The Nirvana beach resort is the perfect place to stay in Koh Lanta. We stayed in a room that was two stories; The top floor devoted to a wonderful bedroom and bathroom, and the downstairs with a wet bar with a full refrigerator, another bathroom, a swinging couch, and a private pool. The view from all the above was directly west facing with a sunset to die for. The service and the food at the Nirvana is excellent. Breakfast was included in our stay, and each morning we were greeted by smiling, wait staff that remembered our orders from the previous day. Each day the front desk staff arranged our activities which consisted of island hopping snorkeling, scootering (which you can rent from the resort) and an elephant sanctuary excursion. The beach at Nirvana resort was wonderful, swimmable, and the ocean toys were super fun. The pool was awesome and the swim up bar and hanging lounge chairs were incredibly relaxing. As a person who runs their own resort property in Mexico, I can say this is an incredibly well run resort! Congratulations to the owner (who is a sweetheart) for making it through Covid and providing this incredible experience! If I ever go back to Koh Lanta, this is where I'm staying! You can't go wrong!

Really lovely hotel, had the whole place to ourselves and the staff were really kind and hospitable (particularly the pool bartender in the evening!) We rented a scooter but there was an issue with the accelerator so they didn’t charge us which was appreciated.

I arrived at the hotel and to my surprise THE BATHROOM HAS NO DOOR!!!! (the bathroom is in the same environment as the bed, all without separation). Based on this, many problems arose that the manager of the place did not know or want to solve. If you are traveling alone, it may be a hotel for you, but if you are traveling with someone, it is impossible to stay here because it is uncomfortable and unsanitary to go to the bathroom with a person literally next to you. bad predisposition of the staff in general, few rights as consumers. Also hot water doesn't work well. The people in charge of customer service did not speak English well, so we had several misunderstandings that resulted in harm to me. Last detail: in one of the 3 times I had to change rooms, a belonging was stolen. I never found it, no one answered about it. I never make these claims (they take time) but I really felt obliged to tell my terrible experience in this place.

We stayed at this stunning hotel and it felt like a boutique (more than) 5* experience! The location and rooms are absolutely stunning and the service was impeccable. The staff really went out of their way to suit our needs and the eastern style hospitality and warm personal touch really made our stay extra special. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for over three weeks in Thailand and our stay at the Nirvana Hotel was the most expensive one and unfortunately the worst. Within the three days, we had to change our room four times. The toilet was clogged in the fist two rooms, in the third room we we couldn’t use the safe. So we moved to the fourth room. We woke up at 3:30 in the morning from a smell that was so bad we nearly threw up. We switched off the AC and opened the window but it got even worse. In the Second Night we again woke up at 3:30 because of the same smell. I don’t know what happens at night there but it’s disgusting. Food/Restaurant The first evening me made the BIG mistake and ate in the restaurant. We were the only two guests and when we saw the menu we knew why. The food and especially the drinks were ridiculously overpriced. A small beer cost 190 baht (plus service charge), usually it’s 60. The quality of the food was just disappointing and left us quite angry. The breakfast is nothing special. Pool The pool was always dirty and full of leaves. No one cared about cleaning it. Some of the hotel guests started removing leaves. All together it was such a waste of money and made us really angry. We wanted to talk to the hotel manager when we checked out but she was unavailable. We were promised that they came back to us via email within a week but until now nothing happened. It’s been six weeks. We would not only not recommend this hotel, we would strongly advise not staying there. A huge disappointment.

Amazing staff that go above and beyond. So helpful and five star customer service. Room a bit dated but still beautiful surroundings. Location bit more awkward, but if your looking for quiet and peaceful place to be, this is the spot. Special shout again to the staff, they went above and beyond for New Year's celebrations.

Such an amazing place and stunning scenery. I like to see the sun down here very much. The staff is kind and friendly, the room is clean and comfortable, I would recommend this place for sure!!

My stay here was excellent. It was the start of off-season, but the weather was still great. The service was excellent, the staff were responsive and our room was quite nice. I found the bed incredibly comfortable. The sunset views from the jacuzzi was a highlight of my trip to Koh Lanta. I would recommend anyone to book this hotel.

Good experience overall, staff were very welcoming and pleasant which added a lot of value to to the experience. In comparison it’s probably the best hotel in the area and the local beach area is pretty amazing. The rooms aren’t too great in all fairness and the jacuzzi didn’t work, which is a shame considering this was one of the more expensive hotels in the area.

LOVED our stay at nirvana beach resort! My partner and I stayed in the suite with its one private swimming pool, which was amazing and extremely romantic. Not many people were at the resort when we went in late march, so it felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves with plenty of silence other than the chirping birds and crashing waves. We stayed in room 501, and we highly recommend. I didn't realize that our hotel rented mopeds so I rented from a place closer to the pier. When calling for a taxi to leave, the owner instead dropped off my partner at the pier while I dropped off the moped and walked to the pier. As the owner was driving back from the pier, she spotted me on the side of the road and told me to hop in. She brought be exactly where I needed to go and when I tried to pay her, she refused. This just speaks to the amazing service and care that nirvana beach resort staff shares. Could not be happier with our stay. Very Lgbtq+ friendly. Plenty of restaurants (fancy and less fancy) near by. Views are incredible.

The experience was very bad, the rooms are very poorly designed inside (the TV points anywhere except the bed or the chair, there is no door to the bathroom or room separation). Neither room has a door into the bathroom. Bad service in general, I had to change rooms several times, I spent two days without hot water and nobody fixed it. Nobody takes responsibility for anything that happens. In the hotel there is also no cell phone signal and the Wi-Fi works badly. This hotel was supposed to be a good hotel (for the price) but it really wasn't. I do not recommend at all.

We spent 6 wonderful night at this resort. Loved every minute, the bed and pillows were of high quality. The large pool and beach were beautiful and well kept. We never had a problem finding pool chairs, plenty of shade if needed, or sun if that’s what you seek. Loved the peacefulness of this resort. Thank you

Excellent accommodation and great value !!! A lovely place and privacy. We stayed for 4 days 3 nights in Junior Suite with outdoor Jacuzzi. The room was clean, comfort and stylish. Love to be woke up with seaview. The pool was large face to the sea and sun. Just a minute walk to the beach. The staff were polite and helpful. We enjoyed kayak and paddle board. There is many nice local restaurants. Definitely recommended this place.

My partner arranged a one night stay over in this incredible resort as a surprise for my birthday and I can’t begin to describe how beautiful this resort is in words. We booked the villa that had a private pool and jacuzzi that looked out to the sea and photos don’t do it any justice!! Both the staff and owner of the resort went above and beyond to make our stay extra special and I can’t thank them enough. We were treated like VIPs the moment we landed at the Pier to the very end of our stay. Food, service and amenities make it one of the best stays I’ve ever had and will definitely be coming back!

Hotel was quiet so we bartered for a reduced rate and stayed in a junior suite with jacuzzi and sea view. Overall enjoyed our stay for the price we paid. The jacuzzi and balcony with view were gorgeous, enjoyed sunbathing and paddleboarding. If we had paid full price we would have been very disappointed for the following reasons: - pool was never really cleaned, steps down to the beach were covered in sand, paddleboards in need of repair. - No water refill (only place we have stayed in Thailand in 3 weeks without this) and 110 baht for 500ml is extortionate. - balcony needed a privacy screen to the side - Room was missing small details (towel hooks/soap dish) unfinished tile work and dirty windows, and not ideal that there is no door on the toilet! - Breakfast was very disappointing - initial order was forgotten, then wrong order delivered and it was cold. Also waited 45 mins for it - buffet would be preferable - pool drinks were almost London prices, not inkeeping with local prices which meant we drank beers from 7/11 on our balcony. This results in no atmosphere Could be a incredible resort - just needs a few improvements/thought and the prices reducing until it gets there.

It was an amazing stay. Really nice rooms, beach and pool facilities. Apart from that also the people working there were amazing and friendly, especially Merry (like merry Christmas), he is the best man. Organising everything you need and speaking English very well. He is so customer and service oriented and made our stay perfect. Such a service I have never experienced in Thailand. Thanks Merry.

This is one of the most beautiful resorts I have ever been to! The rooms are great, some have hot tubs in the balcony with ocean view. The resort is directly by an absolutely stunning beach. Thinking back of my stay there brings tears to my eyes because it was so beautiful, especially compared to my pos life now!

Not everything was perfect, as we excpected by choosing one of best places in koh lanta & paying a lot of money. The breakfast was very poor, pancakes from last day beakfast, coffee very average. But the staff was great and very helpful. Nirvana’s location is a bit far away from other restaurants and markets, but it’s walkable distance. Perfect place for honeymooners.

One of the best Resorts I’ve ever been. The views are amazing, the rooms are pristine and well designed, with the popular thailand wood and crazy views. Mine had the outdoor jacuzzi with ocean views, one of the best sunsets. The staff very friendly and they speak english, thats very helpful. Merry was very very nice with us always helpful with local recommendations and rentals/touring support. The food was good, the prices on point, not cheap but not crazy expensive like in other luxury places in Thailand. Quite, clean, peaceful, nature and lovely Resort. Definitely we will stay again.

Over priced. Lovely staff in a nice location but it's not a 5 star resort. Access from the higher rooms to the beach and the pool is via a difficult staircase which is nerve-wracking to descend and exhausting to ascend. The breakfast was excellent but that alone couldn't account for the high price we paid for the sparsely furnished room. Just some cushions for the balcony would have made all the difference.

Our scooter broke down just outside the Nirvana hotel. Two of the staff immediately approached us and tried to get the scooter started. They really tried, but it was no use. The scooter had broken down. So we were invited to wait in the reception for assistance. The staff were so nice and friendly and brought us juice. After about one hour, a new scooter was delivered to us and we could continue our ride to a nearby beach. Thank you so much the staff at Nirvana hotel! You really made our day!

Randomly selected this resort as a walk in guest and stayed in their suite. Fantastic views, friendly staff.. Had a deserving soak in their jacuzzi at night after a long motorcycle ride. Cons: Hot water not really hot, and the lack of a toilet door in the suite does bother me a little. But all the cons are forgotten the moment the sun starts to set to the symphony of the crashing waves in the privacy of your own spacious balcony.
