More staff than customers

Like Home Depot or Lowe's back in the states only cleaner and much more helpful staff. So, not so much like Home Depot or Lowe's. Good prices and good selection. Always willing to load your truck and tie down the load. My number one choice over DoHome. They have expanded the store. Turned a big loading area into a new store front. Lots of new items on display.

They switched off the electric to the ATM when I was attempting to make a withdrawal. Then they told me not to use the machine because they were going to switch off the power to that circuit. TOO LATE!!!!!! They could have told me before they switched off the power or displayed some kind of sign. When the power was switched on again the ATM failed to re-boot and I lost my debit card. The manager I spoke to failed to accept that it was the fault of one of his staff that switched off the power and pointed several times to the phone number on the ATM. Now I am inconvenienced by having to cancel the lost ATM card and by having to apply in person at my bank for a new one. Until I have the new card I can only do cardless withdrawals at ATMs of my own bank. It happened on a Saturday morning and so I am screwed until Monday when I can visit my local bank.

Nice big shop who provides everything you need for your house. Prices are justified

Have almost all things for maintenance, home improvement projects, etc. Often prices are considerably cheaper than purchasing locally. Example: today, painting products of same brand purchased locally are nearly 50% cheaper at Global House.

Large shop But no advice, no smile. Lazy employees (men and women) using their phones.

Helpful staff. Good quality products.
