Ennore beach is situated near creek of Ennore. It is backwoods situated in the northern east side of Tamilnadu near Coramandal Shore. The region is full of salt swamps and backwoods ideally sinks in water during the high tide. The stream area is spread along 3 kilometres till sea and 5 kilometres sideways of shore.

Thazankuppam is a very small stretch of Beach in Northern end of Chennai. It is worth spending evenings or early mornings at this Beach once in a while (say once per month) if you stay in North of Chennai and other bigger beaches are far away. This Beach is mostly occupied by Lovers, Solitary Men and typical North Chennai Gangs. Not many families visit this place though few families enjoy their time here. People who pass this route regularly, stop themselves at this place during evening time and enjoy the cool breeze and continue their journey. We often get Picturesque view of Sky from this place. Children enjoy locating Ships parked at distant ends of sea. Water looks little dirty as in other beaches of Chennai. People do take bath in sea at this place. The joy at this place is very much dependant on the Circumstances (Nature of Crowd/Sky/Weather etc) that surround this place at the given time of your visit.

Very peaceful place. The sea shore is very clean. You can enjoy with your loved one. You can visit here morning and evening because there is no coconut tree or some other plant. You just sit and feel the sound of sea wave. You can also enjoy the fishing. There are some small shops available for snacks. Very peaceful clean but not greens...Go and enjoy with nature.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of Ennor Beach is simply breathtaking. The vast expanse of golden sand, complemented by the gentle waves of the Bay of Bengal, creates a picturesque setting that is hard to resist. I found myself mesmerized by the serene atmosphere and the sound of the crashing waves, which provided a soothing and calming effect.

A serene place. Total peace and jus nobody to disturb you. Apt place for an awesome sunrise. A must try for photography enthusiasts. Highly recommended.

Good place in day times with families but, evenings not suggestable with families

I know this place from past 8 years & now I have visited this after 5 years, still I fell the same vibes. Spent more than 1 hour & standing I front of sea. Awesome place to chill. It should be cleaned & near by people need to keep this place clean.

Nice beach, with not much crowd. The thunderous waves are really bringing inner peace. Can find more fisherman boat, looks like can get some fresh fishes here. One of the best place for photoshoot. Very beautiful beach spot. The beach area is very dirty. The beach waves are very big in this area due to blockage of other two sides with rock stones. Childrens are love this beach very much. I provide four stars due to beach is very dirty. Any way the beach is very beautiful and good for photoshoot.

Loved the sea from here.. the sky and sea and wind was absolutely stunning.. must visit .. although the surrounding may not be that cleanly .. and not many shops to hang around for long .. still best to visit around 3 - 6 in the eve in rainy seasons

A good local beach but not suit for lot of peoples, during weekends there will be a lot of people visit over there a part a good place to visit for local located people's. I love to spend a lot of time in week days after exhausted the day time work at evening will visit with friends and will share our thoughts and memories along with chill breeze.
