Applied Lanna architecture buildings near town with 6_7 domestic flights per day, covid19 pandemics reduces flight to 2-3 times daily, now it's on expansive runway construction project. During end od winter to early summer season , it's sawrmed by polluted air, esp.PM2.5 so visibility for aviation reduces so flight taking off and landing face difficulty on that time.

There is local shop inside with cheap, But DO NOT BUY the chili paste, eventhough the you buy the small size, it was over than 100 ml. The officer told me it cannot bring on the plane. Bad day for me. Lost money!!!

The only airport in the city, not too far from the city, plenty of parking spaces.

Clean airport, we could go in even though it was closed (opening 8:30, we entered at 7h). Wifi is very good. They offer you umbrellas to go to and from the aircraft.

Small quiet but equipped with what you need. There is a souvenirs shop selling boxes for repacking your belongings in case cannot load at checkin counter. No 7-11 here. There is rent a car counter. You can also call Grab car to get you or just walk outside to look for taxi drivers that are waiting for passengers.

One of typical small local airport in Thailand. But very clean and easy to use. also not much crowded. Have minimum service in here. small coffee shop and caned soft drinking. But this is not international standard airport. So If you`er smoker better to smoking before airport. And don`t expect smoking room or ash tray in here. Also outside of airport like parking place is not permit to do that. I remind all china airports closed smoking room. reason for healthy. Yes the country own by one party, a bit far from modern democracy society. The Thai Govt. also take a lot of tax from tobaccos. i hope they can make tiny smoking room with standard ventilation system. The country is not short of money. there are too many thief inside. always. :)
