The Fish and Chips dinner was great. The fish was battered and cooked well. The Kilkenny draft was smooth, light and creamy, not watered down. The service was excellent.

Not your typical Irish pub for sure but hey, it's in Chiang Rai and the vibes are great, nevertheless. Staff are very attentive and pleasant. However, we returned on a second night and decided to go for the house special "Homemade Guiness pie..." Boy was I disappointed! After almost 40 mins wait, I was underwhelmed. Crust on top which was just a cover was undercooked, almost raw. I had about 3 scoops of the stew and that was it! As you can see from the pix, the chips have a bigger size ratio than than the pie! If it wasn't their "Specials" on the board, I wouldn't rant about it but I hope this is a constructive review. Overall, it's still a great place to hang out and get to know the regulars.

The best place in town for a typical pub like atmosphere. Very good draught Guinness and Kilkennies and Tiger. Lots of alternative bottled beers too. The food is inexpensive but delicious, especially the western fare like hamburgers and cordon blue. Very friendly owner and staff. One of my favorite places

3 to 4 stars for O'Kane's. Very good social meeting place with some good live music. Very friendly and efficient staff, and good vibe about the place. Centrally positioned with seating inside and out. Food I thought average. I had fish & chips which were considered excellent by one reviewer, but I was underwhelmed. A cramped pool table in one corner would be better removed for bigger dining and drinking area. I would certainly return for the ambience.

One of the most social places to meet expats and locals in Chiang Rai. Food and drink available all day. Friendly staff and free peanuts, what more do you need!

Good simple pub with very friendly staff and cold beer. The usual ‘farang’ pub where life is slow. There’s a good live band in the evening and I like the seating area across the street.

Regarded as the local by my travel companion and I when visiting Chiang Rai. There is nothing bad to say. We came every day for the 7 days we were in Chiang Rai. Breakfast, lunch, dinner they have it covered. Constantly was trying new things on the menu and found nothing I didn't like 😋 Irish stews, English breakfast, thai curries and rices all superb. Ambience and atmosphere just as terrific 👌 all the staff are warm, friendly and above all funny 😎 there is always something vibing here. Live music, sports and good times. Awe is truly awesome and has done a magnificent job with this fine establishment. Take it from me.....there is no where else you want to be in Chiang rai all night, every night 🙌🥳 P.S watch out for Jenny on her night off......she is a party animal and pool shark 😅🥰

Great pub. Lovely friendly attentive staff. Good selection of beer and food. Free pool and no bargirls. Both a bonus! With Guinness, Kilkenny, Magners and Tiger on draught 👍

Wow, I arrived in Chiang Rai and was walking to my hotel in my Guinness shirt, then randomly stumbled upon this amazing little Irish Bar. The Guinness was perfect. The complimentary spicy nuts were tasty. The plate of nachos was delicious. The service was exceptional and I was made to feel very welcome by all staff and locals. Loved it! Thank you.

Peaceful family run bar-restaurant that has live music around 8PM. The 🍅 sauce on a too-thin crust pizza got me back to try the spaghetti which was also satisfying. A cold bottle of BeerLao IPA at US$3. Pool table. Indoor/outdoor tables. Pleasant staff.

Great venue, nice staff, good pool table. Cool place to chill! A little bit disappointed in the size of the large pizza and that it took so long to come out but overall was a nice spot to have a drink.

A small place with a couple of TV screens. IPA Thai beer is good. I had the pizza (big size?) but it was just average. The pizza crust was soft and wet. Friendly staff

My favourite place to drink in Chiang Rai. It has the full set of Guinness, Kilkenny and Magniers on tap with lovely, attentive staff. The landlady Oh is really friendly with her passion for the pub clear to see. They also show all the football. I will definitely visit again if I’m in town!

Good location, staff was very nice and attentive. The Carbonara with Bacon was not very good, the sauce was creamy, but it had a sweet flavor as if it was cooked with condensed sweetened milk or something? Most carbonaras I've had in Thailand are salty or cheesy, but I was not expecting the sweet flavor. We ordered 3 dishes between 2 people and after the 1st plate (a sandwich) came out, it took like another 10 minutes for the 2nd dish (pasta). Then, another 10 minutes passed before we were informed that they couldn't make the 3rd dish (pigs in a blanket appetizer) because of some missing ingredients, but it was weird to find out more than 20 minutes after having ordered it, like they were not even going to start preparing it until after we were done with the other dishes.

We were walking around exploring, saw a Guinness sign 😋 so went in for one...perfect! They have a very good pool table pool ...played a few games and had a second Guinness. Went back the next morning for breakfast...very nice. This Irish pub is worth a visit...very nice place.

Came for a meal with my friend, absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is so friendly, the lady who owns the pub makes you feel like you're part of the family. Such lovely people, well priced and amazing food. Best and closest thing to food from home we have came across on our travels (were from England and Ireland). The thick cut chips are better than most I've had in UK pubs, the beef stew was outstanding. Such a lucky find for two girls who missed their home foods. Cannot recommend more!!!! Best irish I've ever been to.
