderful place hosted by absolutely wonderful people!! The best experience on Lanta. Man takes care of his little patch of paradise with his family, and they are so welcoming to let you stay there. If you are looking for a real experience that comes from the heart, then do not leave Lanta without visiting here. The massaman curry is indeed the best Massaman curry on Koh Lanta, without a doubt. While I was there I also took super authentic cooking classes, so I was able to learn to make the massaman curry, as well as Panang curry and Mango sticky rice. We even made our own coconut milk. All the while I enjoyed some wholesome conversation and a truly special time. The accommodation is wonderful, and there is fresh fruit and spring water readily available all the time. I truly look forward to the next time I go to stay at EasyLife Lanta!! I’m very grateful for the friendship I made there. Thank you Man and your Family. -Suleiman

After seeing the “Best Massaman on the Island” sign I had to try. The friendly family made everything from scratch and gave me a coconut from their farm. The Massaman Roti was outstanding. Malay style, mildly spiced, sided with a home made roti. I stayed for an hour chatting with the family and playing with the kids, practicing Thai.

Saw the sign for massaman curry and thought we would stop. Very welcoming, friendly and yes, the curry is great as well as the homemade pandan roti. Water bottles filled from the fresh spring. Awesome place.

Amazing service, the owners are incredible and kind, the food is so delicious I crave it all the time, they offer a range of services so whatever you need I guarantee they can do it

We saw the sign that read "best massaman curry in Koh Lanta" and we stopped. Definitely the best massaman and penang curry we had. And then add the butterfly flower roti and you have a perfect meal. It is worth a stop for a leisurely lunch and chat

They advertise themselves as having the best massaman curry on the island, and they are right. It was absolutely brilliant! We had a panang and massaman curry (both vegan) and a passion fruit shake. All ingredients fresh from the garden, fantastic taste!

Forgot to leave feedback but remembered in the bus. The owner is great, bungalows are solid too. Believe me i can compare with a bungalow on Samui i rented before. These ones have even shower and toilet inside. The mat is huge. Thank you for teaching me to peel off and open coconut Man 🙏😂
