Great market to get some fresh fish, mussels and other seafood on the island. The prices are very nice. I paid 150 bath for 2 kilos of mussels, 280 bath for 1 kilo of prawns, 160 bath for 1 kilo of fresh sea fish and 200-250 for 1 kilo of baby octopus. Overall I paid something like 1000 bath. Such an incredible barbecue we had that day!

Great street food, fresh fish, kind people

It's a small morning market in town. Nearby the Thongsala Pier and accessible by walking distance. You can simply get your fresh supplies like fresh produce and fresh catch from the sea. You can get some local snacks too.

Amazing place, worth going in the evening when every spot is working. You can also have a cool fruit shake for breakfast in the morning here. Lots of true and cheap food: fruits, different fried meat and not only (fried onions, tofu cheese), thai dishes etc. Great experience, want to get back here again. Love it!

Good shop

Like any local market in south east asia. No fix prices so watch out for rip offs. I found that even veggies are not that fresh if you don't know the shop. Sea food was actually good and fresh compare to the stores on the island. There is no bakery ( dah!!! they don't eat bread much). make sure to compare couple stores before ordering so much fruit and veggies since they don't take it back even right on the spot. I found that they tend to be more rude compare to the north of island. I only give three stars since they try to rip me off eventhough i am a regular going there every morning. Please clean your market more frequently and bring more of those beautiful mushrooms.
