The
good:

Places
visited
were
breathtaking,
especially
Maya
Beach
and
Monkey
Beach.
The
not-so-good:
(-)
Tour
was
delayed
by
>1
hour.
We
were
supposed
to
depart
at
9.30am,
but
ended
up
leaving
the
pier
only
closer
to
10.45am.
The
reason
was
not
was
well
communicated
to
us.
As
a
result,
we
waited
for
almost
2
hours,
our
pickup
from
our
hotel
was
at
8.15am.

Was
expecting
to
learn
some
history
on
the
places
we
visited.
Instead,
the
guide
only
shared
the
name
and
time
to
leave
each
place.
This
is
not
a
guided
tour,
it
felt
more
like
a
ferry
service
to
the
different
places.

Felt
that
the
long-boat
tour
(additional
300+
baht
per
pax)
around
Pileh
Lagoon
was
not
worth
the
money
/
misrepresented
by
the
guide.
The
long-boat
took
us
to
the
entrance
of
the
Lagoon
(short
5
mins
ride)
and
dropped
us
there
for
snorkelling.
Water
there
was
very
choppy
as
compared
to
the
inside
of
the
Lagoon
where
our
speedboat
was
anchored.
The
reason
we
paid
for
the
long-boat
tour
was
because
the
guide
told
us
we
cannot
snorkel
at
the
area
where
the
speedboat
was
anchored.
Funny,
because
we
came
back
to
see
our
other
participants
snorkelling
around
the
speedboat,
where
the
water
is
equally
clear
and
significantly
calmer
than
where
we
were
dropped
off.

Group
was
large,
about
40
pax.
If
you
prefer
smaller
groups,
this
is
not
the
tour
for
you.
Our
experience
was
also
spoilt
because
of
some
rowdy
and
obnoxious
participants
on
the
tour
(not
the
fault
of
the
tour,
but
a
point
to
bear
in
mind
when
joining
such
large
tour
groups).

Had
a
stomachache
and
had
to
use
the
toilet
before
our
departure
from
Phi
Phi
Island.
We
were
5
mins
late
to
our
speed
boat,
and
when
we
arrived,
we
saw
that
our
speed
boat
had
unanchored
and
was
already
leaving.
The
guide
did
not
account
for
the
number
of
pax
before
leaving.
I.e.
if
you
have
an
accident
on
one
of
the
island,
you
would
likely
be
left
behind
to
care
for
yourself
and
find
your
way
back
to
mainland.
My
suggestion,
do
visit
Phi
Phi
(over
James
Bond
if
you
have
to
choose),
but
do
so
with
a
different
tour.
