It's a open market with fresh everything from vegetables to meat, flowers to dessert. It could get quite dirty sometime due to high quantity of venders and buyers. One tips to know, the earlier you go, the more fresh stuffs will be. The market open every early and I mean at midnight. You could find the freshest (if that's a word) late night snack there.
